Frizz would definitely talk to your hairdresser before going ahead. Also apparently your skin can be more sensitive while preggers and more susceptible to reactions to hair dyes.

enjoying no worries. Have to have a reminder on my phone daily or I would forget too! XSmile

Evening all, finally home, after a barrage of tests the short version is they're not sure and I need to go back on Sunday for more tests.

I'm very sorry for upsetting people with this, so a full update is on the other thread.

Thanks to everyone for all the crossed fingers x

enjoyingscience · 17/05/2013 22:17

Crossing toes too MTB

extracrunchy · 18/05/2013 00:49

Mummy - please don't feel sorry!! We're here to support each other - you mustn't feel bad for sharing. Fx your news at the next barrage is good.

Sunny - I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you'll have time to heal and look after yourself - and hopefully the next one will be a sticky one xx

Pizza - welcome and congrats!!

Mrs - I had incredibly sore boobs till nearly a week ago when they stopped, then last couple of days just really achy on the sides and very sensitive nips!! I'm about 6 weeks (if any proper ones at all - remains to be seen at scan Monday)

chocoloulou33 · 18/05/2013 08:06

mtb I replied back on the other thread but just seen this. Please do not feel bad, no one should feel like they can't share what they are going through on here.
Its awful going thru a time where u think u could be m/c'ing & I know that having everyones kind comments & support rly helps. I know its sad to read when ppl are going thru it but imagine how they are feeling. Hugs to everyone going through this & who are waiting like mtbmummy & mrsg to see if all will be ok xxx

TobyLerone · 18/05/2013 08:17

You should absolutely not feel bad, MTB. Yes, it's scary reading about what you and others are going through. But that doesn't mean you're not entitled to everyone's support.

Good luck for tomorrow Flowers

lovelilies · 18/05/2013 08:52

ok, it's poaring with rain here, I have a streaming cold and feel knackered.... any suggestions what I can do with dd (7) to make today reasonably fun?!
She doesn't know about me being pg, dp is away on a course so it's just us 2 and I'm at work all day tomorrow...
help please! Grin

MrsGSR · 18/05/2013 08:59

I didn't think my boobs had grown much, until a bra I ordered turned up last week and because of the shape I couldn't deny they'd grown. Sent it back to exchange it for a bigger size, which arrived today, along with a letter containing my nhs card I'd accidently sent in the returns parcel. DH thinks its hilarious. I'm not sure how it happened, although it did take me three times of sealing the parcel to remember to put the returns note in, so apparently one of those times I put in my card. Oops!

Fx tomorrow's results are good MTB

MrsGSR · 18/05/2013 09:02

love do they like baking? cupcakes or bread (when I was a kid we used to make bread rolls in funny shapes) or my 7 year old niece loves colouring and doing puzzles, I Google word searchs etc and print them off for her.

MrsGSR · 18/05/2013 09:04

or the kids I used to babysit for loved making the living room into a 'cinema', blacking out the windows with towels and then putting on a film and eating popcorn?

TobyLerone · 18/05/2013 09:14

Thinking of you today, if you happen to look at the thread, pod.

fryingpantoface · 18/05/2013 09:16

Sunny so sorry to hear that, i hope your feeling a tad bit better nowThanks

Frizz1986 · 18/05/2013 10:13

pea got my fx crossed that today goes well.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 18/05/2013 12:00

MrsAVB are you on commission from Mr Humpty... Hmm. He does take my breath away with his lack of tidiness, yes.
Glad to hear I'm not the only breathless one.

Also, enjoying I too have THE RAGE. All the time. All the time, at all the people for all the things. I mutter incessantly under my breath at people on the tube who have the sheer effrontery to be smelly/in my way/taking the seats.

MTB - what Toby said. You're as entitled to talk about your experience as everyone else. You're not depressing anyone - I certainly hope we can help a little, and wish we could do more.

pod everything crossed today!

Still nauseous every morning like clockwork. Managed a banana first thing, which did seem to help. Also ginger oat biscuits (Doves Farm) are carby and gingery, which seem to work. Bleddy expensive though!

Sultanajo · 18/05/2013 12:28

Pod if u r reading, thinking of u today xxx

LittlePeaPod · 18/05/2013 13:44

Hi Ladies

I promised to provide an update following my scan however firstly:

Mummy and anyone else feeling bad Please do not feel bad and not share your experiences with the ladies on the thread because you feel bad and worry you may be affecting some of us. I can only speak for myself but please be assured that its not what you write or say on here that has had an affect on me. It's my experience 10 weeks ago today that affects me. And hearing others go through the same awful experience is painful because I know exactly how that feels and even though we are lucky to be pregnant so quickly after, I am still grieving our lost child. The worry, pain, unknown outcome, constant hope all is well, is beyond stressful.I want all of us to have a healthy and successful pregnancy. I don't want any woman to suffer the heart break of mc or near mc. This forum is here to support us all. In the same way I would not want someone not to share their happy news because they feel guilty, I do not want someone not to share their worries because they feel guilty. Hope everything goes well for tomorrow Mummy x

MrG so glad to hear the positive news but what an awfully stressful time..

Really sorry if I missed anyone but I am exhausted and struggling to read through all notes. Sad

My scan went well this morning. Feeling so much more positive. They confirmed I am 6+4 and baby measures 6.6mm (ohhh how tiny). Smile. We saw and heard the heart beat and sonograher said it was a strong heartbeat at 120bpm for such an early gestation. Relief can not explain how I feel. Thank you for all your lovely messages and thoughts I can not explain how on edge I have been. Next step getting over next Tuesday. Smile

Well done, Little! That must be a huge relief! Smile

fryingpantoface · 18/05/2013 13:52

Yey Pea!!

So pleased for you :)

TobyLerone · 18/05/2013 13:57

Brilliant news, pod! :o

lovelilies · 18/05/2013 14:01

That's great pod!
I hope our little pip has a heartbeat come the repeat scan on Fri... DP will be there this time Smile
Been shopping and found a friend for dd to play with today, took them swimming, now turfed them outside while u catch up on the soaps I'm too tired to watch Grin

MrsGSR · 18/05/2013 14:07

So, so pleased for you pod! That's so exciting!

I had another blood test today and the Doctor just called me with the results. He confirmed that the first nurse had definately got the numbers mixed up as she had written in the ultrasound book that I had falling hcg numbers. However, the numbers from the first two tests had gone up 89% which he says is fine (apparently anything over 63% is good!) and he said if he had looked at the results beforehand he wouldn't have bothered testing me today! However he did test, and my levels had MORE than doubled and are quite high for 5 weeks, so he still wants to do the ultrasound on Tuesday JUST INCASE IT'S TWINS!!!

extracrunchy · 18/05/2013 14:15

Mrs!!! OMG!!! Crazy. Can't wait to hear!

The nurse should be properly reprimanded. I mean... The stress she caused you!

fryingpantoface · 18/05/2013 14:17

That's brilliant news MrsGR so happy for you!
