Afternoon ladies. Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine. Had my booking in appointment today. Everything is fine but did get told off for not eating enough so currently eating my way through a big bag of salt & vinegar crisps.

Also got told that there are no free antenatal classes in my area so having to pay £165 for the nct ones. Had to book today as they fill up really fast round here.

Hayle hope the meds & fluid are working & your feeling better.
Chickpea hope the scan went well.

Haylebop12 · 05/03/2013 15:16

Thanks for the get well wishes Smile they worked. No keytones so I'm being discharged.... Managed to get rehydrated pretty quick this time. Think my body knows the score!

Now just have to get to Friday, my booking in without another admission!

roofio87 · 05/03/2013 15:26

Right, at 9 weeks there is no hiding this rounded tummy!! I just look pregnant in everything I wear!! Haha. I'm slim and have always had a very flat stomach so I guess its just noticeable to me and people who know me well!! the weirdest part is I haven't actually put any weight on!! can't wait till I can just tell people!!

racheld33 · 05/03/2013 15:45

Hello all
Glad you've been discharged haylebop and i keep checking thread today for news on chickpea -hope all gone well!

10 weeks and me too with the rounded tummy, working my way through the looser options in my wardrobe this week! [grins]

Natalieand · 05/03/2013 16:34

I'm quite over weight 20-22 clothes so gunna be a while before I look pregnant sad times :-(

cazboldy · 05/03/2013 17:17

i'm 10 wks today ( by the mw's reckoning ) and still fine in my own clothes, although i do sometimes undo the button on my jeans when i have my tea! Blush

Had my GTT this morning, so fingers crossed thats all ok! will find out on friday.

not got a scan date yet.

Feeling much less tired the last couple of days - but do wonder if it's just cos i have been outside a lot in the lovely sunshine!

Good news Hayle Smile

fingers still crossed for you chickpea xx

cazboldy · 05/03/2013 17:20

oh and im a 12/14 - but have huge boobs, so most tops i wear don't cling to my tummy anyway lol

reckon i can make it to half way before many people notice! i did last time!

i love it when they have to pluck up the courage to ask! Grin

pinkbuttons · 05/03/2013 17:50

Tummy also rounding out here. Am bigger than when I had DS but still a size 10 and my tummy muscles clearly arent as good as they were...
Glad your out hayle heres hoping sickness holds off enough for you to stay hydrated.

Flyer747 · 05/03/2013 18:14

I cannot stop eating my food intake today was:

Bowl coco pops
11am hungry- ham and cheese paninni & a caramel doughnut
2.30pm Bacon roll and a cherry bakewell slice.

Then out for dinner this eve!

Omg what is going on with the appetitie. My skinny jeans no longer fit me and my work uniform is sooo tight I can't move in it haha! Oh well

LittleChickpea · 05/03/2013 18:18

Hi ladies,

Just popped on to thank everyone that posted such kind and thoughtful messages. I was admitted into hospital yesterday and I have just been released. I am really sad to say DP and I lost our little package. This was due to be our first but as defficult as this is please do not feel bad for us. We would welcome more positive thoughts. I may be departing the October train but DP and I hope to jump on to a new train in a few months time and if I do, i will nip back here to see how you are all getting on. Wish us better luck next time.

I really wish you all well and a wonderful , healthy, enjoyable journey. With all my best wishes....... Goodbye for now Smile

roxvox · 05/03/2013 18:21

Evening all.

I am about a 12/14 too and have a little pot belly showing! I would put it down to my appetite, but considering how I seem to be losing weight rather than gaining it I can only assume that it's due to a little tiny baby in there somewhere Smile

9W today and still no scan date through. I tried calling the surgery but they couldn't help. I don't want to trouble the MW although I have her direct number as I am sure she has more important things going on! She said the other day though that slots are filling up fast and that she was surprised I haven't had my letter through yet... So hopefully she's chasing it up for me!

Glad to hear things are going better for you Haylebop. I hope you can feel better long term after your last visit. Have you had a scan yet? Just wondering if you know whether you're having twins or not (supposedly higher levels of HCG make you sicker etc)?

Rockchick1984 · 05/03/2013 18:23

Oh Chickpea I'm so sorry to hear that Sad Thanks Please do let us know when it happens again for you, I hope you're ok xxx

Sanjifair · 05/03/2013 18:23

So sorry chickpea :-(

cherrycherry41 · 05/03/2013 18:25

Chickpea all the best of luck for next time, your strength is so admirable, all my love xxx

roxvox · 05/03/2013 18:33

As cherrycherry41 said, your strength is incredibly admirable chickpea. I am so sorry for your loss. xx

Iheartcrunchiebars · 05/03/2013 18:38

So sorry little chickpea but am sending lots of positive thoughts as requested. Who knows you could have a christmas baby xxxx

Haylebop12 · 05/03/2013 18:43

Your so brave chickpea to have that attitude. The best of luck for the future.

Yes, I had a scan in my first admission for that reason. Only one little haylebop in there!

Bronzemoth · 05/03/2013 18:53

Best of luck Chickpea xx

OrangeBlossom2 · 05/03/2013 18:56

Chickpea I have been thinking about you all day. Wishing you lots of luck for next time and hope to see you back very soon. Thanks

Re back pain, my lower back hurts too, but not as severe as you mentioned umlauf (I think it was you?) I had mild scoliosis after a car accident but pretty much straight again now after chiropractic treatment. Have you. Had it checked out?

I wore some old jeans today as I was on a course and they are really tight, even though they are a size 8 and my usual ones are size 6. My baggy top also kept clinging around my tummy. A girl I haven't seen for years was at the course and started asking if I am thinking of babies, I. Wonder if she could tell?! I have a friend's wedding in three weeks and am hoping I can squeeze into a dress still then. At 9 weeks it would be ridiculous to need to be in maternity wear already! I dont particularly want to buy non maternity wear in larger sizes. As baby is only grape sized at the moment I think it must be all bloating. Nice.

OrangeBlossom2 · 05/03/2013 18:59

Ooh I mean into weeks. Time is gradually ticking along!

OrangeBlossom2 · 05/03/2013 19:00

Argh two

Does anyone know if you can edit posts?

slippysnow · 05/03/2013 19:09

chickpea I don't know whether you will find any comfort in this but someone wise once told me Mc's are natures way of making sure we don't have babies that suffer with illness and pain. Also you now know conception is possible which is often the hardest battle.
Any way, you have such a great attitude about it, sending you positive thoughts for a happy healthy pregnancy you deserve next time!

Sanjifair · 05/03/2013 19:12

Orangeblossom, the baby may be only as big as a grape, but the uterus is as big as a grapefruit! Plenty big enough to cause a bump, especially if you are slim.

pinksky · 05/03/2013 19:23

Good evening all, hope everyone is doing well.

chickpea I'm very sorry to hear your news. I wish you all the very very best--and heaps of babydust of course. Hope to see you very soon xx

pinkmoonlight · 05/03/2013 19:25

Sending you lots of love and positive thoughts chickpea, your attitude is amazing xxx
