Oh I can't keep my dds off mine. Although dd's occupational therapist always brings one out at her appointments, so it's got 2 uses.

This little guy seems to be popping in and out today, definately high this morning, but seems to have dropped back down again now. What is he playing at? Think he might be backing up for a running start...
At least I can be certain that he will be out within the next 5 weeks.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 10/05/2013 18:06

Aaaahhh Angry if dH asks me one more time of I've had any niggles I think I might actually kill him.

kittykatsforever · 10/05/2013 18:40

Mine is the same frus, was definatly lower after aqua natal felt quite uncomfy low then seems to have risen again
Grin At libs belly button, did it just go pop?! Mine is too deep to pop out but the old piercing hole that was in it is now an inch below Shock yes if really is that deep!!

kittykatsforever · 10/05/2013 18:44

Angry Yes dh desperate for me to save him from tonight's late shift!
He and my sister drove me mad by ringing alternate house and mobile earlier - why? because I didn't answer - why? Because I was trying to have a nap before picking dd up!!!
AngryAngryAngry They thought something might have happened ( I'm really not sure what they thought could happen to me? If I went into labour I'm sure I'd have time to make one phonecall!)

bringonthetrumpets · 10/05/2013 18:58

Oh man, and so the phone calls have begun! My mum called last night and just said "So, how are you?" Fine mum, I haven't had the baby and forgot to tell you, pay attention woman, I'm not due for another 5 weeks! I'm actually due the same day my sister is graduating from high school, so I'm sure my mom would know that day at least. Even the cleaning lady called DH this morning to check to see if she would see a baby when same came around today (she only comes once a month, so I guess I can forgive her). I would be pretty livid to have all those people calling you in the middle of a nap! That's a good way to really piss off a pregnant woman....

Hahaha I can't believe your notDh is asking you if you're going into labor, frus. Wouldn't they be the last ones to be paying that much attention?

Getting rib kicks atm. Super fun. DH was actually being very dear today after he saw that my boys have sucked (and licked clean) my patience cup today and offered to take them out for cheeseburgers. He's got a slight cold that's left his voice useless so working as a salesman on the phone isn't going well for him today, but man I'm loving it! 1 whole hr to re-fill my cup in preparation for the afternoon. Love that guy most of the time

So the award for best dh of the day goes to bring! It's so nice when you get an unexpected break
Yes I was pretty livid with the rings - ill add it was one after another as soon as it stoped it started again until I gave in and got up so no shut eye at all and back to having dd all day on my own over the weekend Hmmplus to make matters worse dd hasn't had a nap at nursery ( this is my 2 hour little girl) so when I picked her up was falling asleep repeatedly at 5:30 and crying because I was trying to keep her awake had to put her to bed without a bath in the end

bringonthetrumpets · 10/05/2013 23:12

Oh man. It's so hard to keep a crabby kid awake so that you can put them to bed at a normal time. Not fun! Hope the weekend goes ok for you.

Boo hiss to people phoning incessantly, are they just a bit stupid?

I particularly hate phones. My answer phone message is basically 'Don't leave me a message cos I won't call you back'. I'm going to unplug the phone, and the doorbell too.

Woken up pretty grumpy today. Supposed to be going to preggo Yoga then for a swim but I'm feeling so lazy, however I know if I go, I'll feel better. Can't decide anything at the moment.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 11/05/2013 07:17

I'm not getting phone calls yet, but that might have been helped by not giving anyone an exact date Grin my mum keeps sending random texts which is winding my up just as much, I'm sure she's playing the "not directly asking" game.

kittykatsforever · 11/05/2013 08:01

Lib i hate phones aswell, hate having to speak to people, im definatly a texter! id go the class, you always do feel better after!
Didn't fall asleep till 2 again dd up at 6 feeling really blue today, can't describe but really not myself at all, feel like I'm just a moaning Minnie at the moment Hmm

Librarina · 11/05/2013 08:14

If you're a moaning Minnie kitty then I'm one too. Just found out (thanks to a late night email from a colleage) that work have messed up my Mat leave cover. I'd originally planned to finish yesterday, but they didn't get round to advertising my job (only internally), so candidates were interviewed yesterday. So I agreed to stay on until Monday so I could briefly hand over to the new person. I found out who got the job and they are very good and I'm happy to leave things in their hands.

It turns out (at 4pm on Friday) that someone was left out off the global email which advertised my post, they want to go for it so the whole recruitment process has to be done again. It's ridiculous.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 11/05/2013 08:22

Oh that's shit lib

kittykatsforever · 11/05/2013 09:14

That's rediculous!
Well it's not your problem lib, don't feel obliged to stay as who knows how long it will take and it's not your fault, you can always go in for a couple of days at a later date as a keep in touch day but only if you want to!!

Jojobump1986 · 11/05/2013 11:02

Definitely not your problem Lib. Don't let them convince you to stay longer. You deserve a rest. They'll figure it out!

