Don't feel silly chunky - I've been moaning since 38 weeks!!

Are you at QEQM DH - sounds very nice. good luck :)

cacacaz i'd be pretty hurt by that too, doesn't take much to get a card out on time.

I'm off to bed - night all...

I hate this constant throwing up. When I'm not physically being sick I feel like I could be at any second. Yuck. This is so much worse than ms was in the first few months Sad

Cacacaz I would be hurt by that too, hormones or no. It's the thought that counts afterall...

Poor you MissMummy I hate being sick, it must be miserable.

Yes, Detective all spontaneous & natural last time. And I remember my first car had its rear window smashed by some vandal and it was devastating. It was only a Austin maestro and an old one at that, but I LOVED that car. My Dad bought a new rear door from the scrap yard (cheaper than just replacing the heated rear window) so I drove around in a blue car with a yellow-green boot!!

And I can understand why you would want things to be different and how anxious you must be getting. I didn't have a bad time of it with DD but the main reason I want a HB is to avoid the stressful situation that occurred with her. If things seemed to go 'wrong' last time, you must feel you want to get it 'right' this time. What would you say to a woman in your care who was in your situation? Would that help you to manage your anxiety? Other than that, I can only manage some boring platitudes; what will be, will be, A healthy baby & mummy is what matters, there's still time etc etc.

Thanks Chunky! I guess I would tell me to chill the fuck out and that it will happen - it happened last time, so it should happen this time.

As it is, I'm hoping these are actualtractions (copyright to Peaky!) because they are 1:8 for the last 1 1/2 hours. I just know it will all fizzle out again though :(

Sending DP out for food supplies. In case.

He may not be allowed back in though. Since he just asked me, how long will it be before you know if this is really it or not. I have to be up for work early otherwise, and I want to go to bed. Angry

I'm not sure he thought about that before he said it... least I hope he didn't! Hmm

Have you had a sweep yet btw?

I could kill him. He has his phone tonight but has clearly forgotten to deactivate the setting that switches the damn thing off at 10pm Angry. I've had a few twinges tonight. 99% sure it's nothing but want a moan to him about how sick I feel. (and to say goodnight of course... Hmm )

Relax Detective (if your DP will let you & not insist on a constant progress report Wink ) and it will happen. PMA and all that!!!

TheDetective · 09/11/2012 22:59

He has told his mum - because she will come over for DS when needed. So then the texts started, tell her to move about etc.

I was lying on the sofa on my side. Things seemed to be hotting up. Every time I have moved when I have had them before, they fizzled out. He nagged me to get on the ball. I've moved. They are crap now. ARGHHH.

jaylee89 congrats!!

18 boys and 12 girls, it?s interesting to have the stats! Thanks fatima.

passme good luck to your sister. I laughed at the card you got from your gp!! And people will be giving you advice about the birth/baby from here on! Just ignore.

jims congrats!!

peaky thinking of you, fingers crossed.

debussyhead oh poor you! Fingers crossed for you as well.

dh21 oh bless you, you will be fine.

detective I?m sure you?re frustrated, try and stay positive. Imagine the borth you want and it might just happen (sorry if that sounds trite, but focus and picture it, it might happen, I hope it does for you). ((hugs))

eliza congrats!!

I?m grumpy, the bagels were mouldy so not much for breakfast here, and now DH is doing the washing up (coz the dishwasher is off being repaired) and he is washing one item at a time ? it?s hard to describe but he has the tap running and washes one item with the sponge. Why doesn?t he fill the sink up and wash a load of stuff all at once? I am sitting on my hands and desperately trying not to question him. It seems the most stupid possible way of washing up. Argh! His mum was emailed today asking us if any of our friends would like a copy of the calendar they have made this year. They take a load of crappy family snaps and create a calendar out of them, they have done it the last two years ? when we get our copy I roll my eyes. Just coz you have a big camera and have printed your photos off does not mean that they are great photos!! They are just snaps. We never really even look at them as they are a record of their year ? and I?ll be honest I'm not interested!! (I?m being very bitchy and it feels GOOD). Last year they sent us photos that had be taken at school (they work in a school ? that?s why they print these bloody calendars because they are printed for free?! Free for them anyway). So perhaps our friends will not give a shiny shite about having a calendar.

missmummy ((hugs)) for you, the sickness must be pretty rough.

detective can you tell him that you need quiet support and not to be told what to do. Tell him you need to go into yourself and that any outside interuptions will slow the process down. All polite things - when really you wanna yell FUCK OFF. Grin

TheDetective · 09/11/2012 23:13

He is nagging me about going to bed... FGS. Get a grip dear.

I think I'll tell him to go to his mums, I'll be more relaxed alone Grin

They're about 1:10 now, and not lasting as long.... siiiiiiiigh!

Report
Iheartpasties · 09/11/2012 23:21

well tell him being nagged is counter productive. A calm, reasuring and loving atmosphere is what is needed.

TheDetective · 09/11/2012 23:25

I'm just going to go to bed, and hope to god to be woken up by even stronger ones. They are still in the period pain type relm, some I need to breath through, others not.

Cheese on toast first though....

My fucking sister has just put on FB that I must be having the baby soon as she is having the sympathy pains that she has had with every labour and that it is not fun. I am not in labour and want to murder the stupid cow!! Honestly my sister is so much of a drama queen that she has even managed to make my pregnancy about her. Also I do not want my life spread out on fB. So bloody angry!!!

Brockle · 09/11/2012 23:36

I think I need to start saying that I will definitely be here until the end of November. The two people on here who have mentioned that have both had their labours start pretty quickly!! (YW and dh21), so I am going with that tactic from now on.

I shall be here until the end of November!!!!! :)

Aargh brockle that sounds utterly infuriating. Distract yourself . . . A Crunchie?

pasties that seems to have been pretty effective so far. The mantra should be "I will be here for weeks!"

Sister has had baby! Wee boy. Lovely weight of exactly 7Ib after her being warned all throughout that she was going to have a very large baby. Maybe that means mine will be a whopper rather than the wee froggy I am being predicted.

Been a bit tearful and emotional this evening. Can't mention it to DH as I will blub and I don't want to. I think he finds it hard to believe when I say that there is nothing actually wrong.

Lying in bed on my side. Cat is stretched out along my side using my arse and bump as bolsters. Need to shift her sadly for her as I need a wee

brockle I don't think some people even realise how annoying they are. I do not blame you for being fuming though, I would be. I'm feeling annoyed with my MIL because she has been going on about a calendar!!?

Ah, she spontaneously shifted herself. Excellent
