Fanjo smoothies - the next big thing Grin

utopian99 · 06/11/2012 12:45

Fanjo smoothies just made me choke on my (fake filthy decaff) coffee!

On another slightly icky note - my nipples work, hurrah! Am simultaneously relieved and slightly grossed out...

EggsMichelle · 06/11/2012 13:01

My nipples itch!

Queenofsiburbia · 06/11/2012 13:22

utopian on the last thread I mentioned about my nipps reacting to owls screeching at night Confused.
That is both icky and odd.

A friend's were set off every morning by a local cockerel. (note careful use of the full word there ;-)

StrawberrytallCAKE · 06/11/2012 13:45

Mine were set off whilst watching x factor and bouncing on the ball on Saturday night. I had to lie down for a minute it freaked me out hugely, was convinced I wouldn't need breast pads until after having the baby, on the plus side the pads make my boobs look about a size bigger (which I could do with).

PurplePidjin · 06/11/2012 14:50

Mine itch, I've got washable breast pads in to protect them Blush

Got the cutest outfit for Christmas day in Tesco - grey fleece dungarees with a Rudolph face and antlers on the picket and coordinating red long sleeved body suit. Nice and comfortable for travelling and only a fiver! Can't find it on the website to show you, though. I got 0-3 rather than any smaller, hope it fits Confused

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 06/11/2012 14:55

Lovely asda man delivered my shopping today. And took it all straight to my kitchen. I thoroughly recommend online shopping. The thought of stepping foot in a supermarket while this big is enough to bring tears to my eyes.

I'm making carrot soup out of my nearly past their best carrots. And I've picked the apples hanging over from next doors tree to make apple crumble later (when I can be arsed). I feel very domesticated!

SpottyTeacakes · 06/11/2012 15:04

We only ever online shop given that the nearest big supermarket it 30-40 minutes drive away and it's impossible to budget when I go in there! Also toddlers and food shopping don't match...

I just got my electricity bill (we're all electric here as no mains gas) and we're £266 in credit, is it sad that that makes me so happy?!

Oooo I'd love some apple crumble! We're having (shop bought!) pie and mash for dinner. Not something I would usually eat but it's proper winter comfort food and I still have red cabbage left over yummy!

2blessed · 06/11/2012 15:04

I'm with you stacey on the internet shopping. Before pregnancy I would do an internet shop maybe every few months as I don't drive. Now I'm pregnant and living on my own it just makes my life so much easier.

My right nipple tends to burn and get itchy every now and then.

MyDaydream · 06/11/2012 15:32

Love shopping online, everything gets brought in for me and I don't have to deal with people who really are old enough to understand shopping! Hated the couple of weeks when we had no Internet for me to do a proper shop.
My nipples feel like they're trying to rip themselves off whenever I get cold. It's so painful, and I feel a bit silly holding onto my tits trying to warm them up!
We're going to a bit of a party tonight but I don't know how lively ill be, I can't wake myself up today. I was supposed to be dying my hair and can't even be bothered doing that.

SpottyTeacakes · 06/11/2012 15:40

Envy at the delivery driver bringing your shopping in for you! Mine just stand at the door waiting for me to lift it out the crates!

Cookiesandcream06 · 06/11/2012 15:44

pidj replied to mail.. I have a message from you but no one else?

More mucus today but not as big amount as yesterday. Going to DAU tomorrow so going to ask about it then.

Oh my I thought the dates fanjo thing was a joke Shock I was ok with the EPO but ACTUAL food produce?!

I battled Tesco with dd (3) today, live near by so cannot justify online shopping, Was hard! More of a workout than my Aquanatal this morning!
stacey very domesticated indeed

EggsMichelle · 06/11/2012 15:47

Spotty I'm having pie and mash as well tonight,DH is back to work tonight, and won't be home until Friday evening so having a comfort tea before he leaves. I haven't done Internet shopping in years, but might have to in December just so I don't have to take Shrimpy out in the cold. Pidj my Dsis is bought Shrimpy that outfit for Xmas, can't wait to dress him up, not sure what size she picked though.

