How many babies are we going to get on this thread?

Don't be draft ispy! I still need good induction stories as it'll be that in 2 and half days anyhow! I can still list more pros for having gone today over Monday oddly it just seems a lot more exciting on Monday! Finding out more from the sweep helped - my due date pal from nct went ahead at 41 regardless and had a great induction with epidural and drip but baby's cord wrapped twice round neck so forceps for that bit as she was loosing heart rate. I know I'm definitely gonna have to do it on Monday!

Who is still waiting? I have 2 weeks til my due date 20/12

Still waiting here due on Thursday 13/12....don't think anything is going to happen before!

No luck with the sweep midwife said my cervix is still really high so she couldn't reach. Tiny chance that the little bit of stimulation will do something, but coming to terms with the high probability of an induction next week

Oh and congrats to all the new arrivals, a little envious so tales of sleeplessness much appreciated

I'm due on Sunday, but don't see the MW again until Thurs. I think she might offer a sweep then.. At least she said we'd talk about it at next app.

I've had a terrible emotional day so far today. Terrorised both DH and the cat. Sign of labour being soon?

I'm due 12/12 and not convinced anything is going to happen before then tbh. Although my last birth I'd had a normal day and was just sitting eating tea when I had a big contraction and less than 2 hrs later there he was so who knows?

I'm still waiting too Annelid, due 22nd. No signs at all of an early delivery for Christmas. Oh well, they'll come when they're ready

Knotty it all gets a bit real now doesn't it? This has been the longest pregnancy in hisory, but the last month has flown and I can't believe I'm due 2 weeks tomorrow

Felt weird saying to people at the school of see them at some point next week with a baby! Eeek!

annelid still waiting here, I'm due 20/12 too. But I was a big, late baby so am expecting to have a big, late baby and will probably still be here towards new year.
Had my growth scan today and everything looks fine, they kept going on about his 'good size'. Was going to go buy my nursing bras today but the shop never opened.

Mine also seems to have been very long...had every blooming symptom there is

Also been to town today and walked around for only couple of hours but now feel like I've been booted straight in the fanjo and having tightenings again!! Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me and my old decrepit body

hormonal I get bad pains if I'm up and about for too long. Doesn't seem to be shifting baby though lol.

38+5 today. Baby on mon/tues. gotta make a to do before baby comes list lol.

Been in hospital for 5 hours now, excess fluid so waiting to see doctor. Baby is spinning around like a 20 weeker not 37 weeker. Update you all later when I catch up with what has happened today.

I'm due Weds and the whole world has thought she would have been here by now, which adds to the misery of plodding on. I would do anything to meet her now! Not so much as a twinge today. Stubborn madam. Takes after her late lazy father!

I'm home. Still not got PET, they think it's anxiety. Maybe from being dragged back to the hospital all the time!

Midwife coming to the house in Monday to check bp again. Totally fed up and cried all afternoon.

Thanks Bella for the advice, will give it a go tonight. Also discovered that he can be settled for short periods in the car seat, which rocks, so giving that a go too, gives me little breaks from holding him.

Balls up somewhere between the hospital and community midwife means I haven't been seen today and had a very panicky midwife apologising over the phone. Oh well, we aren't doing too badly and had a couple of wet nappies so getting there.
