sparks, you'll only be offered a GTT at 6 weeks if this one is positive. It's because when diabetes is diagnosed in pregnancy, we don't know if it is just gestational diabetes or if it is diabetes that just happened to be picked up in pregnancy. Everyone with a normal postpartum GTT should then be offered an annual fasting glucose as there is a 50% chance of developing 'proper' diabetes after having GDM.

Anyway, trying out the namechange. Not sure what I think yet. I did like one another thread when someone (not one of us, so a stranger!) said that she recognised me and thought I seemed sensible and wondered what I thought. [smug] Smile

Good shopping boo! Smile
I have just ordered a mei tai style sling from another bargainous website called Daisybaby - just saying in case anyone fancied a look, they do all sorts of baby stuff and also have an ebay shop! WinkGrin

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 05/04/2013 10:25

Ooh, put a pic on FB Olives sounds lovely :)

I have seen the mw this morning everything fine with booby no sign of being engaged but apparently that can be normal. She was a little dismissing about my bouncing efforts on the ball, I thought bouncing now would be a benefit in the long run Hmm is it worth keeping up with it or just wait for labour to start and use it then?

keepitgoing · 05/04/2013 11:09

Come on booby. Engage with your mother!

Are names sorted, boo?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 05/04/2013 11:19

Names are pretty much sorted Keep, 2 or 3 of each I'm really hoping that when I meet booby one will seem like the right one. It is very different, with teen and toddly there was only ever one name they were going to have, it is worrying me a little, just hope one of the names 'fit' iynwim.

keepitgoing · 05/04/2013 15:05

But maybe we can help...

Have you definitely ruled out Booby, then. I think it suits him...

Aah too cute!!!! 72nd sounds much more likely given yours and DH's heights. I can't imagine how amazing it was seeing his little face and little hands [over excited] :):)

keepitgoing · 06/04/2013 10:37

Yay sparks! How different is it to the normal ultrasound scan?
