Good luck Mamapo - it's totally natural to be anxious, even when yoy know you're doing the best thing. Would also second what others have said about the shock of it actually happening, whether it's planned or spontaneous.

Well, first day alone with both boys was fine. DS1 had more than the usual permitted cbeebies quota but sure it'll be ok as a one-off. He was getting a little bit stair crazy by the end of the day, but the weather was foul so didn't brave first pram and toddler-wrangling experience. Tomorrow however come what may we venture out!

I feel massively bloated, heavy, sick and uncomfortable, I kicked DP off the sofa and now I'm propped up with cushions feeling sorry for myself. Felt a few movements but he's still pretty quiet and I just want to cry.

Well, my BP is still really high so it's a night in hospital I'm afraid. Next time I see my home I'll have a BABY. This is so so weird.

Lucky I had a lovely weekend with my husband. Would have liked another night alone with him but it was not to be...
