Schro - lost over a stone??!! That makes me feel much better about not having gained any weight according to my scales as home, although I've stopped running now, so I'm sure I'll catch up with the weight gain soon.

McKTastic · 13/04/2013 19:23

Am still lurking!
Congratulations Supershiv - wow! Thinking of all three of you x

paolocee · 13/04/2013 21:09

No bump and you've lost a stone, Schro? Bleedin' hell, that's impressive. My OH is quite dinky and her bump more or less doubles her size. The bump is VAST. It has its own ecosystem.
Yes, twins very expensive. Very. But Sweden has a great parental benefits system which they encourage you to use.

emblosion · 13/04/2013 21:53

Good grief shiv you must have been terrified, what a shock for you! but welcome to the world baby Oliver and huge congratulations to you and your dh. I'm sure they are taking good care of him in NICU - you all hang in there xxx

orange was there talk of a facebook group? I'll be up for that - hopefully can contribute a bit more frequently too, as I tend to check into facebook quite a lot :)

This thread dropped off my I'm on list so I've not been back for a while, how is everyone doing?

Not much to report at this end, me & ds both had norovirus (bleurg) but better now. Bump huuuge already, am feeling ok tho really. Third trimester already - Shivs news has really made me realise we're not prepared for new baby AT ALL. Eek.

notprincesskate · 14/04/2013 07:54

Just popping in to say thoughts and prayers are with shiv and family at this time, hoping Oliver get bigger and stronger everyday and what an stressful/ amazing entry, go your DH.
Will catch up properly later.

photographerlady · 14/04/2013 10:10

Morning all. Hope the evening went well for shiv my DH and I have been thinking about her family all night.

iclaudius · 14/04/2013 11:40

Thinking of shiv and dh and baby Oliver . Lots of love x

wifey6 · 14/04/2013 11:44

Shiv...Congratulations...thoughts & prayers are with you & baby Oliver. Everyday he will grow stronger.

MightBeMad · 14/04/2013 12:01

Shiv, how are you and Oliver today?

Guavasforbreakfast · 14/04/2013 12:36

You're in our thoughts too shiv; OH is in awe at your DH. I can't get over how brave you two must have been. Definitely an exciting story for little Oliver as he grows bigger and stronger Smile

SchroSawMargeryDaw · 14/04/2013 12:46

Hoping Shiv and family are okay. x

Totally Obviously family are a bit Confused about it and my GP seemed a bit worried, uterus is apparently the right size though, it seems to be gastro problems causing it. Gah! Impressive that you're doing okay and have managed to dodge putting any weight on though!

Paolo It's good that Sweden have good parental benefits. :) At least that's something when you have 2! I don't think there would be any bump avoidance when you are carrying 2! With DS, he liked to lie in my back so i this one is anything alike then that could be partly to do with it.

PhieEl06 · 14/04/2013 17:21

Just checking in today, shiv OH & I are thinking of your family, we hope baby Oliver is okay!
Hope everyone else is doing good too!!

elliejjtiny · 14/04/2013 17:56

Congratulations shiv. You must have been terrified but you and your DH did a fantastic job.

I had my 4d scan on friday. The private clinic was very different from the NHS hospital we are used to. The cleft measures 9mm at the moment which is a bit less than they were expecting. Severus is gorgeous and all my worries about how he would look went away as soon as I saw him/her. So glad we did this. I got loads of pictures too.

elliejjtiny · 14/04/2013 17:56

Forgot to add baby weighs 2lb 9oz.

28+2

MightBeMad · 14/04/2013 18:07

Ellie so glad to hear you had a good scan Smile

Cheeseandbread · 14/04/2013 18:11

Shiv just wanted to let you know that I've been thinking about you and little Oliver. I hope he is gaining in strength.

Ellie really glad your 4d scan went well. Little Severus sounds like he/she is coming along nicely.

Runswithsquirrels · 14/04/2013 18:19

I want cheese and bread now. Everytime I see your name!!!

VinegarDrinker · 14/04/2013 18:35

Thinking of you all, shiv

Cheeseandbread · 14/04/2013 18:49

Runs I went for dinner with friends last night and the brought out some Epoises sp! Cheese at the end- really wanted some! I've told DH that after I've given birth I want champagne and yummy cheese!

Cheeseandbread · 14/04/2013 18:54

Quick question sorry if TMI... Does anyone else feel heavy and full down below in lady area? Almost so that it feels uncomfortable when you pee? I don't mean hurts like a UTI but sort of like there is less room for pee to get out... ?

Hope everyone has had good weekends x

Cheeseandbread · 14/04/2013 18:55

Dr google wasn't very helpful...

Twinklestarstwinklestars · 14/04/2013 19:04

Cheeseandbread yes I do, was wondering whether it was worth worrying about, think its just baby pressing down as it gets heavier but sometimes it does feel very low!

Thinkingof4 · 14/04/2013 19:09

shiv been thinking about you and family all day. Hope Oliver's first night went ok and that you are coping ok with the shock of it all x

Thinkingof4 · 14/04/2013 19:12

cheese I often have vv uncomfy feeling down there when I need to pee, esp if I've forgotten to go for a while Blush
I end up doubled over while making my way to loo, then am fine again straight after. Don't know if that's what you mean? I get similar feeling if I sit in one position for too long

MightBeMad · 14/04/2013 19:15

Cheese yes, I do. I think in my case it's all the pressure on my pelvic floor. I notice it gets worse if I've been a bit lax with my exercises for a day or two Blush
