ohgood so sorry to hear about your scan. It must be awful knowing something's wrong but not what or how bad, especially with having to wait three whole days to find out. At least you should know more before Christmas and I really hope it's good news.
Managed to survive my work do last night. Fortunately it was at one of those "buffet" style places which suited my current need to "graze" rather than have big meals. Don't think I could have faced a full on Christmas dinner! I let the news slip to one trusted colleague who I was giving a lift too as well (mainly as I was worried I might start retching in the car and didn't want her to think I had the norovirus!). She said she already had her suspicions - think the sudden declining of tea/coffee and constant supply of snacks had something to do with it!
Off to the GP this morning. Spoke too soon about managing to avoid the cystitis
. Does anyone know if it's too early for the uterus to start pressing on the bladder and causing problems? I don't know but as well as the usual hallmarks of a water infection there has definitely been something weird going on with my waterworks for the last week or so - eg. feeling like I need a really big wee and then only a trickle comes out, or sometimes needing to go and not being able to at all. Will mention it to the Doc anyway...
Have a good day - my last at work until 3rd January woohooo! Hope everyone else is getting a decent break too.
