And I made it out of the house to meet new childminder for DS today so that was fab. Back to bed for a snooze now tho zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Scan tomorrow!!! Excited but also nervous Confused

kittykat .. Ouch! Sore bum, black eye and bits on parade... What a fun day that sounds.... But great that they have a clear explanation for the bleeding. They don't seem to be concerned so that is good news.

fatas .. 3+ eh? YAYYYYYYY!!!!

littlemis .. Big YAYYYYYYY for you too that the meds have kicked in. I really hope you feel like a human again soon.

Lol congrats on the successful scan.

MrsBri .. Sounds sensible to pace yourself with work. The idea of working nights makes my head hurt. I am in bed for 10 most nights (not that I ever sleep through but still..)

we'll be seeing you soon ladies, I can feel it in my bones.

Ds1 is 6 tomorrow. How did that happen???

MrsBri · 24/01/2013 21:40

Hello all...just finished work for today, thank god. Shitty day ending in embarrassing hormone preggo tears in the office! Fail :-/

Thank god it is Friday tomorrow. Then Saturday when we sign the contract for our new house. And do some packing!

Hope everyone is well and avoiding ice / children wielding inanimate objects!

Kittenkatzen · 25/01/2013 07:27

Awww mrsbri I hope you have a better time at work today. Take deep breaths and picture yourself swatting the annoying people round the head Wink

littlemiss glad you're feeling a bit better.

Kittenkatzen · 25/01/2013 07:27

Ooh and happy birthday to little tedmundo hope he has a lovely day :))

kittykatsforever · 25/01/2013 15:57

How was the scan little??
And yes happy bday to little ted Grin

kittykatsforever · 25/01/2013 15:58

Oh and mrs bri that's a really long day no wounded you've gotten emotional can you take abit of leave soon and look forward to the new house?

tedmundo · 25/01/2013 16:49

At the softplay with little Ted so can mn a bit in peace.

I am sleeping really badly. Spend around 2 hrs a night awake, downstairs with the cat (he likes it) and getting so tired in the day. I hope to get MORE sleep once the baby arrives.

Dh has voiced concerns over elcs - I had kind of made up my mind so all back in the air. Not sure how I feel now.

kittykatsforever · 25/01/2013 17:48

Oh no ted Sad had you decided to have an elcs then? What are his/your concerns?
I love soft plays tire them out I say!!
I've hardly slept last 2 night but down to the fact I've now got a poorly dd and a coldSad they obviously come in 3's in our house!!

MrsBri · 25/01/2013 18:21

Oh no, kitty and ted...I hope you both sleep better soon. Nothing worse than exhaustion. :-(

I'm having a day off after the move, then 6 days at Easter. Then not long til I finish work! Sure I'll be OK. Everyone at work was on my side against the bitch, which is good :-)

Oh, and I saw our new HR lady today, who confirmed I can do the statements I get paid for as my KIT days, so I can afford to have 6 months off. So happy!

Hope the scan was good, little.

Hi to you all. :-)

LittleMissSnowShine · 25/01/2013 18:50

I will def be off to soft play tomorrow I think, fed up with rain and snow and slush!!!

Sympathy for ted and kitty not sleeping...v tough going when you're already tired :(

MrsBri - Great news about your maternity leave!

Good scan for me today! Photos a bit rubbish because out little beanie is very active and was spinning and wriggling and kicking all over the place. Poor MW tried for ages to find a better angle or encourage baby into better position but we saw loads on the screen. Looks very like his/her brother, all long legs and very active. No wonder I was convinced I felt kicking the other night! Got a referral to physio because I had bad spd the last time so they are trying to resolve that before it becomes an issue and my next appt is in 4 weeks, tho I'll get my blood results in a day or two. Have decided not to have quadruple test too. I also have a new EDD of 9th August!

fatasbutter · 26/01/2013 23:39

Congrats littlemiss Thanks

That's exciting getting your scan date now kitten! My letter only gives booking appt date so won't know about scan date til I've had that Confused

Must be around 6+3 ish by now...

kittykatsforever · 27/01/2013 08:04

Congrats little miss that's really good news! Did your dates put you forward or back? Always good being pushed forward!! Are you or lol finding out sex? I'm on another thread and we all posted our 12wk pics, and had a guess, surprisingly we got a lot right!!

