Well done, Humpty! :o

Morning all. DH works from home today, so I don't have to get up and drive him to the station at stupid o'clock, yet I've been wide awake for an hour :(

I have my 18 month-old nephew for a few hours this afternoon and I can't wait! DH is sad because he'll be at his mum's and miss him. That baby is the most beloved child there has ever been. We are obsessed with him and how cute he is!

LittlePeaPod · 15/05/2013 06:25

Yeeeeaaaaaaaa Congratulations Humpty

Chocco great to hear you sounding positive.

Sulatanajo & anyone else not sleeping hope you get some rest soon...

I have first MW appointment this morning at 9am. Smile Have a fabulous day ladies...

Thanks Gemma sleep found me about an hour before I had to get up.

Well, I am joining all you ladies with spotting this morning it would seem! The rational part of me is saying it's only light, only on wiping at the moment, it's brown and I am not majorly cramping at the moment, although I do have some pain (although not sure if that's constipation!!!). The other 95% is freaking out and trying not to yell "noooooooo" out of the window and collapse in a heap on the floor! The lack of sleep is not helping my emotional state this morning. Feck feck feck!

Looks like I may be booking an early scan at some point soon if this continues.

LittlePeaPod · 15/05/2013 07:22

Sultanajo sorry to hear that. Hope it clears ASAP.. Flowers

Sorry you're having a worrying time, sultana :(

SunnySentiments · 15/05/2013 07:43

Morning ladies!

Another one with a terrible nights sleep. Feel like a zombie this morning.

Choco glad you're feeling more positive now.

Sultana sorry about the spotting. Mine is still hanging around, wish it would just bugger off too!

Humpty congrats on passing! Well done!

Good luck at the MW appointment today Pea

Welcome to the new ladies with bfp. Always lovely to have more onboard Flowers

Sultanajo · 15/05/2013 07:45

Thanks Toby and Sunny. Meant to say - have fun today Pea! Just don't look at the niddles.... x

enjoyingscience · 15/05/2013 07:49

Congratulations Humpty! Being able to drive will be a lifesaver with a little one.

Well, I'm 5 weeks today, and my symptoms seems to have disappeared. Boobs much less sore, not so tired, not sick. Can someone please tell me to get a fecking grip and stop worrying please?!

Have booked a private scan for next Friday, which is really early, but we're hoping on holiday for a week next Sunday and I wanted to know that everything was in the right place before we went. Don't expect to see much, but would be nice to know if there was anything there at all!

BookTart · 15/05/2013 07:52

Nice work humpty, and hugs to gemma and sultana and choc. If is such a stressful time isn't it? I'm sure all is okay though :)

No sleep here again. I'm very upset at the moment, still no symptoms at all and I'm so worried about another mc. Also, I think I might have cystitis coming on - hurrah! Hopefully I'll perk up (or throw up) once I get to work.

Sultanajo · 15/05/2013 07:54

Enjoying my symptoms were very much coming and going at 5 weeks - I know how you are feeling - this morning I am also thinking "I don't feel as nauseous as I have - OMG" but like you I am trying to slap myself in the face and not overreact. It's so hard when it's something you so desperately want and there is very little you can do to control the outcome. ARghh, don't think I am helping you - better sign off and get to work!

BookTart · 15/05/2013 07:55

Sorry science, cross-posted. Sounds like we're in much the same boat at the mo. I hope you get to see your bean at the scan next week, you'll be six+ weeks then, so you might do!

chocoloulou33 · 15/05/2013 07:59

sultana sorry ur experiencing the same thing as me. Sucks doesn't it. Mines eased a little since last night so gonna see how it is 2day. Am trying to stay calm but like u said its easier said then done x

MrsHowardRoark · 15/05/2013 08:01

Hello all, this thread has moved on so quickly! I only went on holiday for a week Smile

I was booked on a girls holiday before I found out I was pregnant so I spent the last 5 days fake drinking.

Now I'm back looking after my DD and I'm absolutely exhausted.
I already feel guilty about how much this baby will change her life.

