We don't hate you kitty It's comforting to know that we're not the only ones :) The hormones are just the worst at the end! So glad that you're getting some mum and dad help!!

Bath sounds like a good idea. Kitty is right, if it's the real deal- a bath won't stop anything but it will help you relax so that it could progress more quickly. If it's aches and pains, it'll help you feel relaxed and slow things down.

Still have period cramps, and still a constant ache rather than anything obviously productive. (Do know the period cramps are doing something, but still)

kitty if you can't moan here where can you moan. And you sound close to the end.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 12/05/2013 19:25

Anyone else got that impatient pacing feeling? or is it just my anxiety

I think it's the same feeling I had last Monday. I'm going to go mad if I feel like this for the next 3 weeks.

kittykatsforever · 12/05/2013 19:47

But the end of what frus Wink
I hear you Hun, me and you are so close arnt we only 2 days between due dates, I swear my body is only built for 37wk babies it feels like its trying to push its way out but at the same time I couldn't say I feel it's imminent iyswim
Bloody hormones! Oh and mums starting every morning convo with its not started yet...... No mum as I need you to have dd I guess not!!

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 12/05/2013 20:44

Oh how frustrating kitty. I'm ignoring my mum, but she's not directly asking yet might have something to do with not giving her an actual date it must be so much more frustrating when it's someone that will be top of the call list before baby is born.

Aren't you supposed to get all tears and hormonal before labour? actually I have no idea. Wink

I bet you're all going to beat me and have snuggly babies and I'll still be here in 5weeks feeling huge and Envy.

kittykatsforever · 12/05/2013 20:48

As official most pregnant on the thread at the moment I do reserve the right to have baby first if not I may have to go on a killing spree
Frus not sure if the hormonal is a sign wasn't last time but as it works in my favour this time I'm going to say yes please Grin

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 12/05/2013 20:54

What's your date kitty? I can't remember.

Jojobump1986 · 12/05/2013 20:55

for kitty!

I get that impatient feeling too Frus. Especially at night when I'm lying in bed but not falling asleep. I feel like a caged animal half the time. That usually culminates in me feeling so frustrated that I burst into tears for no apparent reason! Blush I nearly cried earlier because we ran out of baking powder. Bicarb did the job perfectly well but it wasn't right! I nearly sent DH to the shop to get more but he'd only just got back from buying the eggs I'd forgotten to put on the list. I was so on edge anyway that I had to try really hard to stop myself declaring that dinner was ruined & just going to bed! Hormones are ridiculous!

I didn't get a proper nap this afternoon. I wanted to do a couple of things first & then DS woke up early & crying & I had to look after him while DH did a few things. I did fall asleep on the sofa for 10 mins while supposedly supervising him but now I feel like I haven't slept for days!

I'm also getting period pains & being poked in several places. I mentioned this to DH & his first response was a super helpful comment about what it must be like with twins! Hmm I'm getting heartburn & seemingly endless BHs too. I just want it to be over already! That said, I'm going to miss being pregnant when it's over! Confused

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 12/05/2013 21:02

Up until about 2 weeks ago, I think I quite liked the bump, I'm just so tired now.
A bit like being back at school at the end of the summer holidays, when you've had a great time, but know you have to go back to school, and secretly you're bored and want to see your friends.

(How's that for a random simile?)

kittykatsforever · 12/05/2013 21:03

29th may frus 2 days before you no?
Thanks Jojo
Also tmi but just had bout of dioreah I know that's a "sign" but also as have felt yucky for the last few days could be a "sign" for bug also
Baby's head feels so low though that its actually between legs yes I'm sure I'm exaggerating but actually uncomfy to sit up even on the toilet!
Mind it's pretty uncomfy to do anything at the mo, sorry you've got the hormone attack too Jojo Hmm

kittykatsforever · 12/05/2013 21:04

Oh but if I went into labour tonight it would be reminiciant dds birth, dh on nights on my own lol

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 12/05/2013 21:19

Yeah, you're ahead of me. I will try not to get too Envy if you pop before me.

Maybe we've got an attack of the impatient hormones, and have weeks to go, despite all of our symptoms? It's like the 2ww all over again...
I got all excited earlier because I thought I had a twinge that made me say ouch, and then it happened again, and I realised that I was just being punched v hard in the bladder. Blush you'd think that by dc3 I might know the difference between labour and a punch. Grin

jojo it's like a caged tiger pacing.