Shrimpy was having a very active day, and getting quite uncomfortable, however since doing the hoovering he has settled down, I wonder if it was the hum of the Hoover or me rocking back and forth that settled him?

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 06/11/2012 16:11

Cookies I live quite close too but you can get delivery slots for £3 from asda, it's so worth it!

spotty next time ask them to carry it in, most don't mind and can do it a lot quicker than you trying.

Well carrot soup is cooked and ready for dinner (ready for DH to moan that soup is not a meal yadda yadda yadda ) I'll be eating it for a few days as there's no room in the freezer lol. Got a big joint of brisket to slow cook tomo which should be nice! The apple crumble has yet to happen lol.

SpottyTeacakes · 06/11/2012 16:16

I know I should but then they will make muddy foot prints Angry I should send them round the back! Grin

Eggs it was probably both but most likely the rocking. You know what you're going to be doing for the next six months after the birth don't you Wink

I'm so hungry might have to do dinner early.... Have text dp asking him to get some of those hot chocolate sponge puddings mmmm also got my changing bag delivered yay!

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 06/11/2012 16:18

Lol spotty well I haven't mopped the floors for a week so I doubt his boots made an impact [slattern emoticon]

Ooo choc pudding!

Clarella · 06/11/2012 17:24

I really have to add that the dates are to be eaten.... just in case.....

Not a good day to get new phone and bugger up contacts list - two new baby announcements, worked out who first is but can't for the life of me work out the other ..... was with nct ladies this avo, racking brains and old phone for other one - very rude to say 'congratulations!' - which baby is this? !?

SpottyTeacakes · 06/11/2012 18:00

Argh DP bought a chocolate browni pudding not the hot chocolate sponge I asked for, I hate to be ungrateful but I really don't like that brownie thing enough to warrant the extra injection etc Sad plus I have a headache

EggsMichelle · 06/11/2012 19:01

I suppose I should do more hoovering, a dog and two cats create a lot of fur tumble weeds!

Spotty you can send that brownie my way if you don't want it, I'm finishing off my Ben and Jerry's from last night!

WeeJo08 · 06/11/2012 19:07

Stacey I made apple crumble last night & we still have half left over for tonight! Yum! We're also having mash tonight, Spotty, but with sausages and beans Grin I love comfort food!

emilyeggs · 06/11/2012 19:31

Came home with one swollen ankle (with a sock dent in it) Sad didn't sit down at all today apart for about half hour on my lunch. Stupid retail, stupid Estée Lauder, ready to go now Sad

FriendofDorothy · 06/11/2012 20:24

I am a horrible emotional mess tonight. I am really feeling vulnerable and i think that is because I don't feel like I can make an preparation for the baby. We are still living with my Mum and Dad and I just feel like we have no space to put anything.

I am being completely unreasonable and it is definitely the hormones!

CODwidow · 06/11/2012 20:52

Well had a great day Xmas shopping with my sister although 5 hrs trawling shops at 34+6 weeks means slight backache! But still feeling pretty good so making the most of it. Plus I have 4 ds's and this little one to buy for this year so need/want to be organised.
I'm rubbish at online food shopping and always take hours trying to sort out what I need and in what size maybe someone could give me some tips Grin
Off for last lot of bloods tomorrow can't believe how quick it's come round and then I have my strep b swab next Tuesday. Ds2 was born at 36+4 so starting to feel that it could be anytime soon.

Secondsop · 06/11/2012 20:53

Friendofdorothy I am also feeling really emotional and upset today. Why dont you try what im trying - find something (anything) positive to "rescue the day" (favourite programme, book, snack or loveky cup of tea or chocolate, whatever lifts your spirits at all), then have an early night and hope for better luck tomorrow x

CODwidow · 06/11/2012 20:56

fod hopefully it'll pass soon! I felt like that last week as dh works ridiculously long hrs usually 6 days a week and I had a major meltdown about how I'll manage 5dcs and schoolwork. But this week when I look back it was definately hormonal and although it's still a worry I had totally blown it all out of normality!