My DP also has a horrible stomach bug and I'm terrified of catching it. I should be helping him but instead he is confined to the spare room.

enjoyingscience · 15/05/2013 08:02

Thanks book, sultana. Hugs and slaps to the face all round eh. Sorry we're worrying about the same thing!

Flowers
MrsHowardRoark · 15/05/2013 08:04

Also, as an attempt to offer some small comfort, I had no nausea during my first pregnancy at all and it was about as textbook as a pregnancy gets.

extracrunchy · 15/05/2013 08:35

Hi all! Been lurking and catching up last couple of days. Scared to sympathise with all the ailments in case I'm imagining mine and there isn't actually a bean in the sac we saw. Humph.

Science - really hope you'll see yours at your scan as the worry is TORTUROUS if it's just too early (like mine, hopefully..!) and you have to wait a week to make sure all's well.

I'm sure the spotting's normal! Had it with DS who is now 2 and enormous Grin

MrsAVB · 15/05/2013 08:42

Morning all!
Hugs and to those of you having a worrying time.
to humpty. I have put off learning to drive and know that I need to bite the bullet. Am terrified though. Especially in London...

I am so fed up of vomming. After saying I was feeling better yesterday I vommed hourly from 5-11 last night and have vommed 3 times this morning. I'm resenting the time that vomming is taking up; doesn't bean know I have other things to be doing? I have to chair a meeting first thing this morning, and even with changing routine to allow for extra vomming time I still don't feel like I look my most professional. Sigh...
DH and I were talking names last night and he has terrible pretentious taste. I shall have to use all my feminine wiles to ensure bean does not end up with a name that screams BULLY ME!
Have a good day everyone!

Frizz1986 · 15/05/2013 08:51

Welcome to all the new bfps.
Congrats humpty
Good luck pea let me know how it goes . I have my mw this afternoon but have not been told anything re pee or blood so not sure what to expect.
Sorry to everyone worrying and feeling like crap. I hope to stay positive and everyone feels better and gets more sleep soon.

I think i have been getting more cramps over the past 24hrs but not sure if I am only noticing them more or what. It's on my mw question list tho and i guess what will be will be right so i need to stop worrying as my body has taken charge now!

sarahleanne · 15/05/2013 09:55

omg I cannot keep up with you ladies.apologies as I cannot remember everyones names but to those who are also not having early scans..i don't feel so left out now haha.

To the few ladies who are spotting...I had bright red blood with both my previous pregnancies and I really thought something was wrong but my boys now 5 and my girls 17 months so all was well in the end. I know its so hard but try not to worry, especially if it is only brown spotting.

I have bad kidney pains today (always suffer from uti's when pregnant)
:( waiting for doctor to ring so I can get in and see him today.on the plus side, I have booked my firs midwife appointment for 5th june so i'll be about 7 weeks then :)

I know this is a bit of a premature question, but have any of u thought about whether u r going to find out the sex yet? I found out on my first, kept it a suprise with my second and this time my husband wants to find out but im not too sure? im sure I pushed harder second time round cus I wanted to see what I had lol.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 15/05/2013 09:59

Morning all - I'm such a fanny. I kept looking at the bottom of the old thread, thinking "that's strange, wonder why it's reeeaaaaallyyy slowed down" and here you all are here!

Hope all well. I'm felling remarkably OK bar being exhausted. Hoping all is OK and trying to cast mind back to DS symptoms. I've been very good on the pee stick front. (No testing for 4 days now on ICs). As a reward, I'm treating myself to a clearblue on Thursday to see if the conception indicator has changed! Grin

frying - my first ICs for DS and for this pregnancy were that light. The one for this DC was so light I thought it was negative at first until the FRER came up. However, over the next week (extensive research Grin), the line started to get darker. From what I've seen on MN, a line is a line on the ICs so fingers crossed all is well.

I think we're going to go fr a private scan on 25 May as will be 7 weeks then but I might delay it a bit in to the next week just to be sure.

well done humpty Toot! Toot!
