Random thought... Would it be wrong to stick my fingers down my throat?! Coz that's how ill I feel? Think about worst hangover uve ever had x100 & add a bit of travel sickness in there. Am soooo fed up. Sorry for moaning. Am so happy to be preggers but jeez give me a break. Even if I could throw up then have half hour of relief. Bleugh. So am not rly gonna stick fingers down throat, that's just grim. Am mentally preparing myself to go & do the girls packed lunches & put some washing on. Lol sounds ridicolous. OH has been great but works nights & has been helping as much as he can. I had to leave work an hour early 2day.

Hi there, I'm completely new to mumsnet...and completely new to bring pregnant! I'm at the beginning of week 5 and have GP appt tomorrow. Don't know what to expect and feeling very anxious!

This seems like a really supportive group and great to think I can speak to people who are at the same stage as me! I'm going to study up on the forum etiquette now but hope this post is okay!

choco I know exactly how you feel. FX this doesn't last too long for any of us. Stupid MS. One thing that I've found offers some relief is sucking boiled sweets...but I think I'm going to end up with rotting teeth due to sweets and vomming!

Well, I didn't tell dh the News earlier; our 2.4 yr old ds did! Told him to say "me big brother" and hand him the positive test as a gift...Though dh wasn't looking and as ds's pronunciation isn't great, it sounded like "me big buzzer!" Which had dh confused for a moment!

I'm going on a long planned for girly shopping trip on Sat with my sister and best mate. Meant to be going for sushi and wine, both of which I love, and now can't have either They'll be so suspicious as been banging on about it for weeks, so might just have to tell them the truth.

Just downloaded a pregnancy app which says I should be five weeks on Thursday.

Not going to be able to sleep tonight as mind is racing!
