OMG I feel amazing today. We even managed to venture out to look at buggies in John Lewis. This is the first Saturday I haven't felt like death!

Umlauf you must be really pleased for them. Fingers crossed for a smooth 9 months. I think being pregnant after IVF is terrifying. I'm so worried that perhaps I 'wasn't meant to be pregnant' that something will go wrong. I worry that even thinking the baby actually being here will jinx it. Am hoping that after my scan on Monday I might feel less psycho about it all'

Just a quick one noticed while shopping online mamas and papas have a huge 50% off sale which includes some great pushchair deals!

My DH is away for a job interview this afternoon I hope so much he will get the job will make preparing for the baby so much easier!! I also noticed mother care has 3 for 2 on feeding and changing stuff!!

DH took me out for lunch today. I ordered a prawn mayonnaise sandwich and then had a sudden panic on that I shouldn't be eating prawns or mayonnaise without knowing how it is prepared. The lady was just finishing up the sandwich when I interrupted her and explained my situation... She was very understanding and made me a ham salad sandwich instead! It probably would have been fine, but I didn't want to risk it!

I can't wait until after my scan on Thursday! If everything is going ok in there then I will be straight on all of the baby websites looking at cots, prams, clothing, nappies... And whatever else I can think of!

Lovely news roofio. I'm busy making caramel shortcake with the kids. Perhaps I should have something proper to eat though before I start on the rubbish.

Just got back from my booking apointment which went well - nice midwife and well prepared from hearing from others what would happen. So much Bounty pack bumf - is anyone going to sign up for the free stuff or is it just a load of marketing for life?

I didn't bother with any of the Bounty stuff as it looks like an excuse for never ending junk mail to me.

Just found out that DH's nan has been telling everyone that we're expecting as his mum has had a few 'congratulations' phone calls. FFS! We're still two weeks off the scan! So annoyed.

Tarlia it wasn't that yum actually. The base was undercooked. Kids not complaining though. My gang are 3 girls aged 4,10 and 11 and a boy who's 12.

Aww falcon I'm sure you'll be a great mum. All kids need really is to be loved and fed.
