Shagged Out Viroids 6th Thread! From Early Days to Ready To Pop - Proof that JSing really does work!

Hello and welcome to another shiny fred for Just Shagging graduates!

The last fred was nice and busy so fingers crossed we get lots more members Grin

We've just moved over from the Shagged Out Viroids Volume 5 thread, where we finally found out that a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!
The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

Our stats thread is here, so if you find us, please add your stats too.

There is also a Just Mumming thread for grads of the grads thread Confused Grin

And if you want to find out what Just Shagging is about or catch up with the undergrads go say hello to the Just Shaggers here, now on the 12th thread Thanks

Aargh. Stupid iPhone.

Who hoo! Stick stick stick, little RockBean :)

WingDefence · 05/02/2013 14:38

Rock on Rock!

Grin

something, that's quite exciting! I remember never really knowing when my plug had gone but the most likely time was about a week before I ended up going into labour.

Perhaps you and MrSomething should be JSing like something to try to get things going?! Otherwise, being around other babies can help (perhaps younger than your DS).

somethingwittynot · 05/02/2013 14:48

Js is a no go here. To painful!

Few irregular crampy feelings this afternoon lost 3 blobs of plug last night so who knows?!

ICompletelyKnowAboutGuineaPigs · 05/02/2013 15:14

Fingers crossed you go into labour then Something - if a vbac is what you want of course.

I had my scan today. Baby is perfectly happy and her estimated weight is 3lb. Surprise surprise I have polyhydramnios AGAIN. Luckily it seems mild at this stage. The scanner was actually lovely (she gacve me bonus free pics Smile) and said that if I've had it in 3 out of 3 pregnancies it's probably just the way I carry babies.

Spoke to the consultant who wasn't worried and all being well vaginal birth is still likely (phew). Going back at 36 weeks for clinical review but the sonogrpaher said she didn't think it was necessary to keep scanning me - she said that it won't change anything but will cost me a fortune in parking. Obviously if I balloon or there is a problem then I can go straight in but otherwise just got to continue as planned. MW on Friday and going to arrange the SoM to come and see us at home re. HB - very exciting!

I'm going to treat myself to a natal hypnotherapy relaxation session sleep as I am still exhausted from my 2am special on Sunday night.

Kittenkatzen · 05/02/2013 15:25

Fx things start happening very soon something

rockchick yay congrats on your bfp how exciting! Grin

Lovely to hear the positive scan news guinea, fx the poly might not be as bad this time!

Just got back from my booking appt - managed not to pass out when they took my blood (just - such a wimp!). Now going to spend the afternoon chilling on the sofa and cooking up a chilli before going to yoga tonight. Could get used to this.....Smile

WingDefence · 05/02/2013 15:31

Keep us posted something...

Guinea can your SoM pop over to mine as well please Envy

BelleEtLaBaby · 05/02/2013 16:51

Rockchick I just popped into the js-ing thread for a lurk, and noticed you started the latest Fred. I started the 13th and got my Bfp like that day. I wonder - lucky Fred starters?? Get RedShoes or Bearface to make sure they start the next one (if they are there that long of course) :)

tiredteddy · 05/02/2013 17:36

dysgu really not long left at work now! Sounds like you have great mw's and they are monitoring the GD well.

something are you hoping for early labour because you still want a vac? Or because they will then do a c section sooner? I thought that your scar didn't look too great or did I get that wrong?

rockchick congratulations on the BFP!

guinea yay for having such a good scan, shame about the polyhydraminos but if that normal for you they don't sound too worried. How was that sleep?

kitten you are booked in! Bet it feels more real now too.

I am typing one handed with fern in my other arm. She's three weeks already, feeding and sleeping well. Dc2 is a bit wobbly now, it's hardest for the youngest I think. I'm trying to make sure I do something with just him each day.

MrsBri · 05/02/2013 18:01

Huge congrats to Rock...very exciting!! :-)

Well done kitten on getting booked in. A milestone ticked off. Your scan will be here before you know it!

And very exciting for you something. Seems like you've maybe not got long left. Bet you're impatient now!

Dysgu, it is good your MWs are on the ball. Hopefully it all goes well.