I'm in soooo much pain! I stupidly carried DS from the car park to the assessment unit for the scan yesterday while marching as quickly as I could. I was surprised that it didn't make me feel bad at the time but now my pelvis feels broken & my back is aching! I was convinced I was going into labour last night. I could actually feel where DS2 was pressing against my pelvic bone & it was agony every time he squirmed! Duvet day today I think! DH is going to take DS out for a walk this morning so I can rest. So not getting out of bed!

bringonthetrumpets · 11/05/2013 14:29

Ooh that sounds frustrating Lib! Work politics....

Have you tried a heating pad or hot water bottle on the sore area at all Jo? Maybe see if DH could give you a massage? Nice that he's getting the little one out of the house for a bit so you can rest. Hope it feels better soon for you! Sad

Oh just managed a little nap thank god in heaven, felt so sick all day just really nauseous, < prays I'm not tossing and turning all night >

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 11/05/2013 21:44

Glad you managed a nap kitty

I do hope I'm not tossing and turning all night, I'm so tired, and now I'm lying down I'm being beaten up too. This little one is practicing karate by the feel of it. mind you he could well be an octopus

Night ladies.

bringonthetrumpets · 12/05/2013 12:14

Urgh. Sleeping past 4:45 am just wasn't on the agenda for today didn't help that dh was snoring like a hog and had really bad breath. Today is going to be a really long day....Dh is working on our USA version of Mother's Day (thanks hun) so I've got the boys until midday. Then we are heading to the Twins baseball game in the freezing cold and windy weather. Hips are sore from sleeping on them despite the acupuncture I got last week (which worked for a little while) and if I get 1 comment about my belly, due date, or # of children today I might either deck them or start crying probably both.

Hope you all are having a better weekend than me!

OP posts:
FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 12/05/2013 13:23

I dont think i can beat that bring I actually slept okay, DH didn't since i was apparantly the one snoring Grin

Dd2 is being a stroppy pants as per normal and is seeing how far she can push her luck.
I have period cramps.
But I do have a nice stash of icelollys in the freezer, so all is not bleak.

Oh and my hands smell very strongly of rosemary.
I tidied up the bush/tree/jungle that was our rather large rosemary bush. It was a tiny cutting that we pilfered from a public flower bed somewhere about 5 years ago, and before I attacked it it was taking up a space well over a metre squared. I dont feel at all guilty for massacring it since its very hardy, and nothing seems to knock it back.
But boy do I stink of the stuff now. I'd better be careful I'm not mistaken for a lamb roast.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 12/05/2013 13:24

Ps, bring you definitely need to take over the space you have your eye on for herbs and flowers.

bringonthetrumpets · 12/05/2013 15:15

ooooOooh period cramps are exciting!

I do have the plot all confirmed and DH knows he's gotta do some digging today after the game Grin. There are some old plants that need some back put into to get out so I'm out of that job!

Both boys are DOING MY HEAD IN. Fighting with each other, tattling on each other when one of them eventually gets hurt, not listening, complaining, whining, Happy Mother's Day to me

OP posts:
FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 12/05/2013 15:40

Bring you need to put them in a warm bath with a bubble blowing machine. Mine will stay put for at least an hour now. Grin

Cramps would be exciting if it wasn't the 3rd day of it, and constant rather than regular although I am currently feeling a rather odd twingey feeling in my fanjo.

If you didn't have dodgy hips bring I'd say get digging. but saying that despite my escapades in the garden, nothing in mine has required any digging, and planting out pots doesn't count when you can did the hole by hand.

FrustratedSycamoresRocks · 12/05/2013 15:59

Actually starting to feel a bit more like my "normal" period cramps now. I have endometriosis, and usually have lovely strong pain killers

Might kick the dds out of the bath. Oh I wish I could take paracetamol. (Stuffing allergy Angry ) If I have a bath will it stop everything again? I don't want to stop things if they are starting.

kittykatsforever · 12/05/2013 17:20

If they are starting I don't think anything will stop it frus, if it is just general aches and pains better to be without them!
Mum and dad have been my saviour today, dh not in from work till 7am then in again at 6 so I've dd all day on my own and still feel sicky and headachey, was sick at miday but they took her out for a few hours for me to rest, so grateful to then as felt so blue again today, cried last night because there was a little girl who looked like I'd imagine dd to in a few years ( yes that's all) then crying this morning because goodness know why? Just feeling so emotional which isn't like me at all I'm not a cryer ever really, anyway I hope it lifts because I feel really useless at the moment, a bad mother and frustrated that I can't get everything I want done went to bed at 7:30 last night without tea, again not like me.... It's like morning sickness all over I've still had pains in fanjo and head feel very low and uncomfy ( realising just how good I had it last time Hmm)
Please block me so I don't make you all hate me with my moans before its too late
