Congratulations blonder!

Iheartpasties · 27/10/2012 06:08

ooow ooow ooww tiargo has just made a birth announcement on the new thread - I had to share here so everyone could know!! :)

horseylady · 27/10/2012 06:17

Congrats!!!

Been up since 2am with contractions every 5 to 10 minutes. Starting to get more frequent but am ok with tens.

Should probably call labour ward it just means getting off the sofa looking for the number and moving. It's a huge effort!!!

Iheartpasties · 27/10/2012 06:23

horsey so excited for you! Yes phone the labour ward and let them know!! Get your dh to do it, although they might want to talk to you as well :) Goodluck and keep us up to date.

horseylady · 27/10/2012 06:25

Dh asleep told him to rest think it's going to be a while yet. Will call them see what they say. Am ok at home though so seems silly calling them?!

Iheartpasties · 27/10/2012 06:27

no, they will want to know if you are going to turn up today! Tell them youare fine at home, and they will be fine with that! Don't go in until you feel you want to.

MissMummy1 · 27/10/2012 06:30

Wow congrats to tiargo! I reckon mine will be a December baby....

Fell asleep on the sofa last night. Instead of moving me or waking me up, DH just threw a duvet over me. Not pissed off in the slightest because I had the BEST night's sleep EVER! Wish I'd known 5 months ago when the insomnia started how comfy our sofa is!! Didn't even need to get up to wee or anything! Also touchwood found a cure to night time heartburn - sleep with your head as high as possible. Normally I'n a 1 pillow kind of girl, but last night dosed off with my head on a huge pile of cushions and didn't suffer at all. Another first in about 5 months! Feeling very wide awake and in such a good mood now! likely to crash and be a grump around midday and not at all ill like I did yesterday. YAY!

Put my foot in it majorly with BIL last night. Apparently PIL didn't want him and SIL knowing they were over as SIL "takes over everything" (thanks for telling me DH Hmm ) Long story short, they've booked themselves into a hotel in the village for the weekend. PIL alledgedly not impressed. I'm secretly quite pleased - I like BIL and SIL. Grin

OH my goodness you go away from here for 24 hours and it goes crazy!

Congratulations blonder and tiaaargo, amazing news and enjoy your snuggles

horsey definitely call them and let them know what's happening - good luck!

tits I really hope you get your induction tomorrow, you have been messed around something chronic, it is terrible Angry. Just keep pushing them, though it must be exhausting when you feel like you're not being listened to and you're in so much pain Sad

Great to hear from yw, glad you're still on the island and that Jonas is feeding well, you are one of the trailblazers, take good care x

and caped, all the best for Monday! Any babies left for November?!!!......

MissMummy1 · 27/10/2012 06:31

Oh and good luck horsey - how exciting!!!

Titsalinabumsquash · 27/10/2012 06:34

Good luck Horse Smile

2 new ladies brought in in the night, one is 15, quite far gone and has clung to her DM all night because she's ok pain Sad poor thing.
Other lady has snored like a chainsaw since she arrived Hmm it's like sleeping with DP just less hairy and farty. Hmm

Fingers crossed today goes well for everyone :)

horseylady · 27/10/2012 06:47

Called them they said it might stop. But will start again at some point.

Call again if waters break, they get worse or baby stops moving etc go in.

Iheartpasties · 27/10/2012 06:51

horsey i thought your waters already broke last night before you went to bed? x

FatimaLovesBread · 27/10/2012 06:51

Good luck horse!!

I slept a whole night in my bed [hshock] well I spent some of it awake but managed to get back to sleep and none of it on the sofa. I thin the trip to Trafford Centre to wear me out must have worked. Got monster acid reflux though, keep feeling like I'm having a eart attack and I feel like I've got a huge lump of acid moving up my chest. Oh the joys

horseylady · 27/10/2012 06:53

No I wasn't sure what that was? They said it could be the show. There was no major gush just pink fluid. Mw said that sounded like a show. Apparently mucus and show are different? I thought they were the same!!! Waters different again!!

FatimaLovesBread · 27/10/2012 06:53
  • think *heart

Obviously can't type at this time in the morning

Passmethecrisps · 27/10/2012 06:58

Oh my goodness how exciting! One birth and horsey contractions!

Eep!

Iheartpasties · 27/10/2012 06:59

oh ok horsey I never have had a show so don't know! Well I hope it all progresses nicely for you. Sometimes things slow down when you get into hospital, but that is normal!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 27/10/2012 07:12

This is all getting so exciting must eke up properly!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 27/10/2012 07:13

*wake,

kissyfur · 27/10/2012 07:17

Lots going on this morning, v exciting. Up a bit early for me with awful numb hands from carpal tunnel syndrome, it's horrible!

Iheartpasties · 27/10/2012 07:20

I keep waking up with numb fingers, it's horrid.

Iheartpasties · 27/10/2012 07:36

My Dh is making pasties! horay! It's a been a while since we last had them :)

DH has had a cold for aprox 2 weeks, and he has been a moaning misserable bum hole that whole time. He was feeling very sorry for himself and it was driving me insane. I had had the cold the week before he got it!! He kept me awake many nights and in the end I was crying and upset and he finally twigged to the idea that he could bugger off an dsleep elsewhere. He always says 'you only have to ask me', ie to sleep elsewhere but when I do he moans! so I hate to ask! It sort of comes back and bites me on the bum! Anyway the flat turned into a shittip for a couple of days and blagh blagh blagh. Anyway I can tell he is better now, today has been lush! I haven't lifter a finger all day! There were a couple of jobs I thought I'd do but he did them without me asking! Horay! So lush. And now to top it all off he's making pasties! I swear I would name this baby pasty if it wasn't too wierd!!

Anyway just wanted to share that.

kissyfur · 27/10/2012 07:52

Yum to pasties pasties! Can I have one?

MissMummy1 · 27/10/2012 07:55

You are very lucky pasties. I have been asking DH all week to do 2 things for me. Lift the lounge tv up to our bedroom and take the heavy recycling bin out. Neither - I don't think - are too unreasonable things for him to do, yet neither has been done. Grrr!

Iheartpasties · 27/10/2012 07:57

mm1 for quite some time dh was forgetful or not listening, i got a white board and wrote things on there!! haha, he still ignored it though!!
