Just back from the midwife appointment - she's not 100% sure but thinks she's still breech...DAU unit won't accept me for a scan until exactly 36 weeks to check so going in on Tuesday to confirm!

I'm on my phone so can't see a pic of Dash...will check later.

I feel the same about the poo cookies I would love to use the birth pool this time too.

Good to know info re dummies Honey thanks for that, I had read everywhere how bf & dummies don't mix but it would suit me if they did and I decide I can bf.

Glad I'm not the only one whose appts are never on time.its especially annoying when the appointment is in the middle of a work day with one hour travelling time each way.
Still no hot water, apparently the whole block is out - grrr!

It's really annoying when even the 9am appointments are running late at my surgery, although think it's the other patients causing it at my Drs. I always get a confused face when I turn up 5-10 minutes early for my appointment so must be the only one to bother.

Honey - he is absolutely beautiful!! and bigger than I'd have thought... scary that we all have one of those floating around inside of us at the moment! If you want to try a dummy, go for it, he'll soon let you know if he's interested or not!

Been really busy again this week, but I've had a rest this evening and I've caught up.

My 2 didn't have dummies, ds1 wasn't interested and ds2 was thumb sucking on his 20 week scan. At about 2 he sucked the nail off he is growing out of it now though.

I've got to have a GTT on Monday. Those who've already had them can I drink water in the fasting period? The nurse on the phone said only sips.

Saw midwife on wednesday, baby very happy with good variability in his heart rate, but he is now charging up the growth chart, heading for the 90th. The midwife is very reassuring, she keeps telling me I've done it before I can do it again.

Off to a black tie dinner for friends wedding anniversary this weekend, I'm soooo tired it's the last thing I need, but they are ds2's godparents, so we have to go. I think I'm going to spend all Saturday in bed in preparation

I've had a stupidly busy two days, and now I am suffering for it. No swollen feet, but think I've got sciatica again (oops), and tomorrow my Parents are coming to help do the final clear out of the house to make space for Shrimpy. Mum will not be happy if she thinks I'm not pulling my weight (which is a lot these days!). On a plus, the pain didn't kick in until I had finished cooking my prawn korma

I really feel like my bump has moved down somewhat. The shape of my bump seems to have changed a bit as well. I just hope he doesn't come yet... I don't want to go on maternity leave early!

FoD, I've been feeling uncomfortable "low down" for the last day or so, and the mums at sling meet this afternoon reckon my bump has dropped because i only really look pg when standing up

I don't know whether i want him to show up now and get it over with or hang on a bit longer to gain some weight and keep on developing in safety

I am seriously the same size I was the day before I had dd (I have a pic!) but I still don't feel anywhere near big enough/physically ready to give birth it's a bit strange, I wonder if you ever do though? Maybe once you're really fed up and overdue, guess I'll never know!

Moan alert- after working this morning had to wait in all afternoon for an engineer to look at our boiler, got the heating on in the end but now it's broken again. Couldn't do anything I wanted to this afternoon and now it's looking very likely I will need a new boiler... BRILLIANT!

Can't get all my baby clothes dry now the ones I've washed so far have been on the radiators for 3 days

pidj how was the sling meet? Gutted I couldn't make it. Stupid ancient boiler. Everything breaks at once. First the car and now this. Grr.

Oh and kate I drank quite a bit of water- definitely more than 'sips'. Had to! I hope yours is early in the morning for you so you're not starving for too long!

kate I had more than just sips of water - there was nothing in my letter that said it only had to be sips. Once I'd had the glucose drink, they did say that I could have water but only sips, but there was no such restriction for the hours running up to the test.

Today I'm apparently measuring 38 weeks (am 35+1). Next week's scan will hopefully be fairly revealing as to size.

Pidj I've had some evil magical feelings very low down, like something trying to claw out of me, he has been evil all day.
