Lol they can't win when we're heavily preg and hormonal!

Baby is head spinning on my bladder again making me wince, it stings!

applepieinthesky · 06/11/2012 19:13

Lovely to hear from you tits and glad you are healing well.

I'm getting lots of period type pains this evening but I had this 10 days ago as well so not hopeful. Only 38+4. Boo!

TheDetective · 06/11/2012 19:16

It is like living in limbo now...! Like a ticking time bomb... BOOM!!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/11/2012 19:20

I,ve just told DH unless it ramps up amazingly he should go to the office tomorrow. Was a bit different today he was supposed to be 100 miles up the m40.

This has happened before, was like this for 48 hours with DD2 doesn't make it any less frustrating.

Is good you have cover for the school run detective that should help you to be able to relax a bit.
Xx

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/11/2012 19:21

welcome home tits glad Jonathon is doing so well.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/11/2012 19:21

I wish i would go BOOM

TheDetective · 06/11/2012 19:52

DP got home in a record 18 minutes.

I think he was worried... awwwww!

I've had my whinge. He said I'm all antsy. Hmpf. I feel bad because he is on edge - but I can't make something happen!!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 06/11/2012 20:01

That's how I feel detectve

ShellyBobbs · 06/11/2012 20:14

Right, that's all the carpets shampoo'd, if I see another flee then the cat is going, I'm sick of it!

Sophia It was just the 1 flea I found this time, but in summer we had an infestation from the stupid cat.

Peaky Thanks, yesterday it started to split everywhere too, so was getting quite worried, full of little cuts now Grin

Nearly completed my blanket, it's the first thing I've ever knitted in my life apart from a dishcloth once when I was 10. It is very shit and uneven, but I'm secretly very proud Grin

Good work on the stats list Fatima, must have taken yonks!

WaitingForMe · 06/11/2012 20:31

Thanks for the good wishes. DHs interview went well (he thinks) but someone expected to be on the panel wasn't and instead they're scheduling that interview for some time next week. This is not good for our mental health!

I spent the afternoon at a friends' and she kept thinking I was going into labour (she has two kids) so I feel a bit better about all the stopping and starting. I was feeling like it was all in my head but she says I moved like a labouring woman. Her 3 month old is an absolute delight, really can't wait to have my own.

misslaughalot · 06/11/2012 20:47

Ah wow, good luck to all of you who are experiencing first symptoms! Hope things get properly going for you all soon!

Was round at DP's mums today, and she was babysitting his nephew who is 20 months old. He kept coming over to my tummy, putting his hands on it gently, then resting his ear on it like he was trying to listen in! So cute to see from a little one who can't quite talk yet! Am looking forward to when they can play with each other!

DesperateHousewife21 · 06/11/2012 20:52

Ds keeps saying the baby is coming here soon and knows all the things like Moses basket, swing, clothes are all for the baby.
I feel like I'm keeping HIM waiting now because I keep saying she'll be here soon and obv in his mind its a lifetime!

He'll prob be jealous or not fussed when she does eventually get here anyway!

Dixiebell · 06/11/2012 21:39

DH, same with my DS (he's 25 mths). He's very patient tho. Keeps saying 'mummy got big baby in there...not come out yet'. And 'must be gentle'. So sweet, I hope it lasts once DS2 arrives...

Elizadoesdolittle · 06/11/2012 21:40

Fab work on the stats lists fatima. It's great to see a list of arrivals all in one place as I lose track of who has had their baby and I love seeing all the names together.

I can't believe it's only the 6th today, god this month is dragging!

FatimaLovesBread · 06/11/2012 21:48

Thanks for all the thanks re. the stats list. It kept me occupied for a few hours so all good. Can't believe I missed tits off though Blush

Going to go to bed as I have the worst back ache ever Sad Hoping I get another good night's sleep

Passmethecrisps · 06/11/2012 22:22

I really hope that things move along for your both detective and sophia. It's pretty frustrating waiting anyway but with things starting then being really slow you mustn't get any peace.

I am on my ball just now and have had the first of the 'any news' texts. All mean well. Have a growth / position scan tomorrow so fingers crossed the midwife was feeling shoulders not head . . .

I feel much better since being at yoga. It really does help even if it is just to take my mind off feeling like a heifer. Cold symptoms have almost completely eased - very weird.

Passmethecrisps · 06/11/2012 22:23

Fingers crossed for a good night's sleep fatima. It makes such a massive difference.

TheDetective · 06/11/2012 22:27

Well, the clear out earlier hasn't stopped anything.

But it hasn't changed anything either!

God damn it!

Think I'm going to go to bed soon, and sleep til I hopefully get woken up by a baby popping out on the bed Grin

applepieinthesky · 06/11/2012 22:33

10 days until my due date Shock

jenbird · 06/11/2012 22:37

Well I have been a bit fidgety since last night. I don't think anything will happen soon but I do feel like my body is revving up. Had a backache and been a bit gripey today and generally feel a bit under the weather. Was going to make dh dtd tonight but he is out playing squash still and I am knackered now! Who said romance was dead!

Chunkychicken · 06/11/2012 22:44

Detective my DH asked me last night if anyone had ever slept through labour... Hmm bear in mind this is our second child!! It would be good if you could though huh??!!!

I don't have yoga next week (no class) & the next week, I will officially be overdue (by one day). It was weird leaving, with everyone wishing me luck & saying they hope we don't see each other again in that class etc. I hope, in the nicest possible way, I won't be there in 2 wks!!!

TheDetective · 06/11/2012 22:52

I woke up in early labour with DS! I woke about 8am, with very uncomfortable tightenings - more uncomfy than this, every 5-6 minutes, regularly.

I wouldn't mind the same thing happening again. So I can just 'know' rather than be in limbo land!

It is possible to sleep through the mild tightenings though, yes!

Chunkychicken · 06/11/2012 22:59

I don't think he meant the early stages (he didn't see me with the latent phase and to be fair, my labour was really quite short but still...!!!) Hmm

misslaughalot · 07/11/2012 00:38

Anyone else still up watching the US election results come in?

MadamGazelleIsMyMum · 07/11/2012 00:49

I am Misslaughalot - DS grazing so making most of it and watching. I find US politics fascinating but not always easy to understand.
