sunny I'm so sorry. Massive hugs for you (v un-MNetty) and fx for a sticky bean very very soon.

pod understandable, and you don't have to apologise. You have a duty to yourself and your pea to look after yourself. Will be hoping that all goes well tomorrow am, and thinking of you. xx

MrsAVB · 17/05/2013 16:21

Afternoon all!
gingy hope you got some answers on your weird discharge! sultana and winter so exciting you got to see heartbeats. pea, I've been feeling lightheaded and faint too, mainly combined with nausea and when I'm getting up from lying or sitting. sarah, sultana and extra, how far along are you and your sore boobs? Mine stopped being so sore a couple of weeks ago (am 6+4), although I can still only wear bras with a bit of padding otherwise my nipples make me totally indecent! frizz such a lovely story re. telling the in laws! donttry and extra, hope spotting has improved and you're ok! crab -liked your thread re. having friends round, I would have felt exactly the same. How did it go? lovelilies, hope the pain is better and you are reassured by the scan. mrsg sending you so much love and have everything crossed that your bean clings on xxx. slug hope the sickness is improving! MTB sending you lots and lots of love and hoping you get some positive news. Xxx sunny lots of love to you too. Thank you for wishing us all well. Give yourself time and love and rest xxx
Ladies, i dont want to minimise anyone's pain at the moment but I think we need some cheering up! So have you seen this YouTube of stimulated labour on men... Hahaha! m.youtube.com/watch?v=87IUplQJFik

sarahleanne · 17/05/2013 16:46

Mrs avb-from my own dates I am 5 weeks on Sunday so still very early days.

I agree this thread is making me a little bit paranoid . I am grateful that I havnt had any bleeding this time around but I do have slight cramping but very mild which I think is normal.

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 17/05/2013 16:54

Anyone else had breathlessness? I get it in bed at night Hmm - is it pregnancy related?

MrsAVB · 17/05/2013 17:00

humpty, does DH not "take your breath away"? Smile Xxx

Sultanajo · 17/05/2013 17:18

Sunny am so sorry. Really hope u are back on another thread soon. Look after yourself! X

Pod totally understand. Will be thinking of u in the morning at your scan - sending u positive vibes!!! Will definitely welcome u back when u r ready xxx

Sultanajo · 17/05/2013 17:20

MrsAVB that link is hilarious! I am 7+1 but my boobs come and go with the soreness. They were much more sore a week ago. My nipples arent really sore - its more the sides....

Sultanajo · 17/05/2013 17:23

Humpty I have been getting breathless. Have really noticed it this week that I am breathing heavily just walking up the stairs. However, I have put it down to my fitness levels dropping due to barely moving around due to nausea for the last few weeks. Looking forward to getting my fitness levels back in a few weeks when hopefully the nausea buggers off!Wink

pizzaqueen · 17/05/2013 17:24

Hello! Can I join, I got my BFP on Wednesday. Second baby, I have a DS (2.5).

In my ara you don't see your GP you book in directly with the midwife, but they never answer the booking line? Did anyone else have this problem. They say they'll call you back within 4 hours if you leave a message but I've left a message thu and fri morning and nobody has phoned back.

I'm so excited, a planned and very much longed for baby. My DS was a 'suprise' so completely different feelings this time round.

2 close friends also announced they are 9 and 12 weeks today and yesterday so I'm desperate to start telling people but need to wait for the scan really!?

MrsHowardRoark · 17/05/2013 18:43

Hi Pizza, congratulations.

I haven't told anyone yet as I'm quite superstitious but DP has told loads of people behind my back! Luckily my family all live miles away so he can't drop his hints to them. The next six weeks are really going to drag.

I'm another one in the breathless camp, which combined with the earth shattering tiredness is making for one bored DD. I only play for a few minutes before I have to sit down and rest. At least I know it doesn't last for too long.

lovelilies · 17/05/2013 18:45

Hi all, so the scan couldn't rule out an ectopic... re-scan in 1 week... hcg showed I was 41 days, but I'm 5 weeks/ 35 days from dates & scan.... recheck beta hcg on Sunday...
all so confusing, but dp did a stint in obs & gynae and thinks we're ok Smile
Told my mum today, so she knows why my head has been in the clouds!!
Fx for everyone else awaiting results, and those feeling poorly xx

MrsGSR · 17/05/2013 18:51

So sorry sunny :(

humpty I'm getting really breathless, I noticed it when walking into town yesterday.

