I am so sorry lyft and pseudobadger.

spiderlight · 01/12/2012 22:24

So very sorry, Lyft and Pseudobadger. Thinking of you both :(

Glad all's well for you, Sparkly!

I've been having some very light brown spotting. I think it's just breakthrough bleeding but I'll be happier once I've had my scan on Tuesday.

Little9 · 02/12/2012 09:51

Lyft and Pseudo. I am so very sorry for your losses. Be gentle with yourselves and give yourselves time to heal and grieve. Big hugs.

Sparkly - great news on the scan.

Only 4 days to my scan on Friday. FX (and anything else I can get crossed for all to be ok). Today I am pregnant!

Hello and waves to everyone else. :)

Fidget275 · 02/12/2012 09:56

Aww, so sad to see sad news on here... Thinking of you both. I really am counting the days until my scan, i'm a complete bag of nerves, worries and what if's!! Wont sleep easy until its done. Only a weeks and 3 days to go!
Congrats to sparkle - really pleased to hear your good news, altho now we are no longer date buddies!! (tbc Wink)
Take care everyone! Xx

Fidget275 · 02/12/2012 09:59
  • sparkly (sorry!) xx
DontmindifIdo · 02/12/2012 11:17

So sorry for the loss news, it's hard, take care of yourselves, from someone who's been there (in July) keep your iron intake up, drink lots of fluids and don't try to be brave, let people know, and take as much time off work as you need. (Also, I've been told I got pregnant again a bit too soon so they are a little more worried about this pregnancy, in hindsight I probably should have left it 3 or so months).

Sparkly, great news!

looneytune · 02/12/2012 11:31

Hi everyone. Been a long time since I came on here as been quite nervous about the pg being ok, even though I did see a heartbeat at 8 weeks. Got my scan on Friday so will feel better once that is over and done with!

I'm so sorry to hear sad news from some of you, please take care and I agree to take as much time as you need to recover. I mc 10 years ago and it knocked me for six even though it was earlier on so just don't overdo it. And I agree it's probably best to wait a little while before ttc to ensure your body is ready. Be kind to yourselves and good luck for the future.

Little9 - I see you're also having a scan on Friday, good luck with yours :)

MrsBri · 02/12/2012 12:09

Ah, looney...you're so like me. I saw the heartbeat at 8 weeks too, but am still worried. Think it is natural.

Good luck with your scan. Mine is the following Tuesday.

looneytune · 02/12/2012 12:17

Glad I'm not the only one! It's weird as I was so upset when I found out I was pg again but now I want this more than anything. I've told parents of the children I look after and they've all been lovely but lots are leaving me at Christmas (some nothing to do with pg, just change of jobs - sad as had them 5/6 years). Will stay in touch with everyone and I'll see lots of the kiddies at school but my income will be down £1300 per month from January! I part wish I hadn't told them as feel like all this change could jinx things (silly I know), I really hoped there would be no drastic changes until I'd had my 12 week scan but fingers crossed all will be fine. Think it's the lack of feeling pregnant that made it worse as the nausea stopped at about 9 weeks. Still tired and emotional though so hopefully that's a good sign. Good luck with your scan. No doubt we'll still worry after that (I know I worried all the way through with my other 2 although gets better once you can actually feel them move in there :))

dreamydays · 02/12/2012 16:35

So sorry lyft and pseudo. Look after yourselves. And good luck for lovely successful pregnancies in the future. xx

Little9 · 02/12/2012 18:10

Yes, looney. Friday we will know if little one is still alive and well. Good luck with yours too. Mine's at 8.45 in the morning so at least not long to wait. I'm like you and even though saw heartbeat at 10 and a half weeks am still worrying. I haven't really had any nausea or ms (didn't last time either) but still feel I'm in limbo land as can't feel anything yet and probably wouldn't be able to hear beartbeat yet so just.....waiting!

Good luck for a week on Tues MrsBri also and anyone else having scans soon.

webminx · 02/12/2012 19:21

Oh so sorry for you both Lyft and Pseudo :(. Be kind to yourself and don't feel you should "get on with things" before you're really ready - take all the time you need and don't be shy about it! Take care and very best wishes if you want to go for it again in the future!

CuriosityCola · 02/12/2012 19:38

Good luck for those with scans this week.

