elliepippamummy · 30/05/2006 17:58

Mitchmatch so sory to hear your news hope you fel better very very soon.

Flubberty gibbert what date are you due as I a 7+4 and I have a DD who is 20 months so looks like we'll have the same age gap, how are you feeling about it? My daughter is great but such hard work as she wants to be entertained all the time decied I've got till Xmas to do potty training, get rid of the dummy (only has it at nap/sleep time) and persuade her to actually stay in her bed all night as currently appears in ours around 3ish!!!

lisavb · 30/05/2006 18:01

Really sorry to read your sad news Mitch Match. I have been through one ectopic and one mc - it's hard - and the only healer is time, and the love of your family and friends.

Take good care xxx

flibertygibbet · 30/05/2006 18:11

Hi there epmummy, not very sure on date yet but roughly 10th Jan.

I'm thinking along the same lines as you about DD but not sure if it's a bit early to potty train. I'm hoping she'll be ready sometime in the summer.

I was really excited about the baby until Sunday when I had a small bleed Sad. I went to get checked over & they think I might be OK but it was BH Sunday so I couldn't be scanned. I'm now booked in for a scan tomorrow afternoon.

I can't really get excited at the moment as I can't stop worrying. Reading how so many of you have had scares and then been OK helps but I can't shake off the worry. Sad

elliepippamummy · 30/05/2006 18:16

FG hope all goes well tomorrow I had sligt bleed at 5+4 and had my early scan last week all was fine thank god, extra paranoid this time as pregnancy with DD was text book (until the end when she was breech!) and then had m/c in feb and had bleeding and aching with is one!!

I'll check in tomrrow to see how your scan went xx

Dragonhart · 30/05/2006 18:57

So sorry mitchmatch. Sending lots of love through the net. :(

Loubie37 · 31/05/2006 08:21

Good luck for your scan this afternoon FG, hope it goes well :)

Loubie xx
6+4

MerlinsBeard · 31/05/2006 10:39

thinking of you today FG, let us know how it goes.

How is everyone else doing?

Got my appt for scan (finally) can go to epu at 9:30 2mo. Will know one way or the other then.

becks5109 · 31/05/2006 11:27

I had my dr's appointment this morning - told him about the spotting (well little blood when wiping) and he didn't seem at all concerned. He did a preg. test just to check and it was positive so he says all should be well. I woke up this morning and felt totally unpregnant as sore boobs and feeling sick had gone but now i've been to the dr's I feel a bit more positive so must try to stay that way! He's sent off the referral to the hospital for booking in scan but said they are very overloaded down there and short on midwives so if I don't get a date through in the next couple of weeks to call them and chase. I'm going to book a private scan as well as want to have a nuchal and triple bloods done at the same time. I mentioned home birthing to him and he told me he's not very keen (he used to be in obstetrics) but said if I really want one should only do it if the hospital can guarantee to send out 2 senior midwives so we'll see what they say. So about 5 long week to wait till my scan as I'm 7 weeks today. Hope everyone else is doing okay.

elliepippamummy · 31/05/2006 11:34

Had my booking in with midwife today shes seems very nice there are two at my surgery (very busy surgery!!) so should see her or the other one throughout my pg. Shes sent off form for 12 week scan and took some blood today to test for stuff (wasn't really sure why as last time didn't want any until 16 wks!) Tried to persuade me to have normal delivery but I really want another section so shes booked me in o see consultant after 12week scan so "I can discuss the options" I know what I want and will be sticking to it!!!! No more appts till July now which is all a bit boring but at least it feels official!!
xx

laughalot · 31/05/2006 13:34

Hi ellipip when are you due im the 10 th jan I have a little boy who is 22 months im going to stsrt the pottything after our hols. He has a dummy for nap times.

MitchMatch · 31/05/2006 13:38

Hi Guys, just wanted to thank you all for your lovely messages of support, they've really helped over the last couple of days. Am feeling much better today and I'm ready to get on with things again. Thanks again and take care of yourselves.

RnB · 31/05/2006 13:48

Really sorry Mitchmatch :( I hope you recover soon x

MerlinsBeard · 31/05/2006 16:39

FG, how did things go?

Hattie2 · 31/05/2006 16:40

Hi all - got my scan and booking in dates for 29th June ... ages to wait!

Pleased to see there's now a 'Due in Feb 2007' thread, makes me feel like we're getting somewhere at least when we're not the newbies anymore!

Hope everyone's OK today x

elliepippamummy · 31/05/2006 17:50

Laughalot - I'm due 15th jan according to the wheel thing I made it the 13th hopefully I'll get my section therefore have it aroud 38weeks although last time I persuaded the consultant to let me go to 39+4 as the day he wanted to do it was my mums 50th birthday and they were away for the weekend!!

Potty training commeneces after our hols to DD doesn't like wearing a nappy andsends most of her day taking it off so hopethats a sign started to show her where the potty is and putting her on ot before bath time alhough she sits on it claps herself gets in the bath and then does the wee!!

MerlinsBeard · 31/05/2006 20:11

LTH...how r u today? stll having pains?

Hope everything is ok

What a scarey thread this has turned out to be!

flibertygibbet · 31/05/2006 20:14

Huge relief, scan was OK and we saw a heartbeat Grin. They couldn't see a reason for the bleed and cramps and thought maybe it was an implantation bleed. Phew!

This is the first chance I've had to log on as DD is being very demanding at the moment, I think she knows that something is going on!

They also said it looks like I'm 6+4 instead of 8 weeks tomorrow but they are sticking with my 10th Jan due date until my dating scan as it's hard to tell so early on. From my perspective I look more like 18 weeks! (where does it all come from?)

Hope everyone else is well today.

MerlinsBeard · 31/05/2006 20:15

Glad u had good news flibberty :)

Cross ur lucky fingers for me tomorrow!!

flibertygibbet · 31/05/2006 20:24

Just read the good luck messages from this morning, thanks very much Blush. Unfortunately I couldn't log in before work so I had missed them, lovely to read them now though.

Sending the same out to you all and particularly MOM, so glad you have a scan booked at last. Lucky fingers are well and truly crossed!
