Thanks everyone, your positive stories are helping as I'm feeling quite bleak now. I'm at the doctor waiting for my appt.

How's it going badger has the doctor referred you?

SunnyL · 30/11/2012 11:02

Had my booking appointment this morning - I've got a male midwife which is a bit different (does that make him a Midhusband?). I didn't have an issue with it until my sister mentioned he might have to do some 'rummaging' as things progress. We'll see how I feel about that nearer the time.

The main b**r is getting blood out of my arms. He had to resort to pouring blood from one tube to another cos he could only get one full tube of blood out. Thankfully I'm not squeamish.

PseudoBadger · 30/11/2012 11:48

She's referred me to the EPU, but apparently the way it works here is that she has to fax them, then they call me when they can see me. If I don't hear by this afternoon I have to call the doctor back.

Well they called and the earliest scan appointment is on Monday :( sonive taken that and they've said if things get worse to go to A&E

badger what a nightmare, waiting is like torture. Like you said to me last Friday be kind to yourself!

When I had my bleed with my son I bought a new jilly cooper and took myself off to bed for the weekend as I couldn't get a scan appointment till the Monday either, he was my first though so it was easy to do.

Are there any private places that could see you today or even at the weekend? You're London aren't you?

PseudoBadger · 30/11/2012 14:08

I think if the worst has happened I'd feel terrible unleashing that on some poor 'civilian' sonographer! I'm in bed now as DS is napping.

Thinking of you Badger - if it's any help, with both successful pregnancies, I've bled for at least a month on and off, sometimes like a heavy period. The pg I didn't bleed in ended with a mmc. Go figure!

And I'm pleased to report after last nights worrying that I've had my nuchal scan and all appears well - I thought it'd be a big relief but to be honest I just feel flat, can't get excited at all.

My new EDD is 2nd June, so I'll update the stats thread when I can get on the computer this evening.

spiderlight · 30/11/2012 15:35

Thinking of you, Badger. It'll be a long weekend for you. Go to A&E if it gets any worse though.

llamallama · 30/11/2012 19:11

Hope all is well Badger, thinking of you.

I had my scan today and have jumped forward 4 days to 9th June and will be 13 weeks tomorrow. Yay to the second trimester! Next scan booked for end of January.

All looked well on the scan, baby is 6cm long! It's weird to see another little one in there! Starting to tell friends now which is actually more exciting than it was first time around!

Little9 · 30/11/2012 19:55

Hello all. Just caught up with thread. Don't seem to had much time lately to get on here. Been too busy sleeping! I should be 12 weeks today hopefully. Boobs are still mega sore and think I may have given the game away at work as was prodding them without even thinking about it (luckily on the ladies noticed!!) Blush. My ever widening belly is also not easy to hide!

Good luck for Monday Badger. Hope all is well. I've also been getting brown blood for the last feww weeks. Had a scan because of it last week and all was well, so there is hope. Although I am starting to worry a bit as it is carrying on. Have my 12 week scan next Friday so hoping all will still be well. I should be 12 weeks today hopefully.

I'm the same as you rue. Hoping this rainbow stays in there and alive this time until full term!

Take care everyone and have a good weekend.

Lyftiduft · 30/11/2012 20:40

Hi, glad to see there's been some good news on here, fingers crossed for everyone who's waiting for news.

Unfortunately I don't have good news- I had my 12 week scan today and we discovered that the baby has not developed properly, and is therefore non-viable. I'll be going for a termination next week. The problem is apparently very rare and just one of those things- nothing we could have done differently.

Good luck to you all and I hope you all have happy and healthy pregnancies x

Sunbeam18 · 30/11/2012 22:56

I'm so so sorry, Lyft x x