I had three days respite from ms and it has now reappeared again. Was sick out the side of the car today, once by the side of the road and once in a car park. Plus was really sick in m&s. I need a bump so I don't just look like I'm ill or drunkSmile

How is everyone else managing?

mrs bri I can't access the other thread (or just mumming) due to the new application update. Say hi to everyone for me please.

MrsBri · 02/12/2012 19:54

Ooh, Cola, puking out of the car is classy! ;-p

I've come close though, it has to be said.

I had my worst day for ms yesterday...threw up in the shower twice. Equally classy!

The MN app seems to have mixed reviews. Think I'll avoid it for now.

CuriosityCola · 02/12/2012 21:53

Definitely avoid. The app is terrible. I can't get on my usual threads, brackets makes sentences disappear and it keeps crashing. Plus it has weird smilies Confused

AlohaMama · 03/12/2012 04:21

Not been keeping up for a while, so just caught up on all the news. So sorry to lyft and pseudo. Really thinking of you both, please take care.

Glad to hear others are doing well and there have been scans aplenty. Not feeling too bad here, the morning sickness is finally actually just in the morning rather than all day, so pretty happy about that!

cola can fully sympathise - had the same car issue a couple of weeks ago. The only thing I could find to hand to throw up into was ds's wet-bag for his cloth diapers. Happy to confirm it is fully waterproof!!

Hope everyone starts feeling better now we're reaching our 2nd trimester.

CuriosityCola · 03/12/2012 08:10

Thanks for the sympathy and some back at everyone. I didn't have time to grab anything in the car. We had pulled over to adjust ds's car seat straps. I lent back and then nearly threw up on dh's lap. Gave him quite a fright, haha.

I have my scan on Thursday, so time appears to have come to a standstill. Who else has scans this week?

CuriosityCola · 03/12/2012 08:13

Lyfty hope you are getting lots of tlc this week. I know it doesn't make your current situation any better, but my sil had a molar pregnancy (sounds similar to what you described) and now has two gorgeous dc. Hope it happens quickly for you when you are ready again.

redwellybluewelly · 03/12/2012 09:17

So sorry Lyfty and Psuedo, I really am, I hope you have plenty of people around you to support you.

I have my scan on Wednesday when I will be 13w - I then have to have high risk clinic afterwards. Luckily DH is on A/L all week and I have told my bosses I am working from home on and off. DC1 was complete trauma last night and I got about 2 hours sleep, we have every trade under the sun in and out of the house this week to try and get the house a bit more finished before Christmas and we are raiding our piggy bank to visit an auction house tomorrow for new furniture.

Without wishing to be insensitive I am not bonding with this baby and growing bump at all, I'm not sure I will think its real until the baby is in my arms yelling its head off and we are home.

suzyrut · 03/12/2012 09:19

badger and lyfty am so sorry to hear your news, please take care of yourselves.

I'm glad to hear there is other good news, this is such an up and down time. I'm off to the hospital this afternoon for the second attempt at a CVS. Not feeling very confident they'll be able to do it, have even gone into work today.

redwellybluewelly · 03/12/2012 09:20

Good luck Suzy - I will be thinking of you

MrsJLS85 · 03/12/2012 11:06

so sorry to badger and lyfty. take care and rest

Good luck suzy with second attempt today

I'm 14 weeks now, and this is when MS ended last time, but am still violently sick every morning :( Hope it ends soon!!

CuriosityCola · 03/12/2012 14:35

Good luck Suzy. Will be thinking of you.

welly I think that is completely normal. I didn't really bond with my first one until I found out the sex at the 20 week scan. Feel the same this time. It weirds me out when dh already wants to pat my stomach and speak to it.

Dillydollydaydream · 03/12/2012 14:54

Good luck suzy hope they manage to do the cvs today.

MrsJLS sorry to hear you're still feeling ill. Hopefully that'll improve soon.

welly I had my scan on Thursday and wasn't as excited as I thought I'd be. I had a mc In April which I was gutted about so this time I've spent everyday convinced I'd miscarry again. I was shocked when there was a baby on the scan. Hopefully it'll seem more real soon but at the moment I can't imagine having a baby at the end.

DontmindifIdo · 03/12/2012 15:22

Good luck suzy.

I had my scan today. they've moved me up to a due date of 10th June. Not a very cooperative baby, I had to jump up and down twice trying to get it to move into a decent position.

And even more excitingly, DH has said he's coming round to my suggestion of "Benedict" as a boys name.
