Halfbaked I am so sorry for your loss. Flowers Really hope you are OK and will be back as soon as you are ready on another thread with a very uneventful pregnancy.... Hugs! x

Sultanajo · 20/05/2013 17:12

Penny glad you are feeling better - as you say enjoy it while it lasts and try not to worry it means anything more than a good day!!!

Humpty how did telling your Dad go? Bet he was chuffed to bits?

Mrs AVB I can just imagine you heaving into your bin while your colleagues outside give each other looks! Lol!

Chocco hope you made it round with all the Avon books - bet it felt like a mammoth task!!!

Sultanajo · 20/05/2013 17:12

Extra woop woop! Soooo pleased for you! You have waited so long - was soooo worth the wait! Don't you dare jump ship to the December bunch - we love you here! x

Sultanajo · 20/05/2013 17:16

Gemma that's a bummer your cheapest private scan in your area is £150. I am only going for a couple because I am still spotting and having pains, so I just can't wait until the 12 weeks! Otherwise I was going to be strong and resist this time....

Fryingpan try not to panic. I had that the other day - felt relieved and then panicked, but it came back with a vengance, which reassured me for 5 mins until I wished I felt better again....

Gingy really sorry you didn't get reassurance today and are now in limbo. As the others have said there have been positive experiences for other ladies in your position so I will keep everything crossed it's the same for you. I wouldn't rely on the CB digitals as they have caused major panic for others when it has given odd readings. My heart goes out to you and hope these next two weeks go quickly for you xxx

Sultanajo · 20/05/2013 17:21

Toby I hope you made it into Sainsbury's. I really could do with getting some solero ice lollies and some strawberry splits I am desperately craving, but I just can't bring myself to go. Have been feeling particularly rough today and a bit hopeless with the constant nausea - don't really know what to do with myself and DH's chicken chow mein from last night is still stinking out the kitchen somehow which really isn't helping. I think he is hoping to have the rest tonight - I may have to move out if he does!!! Smile

Cosmic keeping fingers firmly crossed for you - really pleased the bleeding has stopped.

Catch welcome! I am definitely with you, Extra and Mrs GSR on the googling everything and then feeling ten times worse! Yesterday I was googling "brown discharge with stabbing pains at 7 weeks" and you can imagine the results I got! Not exactly the reassurance I was looking for! The stupid thing is, I KNOW I will find bad things when I start looking, but I am desperate to know someone else has had the same and it's all been fine! Must step away from google and wait for the scan on Wednesday!!! Honestly!!!

Halfbaked, so sorry to hear your news. Look after yourself and hope to see you on a trending thread soonThanks

MrsAVB · 20/05/2013 17:38

halfbaked so sorry for your loss... Lots of love xxx
sultana you are not far off with me heaving in the bin lol. Another new first today was vomming in the work toilets. Nice.
In other news, I've decided not to take the new job I've been offered. Might just be because I'm feeling crap at the moment, but I don't think I can cope with the stress of starting a new job and having a baby right now. The money isn't so overwhelmingly better that it makes enough of a difference. Feel a bit sad about it, but confident I've made the right decision for me and bean for now.

MrsH17 · 20/05/2013 17:46

halfbaked so sorry to hear your news. Flowers xx

enjoyingscience · 20/05/2013 17:52

Halfbaked so sorry. Hopefully you'll be back in another club when you're ready to try again.

MrsAVB Sounds like that's the right descision for you, I'm not sure I would take a new job now unless it was tonnes better, and you've got all of maternity leave to job hunt, eh Wink

I've spent yet another day at work with the rage for company. I'm starting to suspect work, rather than hormones may have something to do with it!

Sultanajo · 20/05/2013 17:55

MrsAVB poor u! Sounds like u have made the right decision job wise - your head is probably spinning a little with baby stuff, let alone trying to take on a new job....x

Sultanajo · 20/05/2013 17:56

Uhoh enjoying. See if the rage is still with u on your days off.....

cosmickitten · 20/05/2013 18:08

Frizz1986 · 20/05/2013 18:11

MrsGSR · 20/05/2013 18:11

Glad your feeling good in your decision MrsAVB, I always think making the decision is the hardest part!

Sultanajo I know what you mean about trying to step away from google and wait for the scan. Mine is tomorrow and it feels like forever away. I just want to know now that everything is ok!

enjoying I hope work gets better soon!

Sultanajo · 20/05/2013 18:28

I am feeling like a crazy woman MrsGSR! Time has definitely stood still! What time is your scan tomorrow? X

MrsGSR · 20/05/2013 18:33

10.40, I'm probably going to go to bed at about 7 so that it will get here quicker! I'm only 5 + 4 according to my dates, but the doctor said my hcg levels were about right for 8 weeks lol, so I'm hoping they'll be able to see something!

What time in Wednesday is yours?

MTBMummy · 20/05/2013 18:44