And Guinea, I don't think that was a surprise to you, was it? I know you'd said on here you thought it was possible. At least it is diagnosed and being dealt with now.

Sorry if I've missed anyone.

Had my 20 week scan today. Official EDD is 20th June. Was given my MATB1 for work. All very official now. Did my letter for work confirming leaving dates / leave / start of mat leave. Less than 14 weeks left at work. Now, that IS exciting! :-) My scan pic is on my profile if you want to have a go at guessing the sex, as we are team yellow! But we think boy.

WingDefence · 05/02/2013 18:21

Great about the booking-in appt kitten!

tired - typing with a beautiful baby in your other arm sounds idyllic :)

MrsBri - you've reminded me, I've still not got my MatB1 form. Another think to ring someone up about and complain. I'm in a right ragey mood today so they are lucky I didn't think of this this afternoon or someone would've got a right earful Angry

OP posts:
wavesandsmiles · 05/02/2013 19:40

It's true Sad

Can hardly type due to drip going in my elbow. Very sore and a bit sad too. V dehydrated again, and missing my DCs already...

tiredteddy · 05/02/2013 19:42

Me too wing Sad

WingDefence · 05/02/2013 20:04

Blimey waves you are going through the mill at the moment.

Why do you I have to live so far away? :(

OP posts:
MrsBri · 05/02/2013 20:05

Oh no, poor waves :-( I hope you can hydrate and escape very soon. xx

somethingwittynot · 05/02/2013 21:26

Hope your better soon waves.

Scars not looking great but hospital are just truly rubbish. Took me to have bright green discharge 3 phone calls a look on the computer for them to finally tell me i have severe thrush. Just fed up with them really

WingDefence · 05/02/2013 21:55

Ooh not nice something I bet you just want your DC out of there now!

OP posts:
somethingwittynot · 05/02/2013 23:59

I have no symptoms of thrush so suppose im lucky in a way.

This baby is so low that they look like they could drop out and id be happy for them to Grin

Hooya · 06/02/2013 13:33

Hello, no time to catch up properly but just saying yaaaay for Rock Grin

Hope everyone is well, off to sleep now but will catch up and post properly tomorrow after my next scan!

Pineapple80 · 06/02/2013 20:47

Hi Ladies!

Hope it all clears up soon Something.

MrsBri - so happy to hear your 20 wk scan went well! Smile

How is everyone doing? Congrats to the newbies, yay Grin!!

I have my 20 wk scan tomorrow. Time is just really flying now and I am outgrowing my work clothes. Had to order some maternity basics for work!! So much more comfy than trying to use a safety pin on work trousers Wink.

Take care all x

Pineapple80 · 06/02/2013 20:48

And wanted to add, get well soon Waves Smile

WingDefence · 06/02/2013 21:01

Ooh all of you 20-weekers! Grin

I have completely lost track of who is x weeks now etc. On the other antenatal threads (that I'm not on), do they put how many weeks/days they are at the end of their posts?

e.g.

LOL hun etc etc

31+4

OP posts:
MrsBri · 06/02/2013 21:46

Hi pineapple :-) I hope your scan goes well tomorrow. Are you excited? And are you finding out the sex?! Are you feeling much yet?

I quite like having been moved forwards 4 days, even if I know it isn't right biologically! :-) Makes me 21 weeks tomorrow. Happy days.

Hope waves is doing ok now.

Wing, did you ring about your MATB1 yet?

WingDefence · 06/02/2013 22:27

Argh I forgot MrsBri!

To be fair, I woke up in a non-stabby mood today and have been snowed under with work so I forgot.

Can you remind me tomorrow please?! Wink

OP posts:
Kittenkatzen · 07/02/2013 08:03

WING! MATB1! TODAY! You're welcome GrinWink

pineapple good luck for your scam today! And hooya is yours today too? Good luck if so!

Hope everyone else is doing ok. I'm spending my days at the moment in a permanent low-level panic about the possibility of this pg actually being a blighted ovum and there actually being no baby at all ConfusedSad Damn you google. Only 19 days to 12wk scan. Sigh.

Ooh I have a question - did anyone here turn down the combined screening? DH and I are thinking about saying we don't want it, just wondered if anyone had any views on it that we might not have considered?