Congrats Pizza

Those of you signing off for a little while, I never understood how hard a miscarridge would be until yesterday. For 16 hours I 'knew' I was going to lose the baby and I was completely heartbroken. I can only imagine how hard it is in the long run. Fx no one on this thread has to go through that again. I can definately see why people might need a break.

Frizz1986 · 17/05/2013 19:06

So sorry sunny Take good care of yourself and I hope that you are back in threads shortly with a very sticky bean.

Fx for everyone else waiting and wondering.
Have a busy weekend so may be taking a few days out myself as well and then it's only a week until honeymoon (then i really will be off the grid)

chocoloulou33 · 17/05/2013 19:25

Constant horrendous nausea gah :( am having a very early night 2nite... As in 8pm :/

donttrythisathome · 17/05/2013 19:53

Sorry Sunny, I've been there so know how you feel (well, at least I know how I felt).

lovelilies good luck on Sunday.

I am really tired, and have a funny appetite and getting v slightly nauseous. Oh god I don'y know how I'd handle full on sickness with a small child, FT work and commute of 4ish hours 3 days a week....grrr...hoping it doesn't happen. Although healthy pregnancy would be worth it I know.

Anyway, I can't keep up here so will lurk for a while.

SadPander · 17/05/2013 20:10

So sorry to everyone who is going through a tough time, stress and worry at the moment. I really feel for you and am hoping you will be okay. Flowers

I've dropped off here for a while as I've really been letting my anxieties get to me the last week or so and been worrying a lot without any good cause, as other have said I needed to just get on with things for a bit. Scan and booking appointment are finally booked for 14th June and I think worrying about this maybe this set me off into a panic!

gemma277 · 17/05/2013 20:16

Congrats and welcome pizza. This is Second baby for me too with DD 2.5 as well. Good luck to all, and hurry up twelve week scan!!!

enjoyingscience · 17/05/2013 20:21

Congratulations pizza! There is a stats thread separately if you want to add yourself.

The closest I've come to a symptom today is PMT. I've had the rage all afternoon, and cried when DP got in and gave me a hug. Blardy hormones. Made angel delight 'for DS' which helped.

Sultanajo · 17/05/2013 21:02

Love glad you are getting reassurance from DP.

chocco omg today has been almost the worst so far nausea wise. I forced my dinner down so I could take my vits and the vits nearly came straight back up! Its ironic its during the first 12 weeks u have to take vitamins the size of your fist and its also when you are struggling with nausea and horrendous heartburn!!!

For all those taking a break from the thread, I think we will hopefully all feel better about things after the 12 week scans....

Sultanajo · 17/05/2013 21:05

pizza welcome and congrats!

donttry fingers firmly crossed your nausea remains mild. As u say u would do anything for a healthy baby, but it doesnt mean you will necessarily enjoy every symptom! Envy

Sultanajo · 17/05/2013 21:08

enjoying I went thru a rage stage quite early on! I remember yelling at a door because I hit my arm on the handle, followed by bursting into tears of frustration when two minutes later I stubbed my toe on the stairs!,Grin

enjoyingscience · 17/05/2013 21:23

sultana Love it! I took the chance to leave work early because I just knew I was going to shout at someone, and I'm terrible at hiding bad moods.

Thank you reminding me to take my vitamin though :)

Frizz1986 · 17/05/2013 21:36

Just a quick question for people....
Am supposed to be getting my roots done tomorrow at the hairdressers. Is it ok? Should I tell them I am pg so they can confirm it is safe?
Really not sure if I should postpone the hair dye or if ts nothing to worry about.

pizzaqueen · 17/05/2013 21:41

Enjoyingscience do you have a link to the other thread? And I love angel delight, not had it in years though, yum!

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 17/05/2013 21:45

Hi frizz - I just asked with DS. Was always told it was fine and just took that at face value. I'm not perhaps the best person to ask though as I'm fairly relaxed about stuff like that but I do understand it's can be a concern.

The NHS website said it was OK - although some people choose to wait until post 12 weeks. I'm too selfish!
