Will this one take us through to the end of the first trimester? Will the sickness ever end? Will we be able to judge genders from those first scan pictures? These and many other mysteries to be solved in... THREAD 4

haylebop My DD (2!) starts school in September as well and I was discussing with DH whether to leave a bit earlier than I would normally so I can settle her in.

Flyer747 · 20/03/2013 18:26

Sal, yeah I also have quite a bit of as you put it mucus..lush hey!

Umlauf, god the back sounds awful. My sister has scoliosis too and it often causes her bad backs etc so I can only imagine it must get a lot worse in pregnancy.

ldt87 · 20/03/2013 20:13

Hi everyone just wanted to mark my place on the thread. How is everyone feeling? I am 8 weeks today if my dates are right. 2 weeks until I see the midwife and no scan date as of yet. It all seems miles away and sometimes when my symptoms go i worry I'll go to my scan and there will be nothing there, like I've imagined it all! God knows why I think like that. I wish I had some sort of confirmation if that makes sense. I can't see me getting an early scan when I'm not with a midwife until 10 weeks.

Does anyone have really painful boobs? Mine have been sore all along but now they are agony and rock hard!

roofio87 · 20/03/2013 20:24

ldt87 my referral for scan didn't go through until I was 10+3 and its still going to be bang on 12 weeks so you might not get a date too late on!! This waiting malarky really is tough
don't know how I'm going to do another 29 weeks!! Confused

CelticPromise · 20/03/2013 20:34

Hello. Afraid I'm out. Had a bit of cramping and bleeding so went to EPU today and scan showed baby died about two weeks ago. I hope I'll be back on a bus soon. I wish you all long and boring pregnancies.

Natalieand · 20/03/2013 21:17

Now I'm feeling anxious that I may have tempted fate. Ordered my bridesmaid dress for sisters wedding as today was last day we could order for it to come in on time but I ordered the maternity one. Do u Think I shouldn't have ordered it now I'm panicking what if I'm tempting fate and shouldn't have ordered maternity

pinksky · 20/03/2013 21:20

Celtic I'm so sorry to hear this--take good care of yourself XX

SeriousStuff · 20/03/2013 21:23

Natalieand I have regular moments of worrying that I've jinxed things, but take a step back and tell yourself that ordering that dress won't harm your baby (it's easier to tell other people this than yourself).

I told work today, now that was jinxed-enduced panic right there as I'm not quite 12 weeks yet...

cazboldy · 20/03/2013 21:27

So sorry Celtic Sad

6 days til scan.........

why oh why do i still feel the need to POAS just to make sure!!!???? Blush

Sal1977 · 20/03/2013 21:30

How rubbish Celtic! Life is shit sometimes eh? Good luck lovely. X

Natalie, I have bought a maternity wedding dress for our wedding in June. It arrived, I put it on over my clothes, took it off, put it back in the box and there it will stay for the next few weeks! Same reason, I don't want to tempt fate. I bought it because it was the one I wanted but half the price on eBay in my size...couldn't let it go!!

Have a lookie lookie...wedding dress

Haylebop12 · 20/03/2013 21:32

Back from work and ready for bed I did manage all 8 hours though which I didn't think I would!
