AmaDablam · 27/02/2013 19:42

Huffpot I'm so sorry to hear your news. Thinking of you and hoping you have lots of support and were treated kindly and respectfully at the hospital.

TotallyEggFlipped · 27/02/2013 19:49

Huffpot I'm so sorry. I hope you're getting plenty of support. Take care of yourself and please let us know how you're getting on if you feel up to it.

AmaDablam · 27/02/2013 19:55

MrsMillions I have been thinking exactly the same thoughts about my winter coat. I don't have much of a bump, but expanding so much in the hip, bum and boob areas that it won't be long before I can't zip it up any more. Thinking I will have to pinch one of DH's and not care if it looks ridiculous!

shelly I've been feeling out of sorts the last few days too - irritable, sensitive and almost as tired as I was during the 1st trimester. I don't have any previous DC's to have worries about, but when I'm not fretting about how the one in my tummy is doing, I worry that something bad with happen to DH. I guess it must be some kind of mid-pregnancy crisis!

Had horrible tummy ache right in bump area all afternoon and evening - feels like indigestion and accompanied by lots of gurgling, so I'm hoping that's all it is and that it goes away soon...

dinky think they're now in a right tizz as one of my colleagues announced she's 14 weeks yesterday!! Think it's the first time they've had two in one department at once lol

Had my appt through for the redo of my 20 week scan (to check baby's face as he/she was being shy) it's 14 march so not long til I see little one again.

Ama - hope you're feeling better today.

My quest for gravity defying maternity tights continues - am going to try H&M Mama ones next having tried -and discarded - jojomamanbebe, mothercare and debenhams ones. Ho hum...

No idea if of any interest to anyone but mama mio are giving away a free shower cream (which is lovely) to anyone who places orders over £25 on their website.

Abz good to hear from someone else cycling. I'm doing my usual 12 miles/day (6/6 to/from work) weather depending albeit quite a bit slower than usual. Still piling on the pounds though due to epic cake consumption. Inclines have me floored! (Not talking mountains, even a small uphill). Need to put my handlebars up too, to make it more comfy, and also move my saddle back as DS (2yrs) is in a front mounted seat and the gap between bump and him is getting smaller and smaller!

We don't have a car so rely on our bikes to get around, so hoping to cycle pretty much til delivery (managed this with DS) and cooking up plans for transporting two under 2.5 by bike, suspect a trailer will be the answer.

VinegarDrinker · 28/02/2013 12:26

Huffppot thinking of you today, not sure whether you are still reading and when you are going in to be induced but if you want to share I'm sure we would all feel privileged to hear about your little one.

dinkystinky · 28/02/2013 12:38

Vinegar - I love those trailers they use over in Amsterdam. Am in awe at you cycling to and from work with those killer shifts too. I echo your sentiments to Huffpot too.
