Ouch sasha!! Sounds uncomfy.

Good luck for scan later [baby brain made me forget who] Blush

esme80 · 22/02/2013 07:44

Ouch sasha, sounds painful!

vinegar I called my midwife re mat b1 form and she just posted it to me, no need for an appointment.

My parents are called mormor and morfar, I try to speak mostly swedish to ds. Then mil and fil are nana and pops. My dh called his mother granny on one occasion and got quite a stern look for it.

Good luck for any scans today!

Before findng out gender at anomaly scan, I thought we had some girl names we really liked. Found out we are having a girl and I have gone off all of them! Can not think of a single girls name I even remotely like! Good thing we have about 19 weeks left I suppose...

PhieEl06 · 22/02/2013 08:30

Yay Cheese!
Citizen my OH's niece (she's 2 & a half) was told last week I was having a baby & when I saw her afterwards she said "is there a baby in there" pointing at my belly, when I told her yes her reply was to her mom "can I go back into you mommy?" We were all rolling around laughing at her, now every time I think about it I have a little giggle!

CitizenOscar · 22/02/2013 08:57

Haha Phie. Must seem like a comfy place to go back to! Or just curious as to what it was like?! Good luck to her Grin

VinegarDrinker · 22/02/2013 09:09

Hah I told DS he used to be in my tummy when he was a tiny baby and he just laughed hysterically and said "noooooo! mummy being silly!"

flyingsprocket · 22/02/2013 09:13

Hi ladies. Turns out it wasn't meant to be for us this time. Went to hospital yesterday morning, my waters had already gone. And, although there was still a heartbeat, there was nothing that could be done.

The midwives & doctors were so lovely & thankfully I was able to get home to my own bed last night.

I sincerely hope that I'm the last one to leave this thread. Thank you all for your support & I wish you the very best for the next 20 weeks x

VinegarDrinker · 22/02/2013 09:20

Oh gosh, I am so sorry to hear that flyingsprocket, so so sad. Take good care of yourself. X

PhieEl06 · 22/02/2013 09:23

So sorry to hear that flying sprocket, hand holding here & praying for you. Xxx

dinkystinky · 22/02/2013 09:25

Oh Flying, I am so so sorry to hear your news and am sending you and your DH big hugs. I really wish that your body recovers physically soon, and hope you get plenty of love and support to come to terms with your loss. If the hospital is offering counselling, please do think about taking it up as and when you are ready. Much love x

Sasha - I spoke to my parents (both doctors) about my finger at the time. The main risk in not resetting it etc is reduced mobility (which I dont have) and an increased risk of arthritis in the finger in old age. As everyone over the age of 65 in both sides of the family suffers from arthritis, I figured it was a risk I was willing to take. But definitely do speak to your Dr about pros and cons of surgery and if the nerve block option is available given your pregnancy.

BadmissM - maternity exemption certificate (now a pretty little card) is what gets you free prescriptions and dental treatment while pregnant and for a year after the baby is born. You should have been given the form signed by MW at first MW appointment.

Supershiv - is it boobs deflating or your bump getting bigger Wink?

Vinegar - can you see if you can get the MATB1 faxed to you? Or left for you to pick up on your way to work?