Jojobump1986 · 12/05/2013 21:42

I've given up on life! I went through the caged-animal phase earlier & have now collapsed on the sofa with ice cream. DH has had to take over my bread making duties which I usually love to do. I don't want him to do it but he'll have nothing for lunch tomorrow if he doesn't! I'm still sulking though. Bread is my thing & his won't be as good & he keeps wandering into the room checking the instructions I just gave him. He's planning to use the Kenwood to knead the dough for precisely 5 minutes. It should be done by hand until it feels right. Troglodyte. If he 'checks' one more instruction within 2 minutes of being told what he should be doing then I might throw something at him. The only thing within reach is my ice cream though & I need that! Grrrrrrr! I'm beginning to feel caged again! Probably the sugar in the ice cream kicking in! Blush

Jojobump1986 · 12/05/2013 21:59

For goodness sake! He's not even bothered to look at the recipe I've carefully written out in my book, he's just wandering in & out asking what to do next! I'd told him to use 150ml of the water for getting the yeast going & now somehow it's my fault that he didn't know that there needed to be a total of 300ml! Am I a walking recipe book now as well as an incubator for his spawn?!

He just summoned me because he wasn't sure what it was supposed to look like... It reminds me of lumpy wallpaper paste. Why he can't just buy something for lunch on his way in is beyond me! Angry

Jojobump1986 · 12/05/2013 22:19

I'm in bed now & Mr Wallpaper-Paste is under strict instructions not to bother me so I might calm down now! Blush I'll probably crash in a few minutes after the sugar rush & hopefully I can get to sleep before I start feeling caged again! This is all reminding me of when I had depression & felt slightly unhinged most of the time! I just want to feel normal again! Hmph!

bringonthetrumpets · 12/05/2013 23:33

Lol, oh jo that SO sounds exactly like what dh would be like if I asked him to make something for me instead of me cooking it. I get so frustrated b/c it's like if I wanted to go over all of the instructions on how to do it, I would have just done it myself! Use your brain and figure the damn thing out yourself old man.

Frus I'm feeling your pain (literally) Walking around is not comfortable and I definitely was waddling around the baseball stadium after dh paraded us around determined to find better seats, which didn't happen as we still froze our asses off

Have you tried doing some yoga with the caged animal feeling at all? Just a few in and out breaths combined with simple stretching or moving around might help. Or even just doing some intentional breathing exercises can help settle the feeling too. Hope your evening went better after you were able to get away for a bit.

I can't sleep Sad My tummy hurts.

bringonthetrumpets · 13/05/2013 02:02

Sad sorry Frus.

OP posts:
Jojobump1986 · 13/05/2013 04:06

I can't sleep. My tummy hurts every time I lay down & when I sit up I burp! Blush Rennies & sips of water for me!

Hope you're sound asleep now Frus... Well, that or in labour! Wink

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 13/05/2013 05:13

Morning jojo I've decided to get up. I've "slept" v fitfully all night, actually I don't think I've had more than an hour at a stretch, if that the period cramp feeling has got worse, and is going into my lower back. And despite paracetamol not having a good effect on me, I've had some calpol. And am considering waking up the entire house by having a bath. would that be too selfish?
And despite the fact that I don't know if I am in labour or not, as I haven't been timing for patterns, I think I might tell DH to stay home today, because at least then I can get him to take me up maternity later, and they can hook me up and monitor whether I am having contractions or not. --or whether I just have endo period cramps from hell. Which is how I feel at the moment. Ugh.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 13/05/2013 06:28

Well the bath didn't do anything.

kittykatsforever · 13/05/2013 06:45

No baby made an appearance for me overnight either Hmm lol
I did had a reasonable nights sleep though but probably because I've got the bed to myself!
Sorry to hear you havnt frus Hmm that's what my nights have been like recently, maybe it would be best to get checked out
Jojo there's no way my dh would have attempted making bread when he could drive to the shop, typical bloke though not reading instructions then it being your faultAngry
Bring did you manage to have any treat for Mother's Day that was actually a treat and something nice??

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 13/05/2013 07:11

Ooh it's back into the back. Just gonna wait until the triage opens, and phone them.
I've sent DH to work. It's not as though he can't come home if I need him to.

Glad you finally slept okay kitty

Jojobump1986 · 13/05/2013 08:10

Really hoping this is the beginning of labour for you Frus! It's one thing to be in pain during labour but it just seems cruel for you to be in pain when it's not actually encouraging the baby out! Sad

After being specifically told not to bother me, Mr Wallpaper-Paste came up to tell me that the bread was cooking too fast & then again when it was out to let me know it was bumpy on the top! Hmm I managed to avoid throwing things at him... just!

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 13/05/2013 08:33

Did you manage to refrain from throttling him jojo or should we start planning your defence case?

Period like cramps have vanished. Which is probably just as we'll because they were annoying me. Just irregular pains now.
Something is happening, I just don't know what. lol
Guess I'm going to have another false alarm Monday.
