Fx for you and fighting bean littleB

SevenElvesAndAReindeer · 01/12/2012 18:06

little when do you next have to go back, how often will you be monitored? I don't believe so I can't pray, but I'm wishing on every star in the sky you get your miracle.

It's very scary how easy it is to forget how even after having a good scan things can still go wrong. And to think I was moaning about not being able to have Brie FGS.

Rhienne · 01/12/2012 18:48

Oh LittleB. I'm so sorry to hear that! Sending all my best wishes. Take care of yourself and your DH.

LittleBairn · 01/12/2012 18:50

seven it is scary I hadn't realised how much I let my guard down after the 12 week scan.
I'm back in on Tuesday morning for a scan to see if there is still a heartbeat and then again on Friday for another scan. But it will be a few weeks before we can tell if I'm developing new waters.
I've been told sometimes this can go on for weeks and weeks before the baby gives up or i could go into labour at any moment.

Rhienne · 01/12/2012 18:54

Oh LB. That's a big load to bear. Here's hoping for good news. Are you on bed rest until then? Do you have things to keep you occupied, books to read, DVDs to watch?

LittleBairn · 01/12/2012 19:39

rhienne well I've put myself on bed rest because I know that helps but the consultant didn't seem to think it was important, I got the impression she feels there is no chance of survival.
I've got my iPad so books, tv,net all in one.

Im just googling, reading success stories for 1% percentres but so far I havent managed to find a story that mentions Zero waters.

Forgot to add, yesterday when I had an examination my cervix was closed up tight, she could barely find it. But I did realise later just how much smaller my stomach had shrunk too.
I've never been so glad to be fat at least the baby has a little protection!

tasmaniandevilchaser · 01/12/2012 19:58

little good your cervix is closed, have they put you on antibiotics? It's so hard, horrible when you have no control over any of it. Hope that you and your DH have lots of support.

jenpenod · 01/12/2012 20:07

Not been on here all day. Thinking of you little and hoping for a miracle. Take care...

ArtigeneAuberchoke · 01/12/2012 20:20

LittleB - I'm so sorry to hear your news. I will keep everything crossed that you and BabyB are in the 1%. There is always hope. Can you do anything to improve your chances? Can I ask how you knew your waters broke? Was it different to wetting yourself (in both my previous labours I didn't notice!).

Can you all recognise who I am despite my namechange?

Picklep · 01/12/2012 20:34

littleb I'm so sorry, what a shock. But what a little fighter, I have everything crossed that all will be OK. I have read that babies can survive with no amniotic fluid. You are in my thoughts and I hope you are getting the support you need. Sending hugs and so many positive vibes xx

GeordieCherry · 01/12/2012 20:53

LB thoughts are with you & little LB. x

LittleBairn · 01/12/2012 20:54

tasman no antibiotics at the moment showing no sign of infection in fact I seem completely normal other than I've lost all my amniotic fluid.

artigene I noticed straight away it was my waters. Ironically I was on the phone to midwife making my 16 week appointment came off the phone stood up and I gushed my waters and bloody fluid. But I realised it was my waters going.
It's like water trickling down your legs without any 'feelings' of when your having a wee.

For all my concerns regarding medics, hospitals and birth I have to say the hospital has been fantastic. DH has been truly amazing.

Thank you everyone for your kind wishes and thoughts, and yes to get this far my little bairn is one kick ass baby.

CatchingMockingbirds · 01/12/2012 22:51

We're all thinking of you xxx

(I'm a namechanger, not a random lurker incase you were confused)

SeaSalt1 · 02/12/2012 08:48

LittleB, I have only just read your news - so sad you are going through this, I'm thinking (and praying - hope that doesn't offend) for you. You have a little fighter in there. Remember the 1% is there for a reason - because it exists and your little one can be in it. Don't google too much and rest up, we're all here whenever you need support (I'm 8 hours ahead of you here too so you might even catch me in the middle of your night if you need some hand holding when others are asleep).

SevenElvesAndAReindeer · 02/12/2012 08:54

How are you feeling this morning littleb?

berri when is your next scan btw?

seven I feel ok, not much bleeding (mostly old blood) and not in any pain.
I even had morning sickness!

So how's everyone's else's pregnacy going?
Don't let my situation stop you lot chatting, I'm the biggest moaner of us all I would usually be posting about my sickness and acid reflux. Blush

cuppateaandagingersnap · 02/12/2012 10:16

little I've got my fingers tightly crossed for you, such a horrible situation, sending you, your DH and your little bairn lots of love, xx

LittleBairn · 02/12/2012 10:59

Right must nap, may as well since I'm stuck in bed.

tasmaniandevilchaser · 02/12/2012 13:41

wilderumpus · 02/12/2012 14:26

MooLL · 02/12/2012 19:29

littleB like others I've logged on for the first time in days and so sad to hear your news ... All I can do is echo the well wishes of others and the importance of staying positive ....take care of yourself x

berri · 02/12/2012 19:38

Hi LittleBairn I've not been around all weekend so only just logged on and seen this.

I've got absolutely everything crossed for you and your little one. I hope you are managing to rest ok and keep your strength up with meals etc.

If there's anything any of us can do, or just chat on here, please just do. Like SeaSalt said, some of us are around at funny times due to being around the world, so feel free to pm me if you can't sleep and I might be logged on!

Hang in there.

Seven my next scan's not until 12th - no bleeding for 2.5 weeks so hopefully it's healed up ok.

Hi to everyone else and newbie Betsy - let's all have a collective Brew and send positive thoughts to LB.
