CottonSock · 07/12/2012 18:38

I'm sorry, Rancer I hadn't seen your post when I jumped in all insensitive.

Have changed date for Wifey. I think there are some ladies that are on the list that had to leave us.. I know I was glad when someone removed me last time, but will leave it a few days in case anyone shouts otherwise.

Take care everyone..

Hi all, could someone re-add me? 12th July -dc4 I think I got dropped at the beginning of this thread!
Anyone else got pregnancy fatigue? I know my life is a million miles an hour anyway with 3 dc's and full time working but I am ready for bed now and it's only 7pm! I am fine most of the day just gets to about 5 and I am ready to sleeeeeeep!
Have my booking in Tuesday and scan on 27th. Although I am counting down the days until 2nd trimester just so that I can actually start doing something, we are running out of clothes and my children are starting to think Im a lazy cow!!

twirliedobbit · 07/12/2012 19:30

Ok, I managed to do it!!!

MightBeMad · 07/12/2012 20:00

Rancer I'm so sorry to hear that Sad Look after yourself x

MightBeMad · 07/12/2012 20:01

Ellie, it's a case of 'be careful what you wish for'! Wink

Thinkingof4 · 07/12/2012 20:54

rancer sorry to hear that, take care

mightbemad I had a cyst showed up on my scan too

orange congrats on the scan

I finally had my booking appt yesterday (at 10weeks) mw made a jokey comment about having to double check if it was really me having another baby. I've known her for years but for some reason it really upset me and I thought I was going to burst into tears. Stupid hormones, I just feel a bit sensitive about being judged about having 4 kids. Dh says to ignore everyone else as only what we think matters and I know he's right but still! The good thing is she was hopeful I'll get my scan before Christmas. Exciting!!

esme80 · 07/12/2012 21:45

rancer Im so sorry, take care of yourself.

thinking do people really judge you for having 4 kids? How rediculous! Your husband is absolutely right, it doesnt matter what anyone else thinks! On a selfish note, I think its great that there are a few that have a larger family on this thread, would be great to get some advice on what its like bringing another baby home, this is my second dc. Havent quite wrapped my head around the fact that, if all goes well, I will have 2 to keep up with!

flyingsprocket · 07/12/2012 21:53

So sorry rancer

Thinkingof4 · 07/12/2012 22:54

Thanks esme I'm really glad there are a few of us expecting no 4 or 5 on this thread, makes me feel right at home! Nice to think we can all help each other out as our pregnancies progress

Cheeseandbread · 08/12/2012 06:15

Congratulations to those that have had scans- very exciting!

Sorry to those that have had to leave the thread/ hope you are back on another one soon.

MrsWildermac I think you were worrying about lack of symptoms. I worry too. Only achy boobs and bloated and tired in the evenings (generally tired after work although I think it has got worse). We are all different though so I'm trying not to worry that I don't have many symptoms... Still a niggle at the back of my mind though that somehow it is not real

I'm feeling a little more official as I have booking in appointment booked for 21st Devember (I think someone else said they had that date too?). I also have booked a private scan for Christmas Eve as I know all my relivites will get it out of me that I'm pregnant and I want some reassurance before they do. I'll be 10 weeks by then so should be able to see something resembling a baby shouldn't I? Those having earlier than 12 week scans what have you been able to see?

I hope everyone has good weekends.

Cutandstick · 08/12/2012 06:35

rancer I'm so sorry to hear you're out, big hugs x

cheese I had a scan at EPU this week and was 10 weeks, it moved about, had little arms it jiggled and you could even see a nose shape! Way different from the bean with a heart I saw at 7 weeks! So yes, definitely a baby. It's definitely DPs baby as it looked like it was dancing wildly and is bigger than predicted... He is from a BIG family, and I don't mean quantity I should have thought of the practicalities of the exit before it got put in there!!! Ahh!!

mightbe my scan showed a burst cyst this week, just free fluid, doesn't effect the baby - have done some reading as prone to them myself and hormone level changes mean they go down of their own accord Smile

Have a good weekend all. I want my Christmas tree!! Xmas Smile

Cheeseandbread · 08/12/2012 07:00

cutandstick you have just given me butterflies! How exciting. I just want the next couple of weeks to hurry up.

wifey6 · 08/12/2012 07:19

cutandstick...aww that's wonderful..must have been lovely!
15 days til my 12 week scan..counting the days. Get seen before Xmas which will be nice.

rancer...so sorry. Take care.

Can't believe how common the pelvic pain is for everyone. MW looked at me like I was crazy!

twirliedobbit · 08/12/2012 07:21

thinking don't worry about people's reactions, those that have a bad reaction are just strange, 4 kids is a perfect number an only one more than three, which is deemed quite normal....there used to be a thread on here somewhere about witty replies to those strange people that find 4 so shocking.

esme to be honest I found the jump from one to two the most difficult? No that is the wrong word....I found it the biggest change, just having two little bods dependant on you, it's quite overwhelming , as is the realisation that just when you thought you couldn't love anyone more than your dc1....along comes dc2 and somehow your love capacity just doubles!!!
Amazing!!

paolocee · 08/12/2012 07:32

Cheeseandbread We had a 7 week scan and could only (ha! It was wonderful) see two wee blobs with heartbeats. By 10 weeks I think it would be a lot clearer. Might even look a little like a baby. Grin

mysterymeg · 08/12/2012 08:01

After my scary week last week my spotting stopped on Thursday and scan yesterday showed a perfect little 9 week baby in there Grin bringing my due date forward to 12 July.

I now feel comfortable enough to add myself to the list but have tried and failed to get my phone to copy and paste properly for at least an hour (major exaggeration) could someone take pity on me please??

Cheeseandbread · 08/12/2012 08:01

Paolocee two blobs must have been amazing. A truly breath taking moment. With twins on both sides we will just have to wait and see what our scan shows on Christmas Eve...

Cutandstick · 08/12/2012 11:22

paolocee did you say two? Oh my goodness, how exciting!! Was it a complete surprise? Smile

photographerlady · 08/12/2012 11:31

Morning all. Had my booking appointment, such nice people I feel bad we are moving to Salisbury soon as my midwife seems so nice and the GP is so helpful. Hopefully I will get the same when we move.

Beaditsback · 08/12/2012 11:50

Just found the new thread. Can't believe how busy it is as the thread I was on when pg with Ds was way smaller.
Booking in app on Wed and so looking forward to it. For those of you having private/early scans, what do they cost roughly and are they done at NHS hospitals?
I still have constant nausea and am so tired but I think that is due to work too.
So sorry for those out of the thread Sad take care x

Beaditsback · 08/12/2012 11:51

photo my cousin has just had her dd in Salisbury. Think she loves it there!
