Congrats hotchoc Smile WISH I was as relaxed as you sound! But it's my first and waited ages and thought I was infertile so I guess no wonder I'm so anxious.

OneLittleToddleTerror · 19/03/2013 16:45

honey are you under the care of a EPU? Maybe give them a call?

honey86 · 19/03/2013 17:09

nope i had my gp appointment this morning so the midwives wouldnt even have my referral yet... last weeks scan showed abit of blood under baby prob from implantation... its having cramps too that worries me.. plus i poas this morning again and the line was abit lighter than last weeks... i dont know i might be overevaluating but just proper anxious SadBlush

honey86 · 19/03/2013 17:12

sorry alex im 7+3... had an early mc in 2011 at bout 4-5 weeks x

OneLittleToddleTerror · 19/03/2013 17:14

Yes honey I remembered your bleeding from the march conception bus. I'm surprised you aren't under consultant care in EPU. But then nothing surprises me with the NHS sometimes. (Bitter experience from A&E last mc myself).

Alexandra6 · 19/03/2013 17:22

I'm really feeling for you. But I have heard bleeding can be something or nothing. Keep pushing for scans/treatment - insist that they do them or get your GP to! Good luck

retroelle · 19/03/2013 17:26

honey, those tests can be darker or lighter depending on the time of day/how much you've had to drink/whether you're facing west on a thursday/etc. But do get yourself checked out if you are worrying.

Alexandra6 · 19/03/2013 17:29

That's true about the tests! That's why first morning pee is best (says the test addict)

Dizzy81 · 19/03/2013 17:59

Has anyone heard from NCS at all?

Honey, sending lots of positive vibes your way. And as Alex has said push for an early scan.

Good I'm soo tired and my dating scan is now in the morning not the afternoon, I am scared but excited if that makes sense.

getoffthecoffeetable · 19/03/2013 18:23

Thinking of you honey, keeping you in my prayers.

Oh dear no news from Ncs is worrying. Hope she is ok.
Honey really hope everything is ok.

Diege · 19/03/2013 19:26

Hi all Smile. Struggling to keep up with you chatty lot! Sorry to hear there are some anxious times at present with spotting etc. I actually had an early scan this morning after pink spotting last week (red on one wipe). All is fine, everything measuring to dates and good strong heartbeat. Spotting/bleeding is so common at this stage - hope everyone experiencing it is ok, I know what a worry it can be.
I will try and keep up now I promise!

kimblesj · 19/03/2013 19:28

Hi all can I join? I am due 1st November so 8 weeks on Friday with my 3rd. Took us 2 years to conceive as I have pcos and this is our miracle baby. So worried something will go wrong all the time
Xx

ncsmummy · 19/03/2013 19:50

Be kind to yourself.

Honey - that is awful that you don't seem to be getting any much support. Is there not somewhere that you can go in your area where they can check how things are? It sounds like torture having to wait.

Alexandra6 - I remember all too well the anxiety I felt with my 1st. The time just couldn't pass quickly enough. I don't think I started to relax a little until I got to week 37 (when the baby is considered full term). This time it is weird feeling so different. I know this sounds awful, but having my DD already I think I feel less worried about whether this baby gets to full term as I know that I have one child already.

Kimblesj - welcome! Wishing you a happy & healthy 9 months :)

Diege - glad it's not just me struggling to keep up! That's great that all is well after your scare. It's fab seeing the little heart beating away isn't it?!

Dizzy81 · 19/03/2013 20:01

Ncs I'm soo sorry. Please take good care of yourself.

slippysnow · 19/03/2013 20:02

Hi everyone. I haven't posted for ages, I fell behind then couldn't keep up. I've probably missed too much to completely rejoin. I'm 8+ 1 days, feeling relatively good surprisingly. Boob pain comes and goes, slightly bloody nose, tired and naseus sometimes in the evening have been sick on occasion. Glad to see alexandra here, another clomid graduate. Wishing everyone luck and joy through their pregnancy. May spend some time really trying to catch up.

BangOn · 19/03/2013 20:03

sorry to hear about the spotting & cramps honey, must be so worrying. i've also had quite a bit of cramping on & off today & keep expecting to see blood when i go to the loo...

really sorry ncs. hope you're ok.

Minesahotchocolate · 19/03/2013 20:06

NCS - So sorry to hear your news was not good.

Alexandra6 · 19/03/2013 20:26

Don't worry slippy, we'll update you! I'm loving being here, can't wait until I'm 8 weeks too. When's your first scan?

Ncs, so so sorry :(

Hi Kimble, how did you conceive in the end? I'm a pcos'er too

louby86 · 19/03/2013 20:36

So sorry ncs, look after yourself xx

Honey, don't worry about poas, I think it starts to get lighter again after a few weeks with the hormone changes. If anything gets worse or you start to worry more maybe try and give the EPAU a call to see if they'll see you.