SunshineOutdoors · 27/01/2013 12:11

Hooray littlemiss great news about the scan!

Mine's on Wednesday, excited and nervous but surely the fact I'm still being sick has to be a good sign?

LittleMissSnowShine · 27/01/2013 15:37

kitty - im exactly right for dates but i never have a 28 fay cycle so nice surprise! not sure if we'll find out the sex but wont get next chance to find out til 20 weeks so will decide by then!

sunshine - ooh fx for wed, tho i'd say feelin sick is a v good sign :)

fatas - im 12+2 now, cant believe it, hope next 6 weeks fly past for you

just watching this weeks one born every min on 4od, hormones plus babies being born equals quite weepy!! ordered my first maternity thing online today too..finally getting a bit excited now!!

OP posts:
fatasbutter · 27/01/2013 16:49

Good luck for weds sunshine - I have to agree that puking is a great sign! (Not that I necessarily want to vom but a bit more nausea would be ok...)

12+2 littlemiss - am Envy! But v pleased for you too!

I don't know how you can all watch OBEM! It reminds me too much of my own awful labour (or else I am jealously shouting at the tv that they have had too easy a time of their labours!!!) I really am quite ConfusedBlush aren't I!?

SunshineOutdoors · 27/01/2013 19:11

Yes puking horribly today, has yours calmed down yet littlemiss? I'm hoping by 16 weeks it will just be a memory.

fatas thanks for the good luck - how are you feeling?

I don't really watch obem, when is it on?

tedmundo · 27/01/2013 20:25

littlemiss .. Wonderful news on the scan. Really pleased for you. I am watching OBEM right now! Pissing myself on the midwife explaining paddington bear to the poor lass in labour ....

sunshine .. Yes puking is a very good sign. This time round, I expected to be a nervous wreck due to the previous mmc, but the sickness was so bad, I knew that my body was still "pregnant" so I was actually quite chilled. Good luck on Wednesday.

fatas .. After 2 very medical births, I like to watch OBEM just to see that yes it can be text book for some LUCKY LUCKY people. NO chance of that for me!

Still unsure about the ELCS so going to put it out of my mind til I see the consultant in 2 weeks. I know where DH is coming from as recovery isn't always straightforward. BUT we have 2 DS and I am worried about who will have them in an emergency.

fatasbutter · 28/01/2013 06:55

sunshine I'm quite tired and get the occasional wave of nausea, usually I I haven't eaten anything in the last half hour but its always in the afternoon! Otherwise I just feel like a bloated me. Def had more nausea than this in other 2 pgs so if it doesn't increase I will panic Hmm

Ah ted you are a better person than me! I am only Envy of those lucky buggers who have a n easy labour, not happy for them as such - it is def best I avoid obem as am clearly bitter and twisted!! Wink

LittleMissSnowShine · 28/01/2013 07:14

ted - im like you, i watch in envy and to feel their pain too! My pain drugs wore off hours before DS was born and I ended up legs in stirrups so i like to pretend this time will all be diff ha ha Grin

fatas - i dunno, if you're not puking then just enjoy - wont be long before a new pg symptom turns up!

sunshine - still puking away but meds are keeping it down to only once or twice a day and im going to attempt going back into work for a couple of hours today...wish me luck!

Kittenkatzen · 28/01/2013 07:22

Ooh good luck going back to work today littlemiss, hope you feel on for it.

My DH has be one slightly obsessed with OBEM the last few weeks, I think he never really have childbirth that much though previously so now he just watches in pure amazement Smile

fatas I'm 7+4 now and still no real nausea so you're not alone!
