I had such horrible dreams last night. I woke up believing that my lovely Mister had left me. It's still making me cry just thinking about it!

Equimum · 06/12/2012 08:59

Congratulation Flumpy, and another gorgeous name. Hope you're both doing well.

Good luck sstrawberry

ellliebelle · 06/12/2012 09:03

clarella good luck with mw this morning hope shes a nice one and can help iron out some of your worries/confusion you definately have to decide whats right for you.

Good luck for today strawb hope things go like your last induction which sounds like it was a good one. Will be waiting for baby news :)

Sorry to all those not sleeping :( im actually worried about how little sleep ill get with a newborn as sleep hasnt really been an issue for me during pregnancy (think thats why i was so disapointed on sunday night when i was having pains and not able to sleep as thought something must be happening)

Well in seeing diabetic consultant thismorning armed with nice guidelines and other research to discuss homebirth :)

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 06/12/2012 09:06

Clarella my baby is right down but cervix very posterior. See how we go! I think things can change very quickly.

Good luck Emily and Ellie (still reading back!!)

brooke89 · 06/12/2012 10:26

Good luck walnut

Secondsop · 06/12/2012 10:32

Congratulations flumpy!

clarella my induction was an early induction (at 38 weeks) so nothing had really happened before it in terms of my body starting to prepare itself for labour. But all I needed was the prostaglandin gel and a few hours later my labour had started (although I didn't realise it at the time) and then progressed extremely rapidly. No waters broken, no drip. So everyone's experience is different - whether or not you've reached a particular stage beforehand doesn't necessarily affect how quickly or well your induction might go. Hope you make a decision that you're happy with, and good luck!!

StrawberrytallCAKE · 06/12/2012 10:38

Ok just had the gel in. Midwife is lovely and let me have has and air when she did it. Waiting for something to happen now.......

emilyeggs · 06/12/2012 10:51

strawb so exciting!

SpottyTeacakes · 06/12/2012 10:56

Mmmm gas & air Grin

StrawberrytallCAKE · 06/12/2012 11:06

Gas and air rocks, puffed a little bit too hard and felt slightly nauseous afterwards but it was worth it. She said 'I've got my finger on your baby's head' and I said 'would you mind taking it off please?' embarrassing gas and air talk already.

Walnut8 · 06/12/2012 11:08

I want gas and air! :) have now got five puncture marks and no cannula. Effing veins

SpottyTeacakes · 06/12/2012 11:16

I've still got bruises on my arms from the bloody cannula attempts! Apparently I have jumpy veins Hmm
