So sorry to hear your news topslou and birds I'm sending lots of baby dust your way, hope you are on another bus as soon as you're ready Thanks

To the April 3rd scan clan- I will be 12 weeks exactly too, Natalie and I are running on the same dates ATM, will be interesting to see how we are all dated.

I'm also having funny dreams smitten although I can't remember any now! They feel quite real, I'm not usually as much of a dreamer. Was actually sick last night for the first time, I had been feeling sick all day (nose has become stupidly sensitive) I over ate (saved the nicest roast potato till last so had to eat it!) and then brushing my teeth was the last straw. I'm not good at being sick, don't think I could do it quietly at work and then carry on with my day- well done to those of you who are pros at it! Was blowing it out of my nose for a while... Sorry tmi. Hopefully it was a one off will try not to be such a pig in future Grin

Sanjifair · 11/03/2013 18:13

Sorry to hear your news tops and bird. :-(

racheld33 · 11/03/2013 19:02

So sorry to hear sad news today, sending lots of love to tops and birds x x x

legallyblond with my DS I was sick 5-10 times a day, and retching 10 times an hour, till I was admitted to hospital for dehydration at 7 weeks. On cyclizine then till about 24 weeks (and on that medication still felt sick most of the time, but only actually sick about once a day). This time my GP prescribed me it before sickness kicks in, so feel sick 80% of the time, and I'm sick about 3 x day at the moment. If you're not on medication, definately go see your GP and pile on emphasis about not keeping down fluids, and see if they'll try you on something! Smile

racheld33 · 11/03/2013 19:04

Also, loads of crazy dreams! Last night was at a party with one direction and ended up leaving with Harry styles! Blush

Haylebop12 · 11/03/2013 19:13

So sorry on hear some bad news. Sending you lots of kind thoughts tops and birds

Had a rough weekend feeling drained. I should be 9+0 today so hoping everything starts to settle. I'm sick of feeling sick although should be grateful I'm managing the actual vomiting with medication. I'm due back at work a week tomorrow but the way I feel ATM that won't be happening. I really want up start enjoying being pg but I just can't :-(

Anyone else had a kind of pulled muscle type pain in groin? Generally when turning over in bed...? I remember having it last year with the pg I mc'd but not with dd. I've mentioned it everytime I was admitted and they didn't seem concerned so just wondered of anyone else has had it?

Tarlia · 11/03/2013 19:24

I'm so very sorry birds and top. Sad day :( Sending you both well wishes for hopping on a new bus when you are ready Thanks

pinksky · 11/03/2013 19:25

Yes, Hayle me - sudden groin pain, sometimes getting up from the sofa or coughing. Wondered if it's just muscles being relaxed and if I 'engaged' it wouldn't hurt? But it does worry me...

Natalieand · 11/03/2013 19:33

Yeh I get that pain too hayle especially when I sneeze or move quick or turn over in bed probly just where everything muscle wise is looser so easier to strain it doesn't last long tho I find xx

TheFalconsmistress · 11/03/2013 19:39

Sorry to here your news topslou and birds xxxx

I have had groin pain when sneezing very strongly up until today, still on and off sick not sure if thats good or not at this stage im 11+1 today and my scan is 2 weeks tomorrow, Im a nervous wreck xx

Haylebop12 · 11/03/2013 19:42

Oh thank god it's not just me!! Although it worries me the fact I'm not alone makes me feel better. Yes to it happening when sneezing!

JellyCurls · 11/03/2013 19:50

So sorry to hear your news tops and birds please take care of yourselves x

Yes to side and groin pain when turning over in bed, seems worse if I have a full bladder.

I am in serious constipation hell ladies. I can't remember when I actually last managed a proper poo. I drink about 2 litres of water a day, eat loads of fruit and veg, porridge, whole meal bread and nothing is working. Feel so bunged up and sorry for myself. Googled natural remedies and am about to drink sugar water (smells vile). Got scan, consultant and midwife Wednesday so if this doesn't work not got long left till I can see a professional. Any granny remedies or top tips?

Haylebop12 · 11/03/2013 19:58

Orange juice did it for me jelly

In other news, I've found out our local mothercare does scans! Starting at £80 and no need to book!

PseudoBadger · 11/03/2013 19:58

I wouldn't call it groin, more womb! It's round ligament pain I believe, and I find it breathtaking sometimes!

pinksky · 11/03/2013 20:03

jelly if you can stomach it apple juice, figs, pineapple or baked beans should help. Also try and keep your fibre up. You can get fibre tablets at health food shops if needs be. Hope it eases off soon X

pinksky · 11/03/2013 20:04

But it sounds like you're really doing everything right already! Might have to try senna? Think it's ok in pregnancy

Livened · 11/03/2013 20:30

Sorry Tops and Birdsdoit. Wishing you all the best for future baby making when the time is right.

You ladies are all so lovely and supportive - with my DS I also had an amazing group from mumsnet, and now we have a private group on Facebook and they have become such great friends. Even some meeting up from time to time.

The next 30 or so weeks will be all the more fun sharing it with people in the same boat!

Now, where did I put those pickles...

cazboldy · 11/03/2013 20:43

thefalcon'smistress My scan is 2 weeks tomorrow too! Smile

I will be 11 weeks tomorrow

Tarlia · 11/03/2013 20:56

jelly sounds horrible, you poor thing :( Do you like prunes? Perhaps make a prune and apple purée to top your porride with? You'll manage to eat way more punes puréed than if you had to chew them all Envy (green with sickness not envy!!). Keep those fluids up and white carbs low.

TheFalconsmistress · 11/03/2013 20:56

Yeah! scan buddy cazboldy :)

char1eston · 11/03/2013 20:56

So sorry to hear your news birdsdoit and topslou Hmm

TheFalconsmistress · 11/03/2013 20:56

plums are good for constipation :)

char1eston · 11/03/2013 20:57

Jelly - have you tried callifig? Or pear juice is meant to be good. Are you taking vitamins? Sometimes the make can affect your bowels - maybe try a different make?
