Cant tell anyone except dh in real life so hoping i can get quietly excited here!

Is it so bad that i really want to get excited with so many risks before 12 weeks? Im 5+4, only OH knows and have not got my booking in appt or scan dates through yet :( Been hopelessy looking at double buggys (DD will be 12mo when new baby arrives) etc but OH wont discuss any of it until the after the scan :(
I want to shout from the rooftops IM PREGNANT!!

Oh sorry celosia but don't give up hope. A friend of mine had pains and bled for many weeks to the point where she didn't tell anyone she was preg until the 20 week scan. Her son is now 3 and a lovely healthy boy!

Just marking my place. I am 6 weeks pregnant with dc2. I have an 8 month old and am still on maternity leave. Work are going to love me when I go back in March!

I seem to be spending my time turning down invites for drinks that all seem to have come at once :/ so hard not to tell people.

Feeling tired and a bit nauseous but not too bad apart from that. Don't have much time to wallow as my baby keeps me busy!

So very sorry to hear that celosia but don't give up hope yet. Lots of people have bleeding and then go on to have normal pregnancies.

Welcome Warlin there's a few on here with babies close together I think :) I know what you mean re invites - I'm trying to either offer to drive or just pleading poverty but will tell people once we've had an early scan and (hopefully!) know everything is going well.

Can I join please? Just got a bfp this morning! Vital stats are I'm 30, edd 12/10/13, already have a gorgeous DS who just turned 1year.

Cherry I looked at doubles last night aswell. Really like the oyster max. I think it's new. Out this month. I deff don't want a side by side double. But I don't really like the phil and ted look.

Managed toast and cereal today. Doesn't taste normal

GT thats the one ive been looking at too! it says feb 2013 so should be in stores soon i should think. I love it in purple! I went plain and classic with my DDs pram and got a Silver Cross Linear Freeway and its hugeeee, i thought i wanted a big robust walking pram but ive found its a massive annoyance! God knows what im going to b like with a double though! Definately prefer tandem doubles as doubt side by side would fit through doorways/clothes aisles/buses! :/
oyster max looks lovely and slim, probably slimmer than the buggy i have now lol x

celosia really sorry to hear your having a rubbish week I hope everything isnt as bad as you think it is, but sending hugs either way.

Today I am sick and starving at the same time I didnt realise that was even possible.

cherry my DH is being very much like that too, I know it is his defence mechanism should anything happen, I on the other hand am so excited for this bean that right from my BFP I would have been upset if anything happened. Think I may tell a couple of close girlfriends next week though... we'll see

I've had such a stomach ache for days now, but not like down where my womb is its much higher up the kind of stomache ache u get if u have a sick bug only I don't have a sick bug lol, just an upset tummy and a constant feeling of wanting to be sick but not atchly being sick, feel rough as anything.
gt and cherry glad I'm not the only one jumping the gun and looking at buggys I like the mamas and papas Luna. I had a travel system for my daughter and only used the carry cot about 5 times and used too lazily attach the car seat to the buggy all the time and I don't wanna fall into that again. Hubby's being very cautious too about telling ppl ATM only me hubby, my mum, his nan and 2 of my friends know, I wanna shout it from the rooftops but I don't wanna jinx myself xxxx hope everyone's ok today xxx

And for some reason I was just wondering if any of our pregnancies will turn out to be twins/multiples when we go for our scans. Will be exciting stuff xx

natalie id be doomed with a multiple pregnancy as id probably give birth before my DD is even 1 yo!

Wont be 12 weeks until 17th march which is 38 days of not telling anyone! I cant cope!!
Dont know how we'll announce the news though as we've conceived 2 babies in the time BIL and SIL have been ttc, they were a mixture of gutted/excited last time, think they may be more upset this time... :/

Also, got my DD weighed today and shes HUGE- on the 98th centile :/ dont know how im going to cope carrying her around for the next 8 months!!

Isit normal to have an upset stomach and the feeling to be sick but nt atchly being sick at 4-5 weeks? It's making me feel so unwell and I feel like I can't eat

its normal id say, i find im sick when i DONT eat & keep hydrated, in both pgs..

Dh and I told our 3 this morning. The eldest and youngest are already arguing as to where the baby will sleep when its older. DD says with her but youngest has more room in his bedroom. Middle child wants to teach the baby tennis. :)

Ww have asked the children not to say anything to anyone. I want to try to get to 12 weeks before we tell people.
