Thanks Bella Smile he looks a bit of a dude at the moment as his hair is wonderfully styled with the gel they use with the scanner!

utopian99 · 02/12/2012 08:24

bella that's a great birth story! (and lovely name)

spotty good luck for the scan - have brilliant mental image of Felix with hipster hairstyle!

strawb hoping for pip news soon - there have been rafts of babies on the the thread now and only one from our nct group with three overdue..

Cookiesandcoffee · 02/12/2012 08:33

Lovely birth story bella very impressed with everyone getting to 9 cm! LOVE the name too.
Aww good luck spotty best of luck. FX Felix loves the boob. He sounds like he's really doing brilliantly.
I have a good feeling about kate and strawb
Oh and forgot to say honey MiL sounds like a right cow and really hope something gets sorted or someone shoots her in the head

I thought it could be my turn last night, after a curry and some 'action' was having quite regular contractions pains and loads of annoying poo trips, but about 3ish I must have fallen asleep and now nothing. Not even a twinge. Angry

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 02/12/2012 08:59

bella I wish, I doubt it though. Sods law and all that. Lol.

spotty good luck with the bf, I'm sure Felix will love your huge boobs soon.

I had 4 squares of dark (70%) chocolate last night, and it didn't screw my sugars up! It was beautiful!

HoneyMum21 · 02/12/2012 09:31

Hope felix enjoys boob spotty

Bella - that's a lovely birth story. Congrats again.

Seconds - it does get better! DS1 just wouldn't be put down at first. He then started to sleep in his carrycot (most enclosed thing we had) before moving onto his cradle. The non-putdownable bit seemed like ages at the time, but think it was only a couple of weeks max. I reckon they just take a little while to adjust to being separate from us.

Clarella · 02/12/2012 10:36

Huge catch up...

Hope you're ok today honey and mil s behaviour doesn't cloud today for you

Glad all is ok ellie - re walking don't do what I did and exhaust yourself, I'm still recovering from my mammoth any stairs I can find in newcastle mission on thurs! (Admittedly only a few days after gastric bug but still!!)

Lol faulty toy analogy seconds and best wishes for the next 18 years few days! Seriously, lovely to hear he's back at home :)

Fab birth story bella!

Had the most relaxing Saturday in months - no shifting furniture for various work men or unpacking / re packing boxes in diff places incase lo arrives. We bunged up tree, threw lights on, cooked a chicken, watched brave, factor and live at the apollo, then I slept reasonably ok (quite a few cramps in night but basically result of greedy pigging out) and dh didn't but it's because he's too excited to meet lo, bless! So glad it wasn't due to all the other worries over the last 9 months. So sort of felt like xmas day randomly.

Oh I did get stabby pains while making gravy.

Going to find a country house/garden to meander about :)

Come on ministrawb!

Clarella · 02/12/2012 10:37

Hope today nicer for you too alison and he makes it up to you

FriendofDorothy · 02/12/2012 11:35

I think my body temp thermostat is buggered. Everyone else in church are wearing jumpers and coats and I am down to jeans and a vest top!

SpottyTeacakes · 02/12/2012 11:57

Felix's breathing is bad again and he might have to go back on CPAP Sad they also said he had a funny turn in the first 24 hours which could have been a fit, nice of them to mention it now. One step forward three steps back......

Oh spotty focus in the fact he is in the best place and they can act very quickly on what they find. So sorry it feels like a backwards step.

WillYuleDoTheFandango · 02/12/2012 12:20

Big hug Spotty, just focus on the fact that they're looking after him though

ISpyPlumPie · 02/12/2012 12:29

Hugs Spotty

WillYuleDoTheFandango · 02/12/2012 12:49

I feel awful today, like I may throw up at any moment. Is there anything I can take to settle my stomach at all?

EggsMichelle · 02/12/2012 12:58

Oh Spotty, sending lots of positivity to you.

Willyule back to the ginger tea/biscuits and dry crackers!

WillYuleDoTheFandango · 02/12/2012 13:15

Ginger nuts and crackers are on the GD no go list. I may have to send DP for sugar free ginger ale. Wish 2 o'clock would come already so we can get the viewers out of the way and I can just lie around moaning in peace!

SpottyTeacakes · 02/12/2012 13:34

Get some nice whole grain crackers willyule you can get some yummy ones they should be fine for you?

SpottyTeacakes · 02/12/2012 13:36

Oh and thanks for all the nice messages I'm feeling really sad but dp will be here in two and a half hours to pick me up so I can concentrate on not crying at home in peace instead

JoJoB77 · 02/12/2012 13:43

Hugs spotty, hope Felix picks up very soon.

cashmere · 02/12/2012 13:46

Thinking of you too Spotty. You've been so brave and positive but a good weep will prob do you good.
Love to little Felix too.

WillYuleDoTheFandango · 02/12/2012 13:55

Definitely treat yourself to a good cry Spotty I hope felix starts to feel a little better soon Sad

PurplePidjChickIsNotTheMessiah · 02/12/2012 14:08
