So sorry to hear your news ncs take care of yourself.

Morning all. Not feeling sick this morning, touch wood!

MotherOfCleo · 20/03/2013 09:03

up at 5.30 to pee and then couldnt sleep as felt sick Sad

Grrrr, today may be a long day Hmm

JBrd · 20/03/2013 09:27

Argh, the flippin' cat was sick this morning at 4am! And of course, DH always sleeps through things like this, grrrr. Not my idea idea of fun, having to get up in the middle of the night to clean up cat puke and chasing the cat around and away from our new9(ish) carpets.

It's going to be a looooonnnnggg day...

louby86 · 20/03/2013 10:24

I'm sure my boobs have grown overnight. Got horrible acid that I only had at the end of my last pregnancy so hoping it doesn't stick around the whole time. Been to boots to get my folic acid/vitamin D. On day off from work today and I've had a conference call cancelled so hoping to spend the day doing not much at all!

Lozcat86 · 20/03/2013 10:30

hi ladies, went back to work yesterday after a week of annual leave and i wa shattered. after getting up at 5.30 and not getting home until 10.30.... Shock
feel pretty rubbish today quite sicky and a headache. Im supposed to be going to a workshop for work tomorrow in the city...not sure i can face it. Will it be terrible to phone in the morning and plead sickness? Smile

OneLittleToddleTerror · 20/03/2013 10:31

I'm hoping to not do much either as I'm just soooo tired. But alas, I'm here at work Sad. I'm already looking forward to my maternity leave. I'm planning to start at 37 weeks, but use my 3 weeks left before. I worked till 37 weeks last time, so 34 weeks would be nice.

Anyone else already dreaming about maternity leave so she could sleep all day?

OneLittleToddleTerror · 20/03/2013 10:35

lozcat I'm not sure what I would do if I were you. I can't remember first trimester being bad last time around. The midwife said it is normal because I now have a toddler to look after so less chance of having my feet up. Last time in my third trimester, I was so unproductive at work. I was falling asleep at my desk all the time. That's why I'm soldiering on now, hoping to have more leave to use for the later stages of pregnancy.

MummaPanda · 20/03/2013 10:37

I'm on maternity leave now but no sleep for me!! Envy

Ah mammapanda but my cunning plan is to keep DD in nursery till about a month after the birth. So it would be me only in the house. There will be no peace if DD is at home.

SpanishLady · 20/03/2013 10:40

wanted to add my best wishes to NCSmummy and to say I am so sorry too.

Any improvement Honey?

Turned into a smoked salmon yet Harv?! Lol

MotherOfCleo · 20/03/2013 11:12

my boobs are so painful, they've already grown one cup size and now seem to be getting bigger again....should I be worried as Im only 7weeks? Hmm Blush The sides now really hurt to touch, even crossing my arms hurts Sad any ideas, is this normal?

OneLittleToddleTerror · 20/03/2013 11:21

motherofcleo are you wearing old underwired bras? It's normal for your breasts to grow several different sizes during pregnancy. It might be your pain is caused by bras that are too small. Most maternity bras are non wired, but there are some expensive wired ones if you need the support. I think it might be time for you to get some new underwear Grin

OneLittleToddleTerror · 20/03/2013 11:22

By the way, being skint and small b

OneLittleToddleTerror · 20/03/2013 11:23

Darn phone.

Small chested, I got some maternity sleep/sports bra type last time. They cover more cup sizes that normal bras.

artyone · 20/03/2013 11:25

morning all,

Just back from a job interview (didn't get it, but it was quite a physically demanding job anyway, so probably for the best), after I left I had to go back because I forgot my certificate folder. My baby brain is getting really bad! Fortunately It was there when I went back.

I also cooked dinner for a dinner party last night so thankfully I now have an afternoon off to relax from all of it. I will be wrapped up in bed sipping tea.

ncs So sorry, thinking of you.

artyone · 20/03/2013 11:26

OneLittleToddleTerror Sports bras are a good idea. Mine don't seem to have grown, but they are a little painful.

OneLittleToddleTerror · 20/03/2013 11:32

artyone that's what they look like

www.mothercare.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-MCENGB-Site/default/Search-Show?cgid=&q=sleep+bra&simplesearch=Go

I remember getting some from figleaves and mothercare last time. I hear from friends the NCT shop have them too.

OneLittleToddleTerror · 20/03/2013 11:34

It's shocking I went from an A cup to a F or G last time. (That's when my milk came in). And then I shrink from that back to an A over about 1.5 years of bf!

Alexandra6 · 20/03/2013 11:36

honey how are you? Worried about you.

mother a friend or mine is pg and her boobs were out of control even in first trimester! Mine are only a b cup so quite looking forward to a bit more!

Hi arty you've been busy!

honey86 · 20/03/2013 11:48

hiya
so-so.. bleedings stopped again but still cramping, like a mild period pain... feeling tired and abit poorly so wrapped up in bed while the kids are at school. decided to stop poas now, i just dont want to freak myself out too much til i know what happens at the scan.. although im abit anxious that like as if ill have a scan and they wont find a heartbeat... i know im not helping matters by worrying..
waiting for maternity to contact me to arrange booking in and scan, then will need to wait to be refferred back to gp to be able to have antenatals with my community midwife... feels like such a long drawn out process Sad

sorry to hear your sad news ncs SadThanks

OneLittleToddleTerror · 20/03/2013 11:51

honey hope they will contact you soon and you get good news from the scan. It's very worrying isn't it? I'm getting quite stressed about abnormality screening already Sad. I know it's not the same, but I think we just don't stop worrying until they are here, iyswim?

MotherOfCleo · 20/03/2013 11:58

one I am wearing underwired bras, I bought bigger sized ones though so they fit fine, they dont actually hurt by the underwiring, its about an inch and a half further forward that they are tender. Hmm

I wear a sports bra to sleep in, I always have....although its a bit snug now.

I guess its just a grin and bear it moment.....just hope they stop hurting soon! They are proper solid now too....feels oddConfused

Fairydogmother · 20/03/2013 12:09

i was thinking last night i might get something slightly supportive to sleep in as mine get sore at night

i've another week to go before my scan and its at nighttime so a whole day of crappy work to get through as well! i just need to see something to reassure me that the jellybean is ok!

fingers xd for you honey

Alwaystheauntie · 20/03/2013 12:58
