Good luck waitingsDH

fatima I'm just jealous you can nest, I can do buggar all for myself these days :-(

Our nursery is a tip as its filled with bin bags of baby's clothes from the loft and various other boxes of shit! ok not shit but it seems that way to me as I can't move the bloody stuff I want to tidy it all and rearrange things and generally get ready in case the consultant does induce me next week but I just physically can't and as DH works quite long hours it's hard for him to get it done.

DD has been collected for nursery and isn't due back til 6pm so I have plenty of rest time today thankfully although I have checked my emails and a delivery I was expecting tomorrow is getting delivered today, even though they told me in various emails it would be Friday. So now I need to listen for door so that I can make it down the stairs in time!

Iheartpasties · 25/10/2012 10:38

sophia in our supermarket you can buy food preparation gloves, could you get some and then whack a load of cream on your arse? slightly nicer than doing it directly with your finger - although thats what i do because i never remember to buy gloves :)

FatimaLovesBread · 25/10/2012 10:41

Sorry Izzy You must feel crappy [hsad]
I'm finding it hard having to depend on DH to do some things and to delegate and my spd isn't too bad. I hate it when I can't do things myself. Enjoy your resting today, hopefully you'll be able to get an induction soon. Remember, the baby won't care if you think things are a mess. That's what I keep telling myself

horseylady · 25/10/2012 10:42

Hounds walked. We went on the streets today as I thought it would be better than having mud covered dogs.

However, old ladies and my dogs are not a good combination. Big dog is fine and just stands for fuss. Puppy dog ignores them until they lift their hand and then she attacks. In the future I think I'll stick to off road or go on road and avoid the shops!!!

FatimaLovesBread · 25/10/2012 10:42

Sophia Get some Anodesyn ointment or suppositories. They make it were I work, I could have sent you some if I weren't on maternity leave

horseylady · 25/10/2012 10:43

Ps good luck waitings dh and tits!!

Izzy rest up.

Iheartpasties · 25/10/2012 10:43

Best of luck to Mrwaitingforme

Iheartpasties · 25/10/2012 10:44

It's dark here, and there are some wierd noises outside, I think some bats have taken up residency outside in a tree, they dont half make a racket.

Iheartpasties · 25/10/2012 10:50

Or maybe it's posums, dont know!?

applepieinthesky · 25/10/2012 10:56

Good luck with your interview MrWaiting and good luck to VQ, hope it all goes well for you x

Not a lot happening with me other than period type pains last night and loose bowel movements again. 37 weeks tomorrow. I've suddenly realised the importance of a birth plan so now typing one up while sitting in the bath. A lot of it I have already discussed with my mum anyway and she will be with me along with DP.

Oh and the picture of GTbaby Smile He is beautiful! I want one!

FatimaLovesBread · 25/10/2012 10:58

Right, how long do I leave it before I assume the health visitor isn't coming?
I want to sort all my DVD and books shelves which is going to involve taking everything off the shelves, don't want to start it and the health visitor turn up.

Iheartpasties · 25/10/2012 11:01

fatima can you phone her? If not start taking the dvds down and sods law says she will turn up!!

Passmethecrisps · 25/10/2012 11:19

Morning.

Good luck with the interview mrwaiting

I REALLY hope that tits gets taken seriously today. Her situation has been genuinely making me mad.

pasties I would chuffing love a tree full of bats or possums. Awesome

Right. I am still in bed. I feel pretty awful - sore head and just crappy. yw beautiful and loved-up post made me cry. Now I am lying here with my bottom lip wobbling for categorically no reason what so ever. What a fanny.

Not sure what to do with myself for the best. Would a bath cheer me up?

FatimaLovesBread · 25/10/2012 11:20

I don't have a phone number for them, they just rang last week to say they were coming.
Reminds me of my midwife booking in appt at home. That was booked for 11am, I work 10 mins away so left at 10:40 and was home for 10:50. No one turned up. I then got a shirty telephone call to say that I hadn't been home for my appointment. Well I was at 11am when the appointment was booked for, but I wasn't at 10:30am when they turned up, knocked on the door and left. [hangry]

I was in the shower from 9:30-9:40am so unless they came then, then thy haven't showed up. Going to crack on with my jobs now. Only an hour and a half wasted [hangry]

Iheartpasties · 25/10/2012 11:27

The bats and posums are loud though, and they don't stop!! The birds during the day are nice though coz they sound exotic! They look exotic too :)
If we lived a bit further out we could have kangeroos jumping around the garden, now that would be amazing!! I think they get on peoples nerves though coz they eat all the grass!
We saw two Hump Back whales the other weekend, breaching (jumping up out of the water) that was fun. We were sat eating ice cream at the beach! fab!

Passmethecrisps · 25/10/2012 11:32

pasties I am jealous. You don't really get much wildlife of interest in central Scotland. Well, you know, I am unlikely to get a polecat in my garden for example. Actually, I have never seen anything in my garden but neighbouring kitties and wee birdies. They are very nice and all but a hedgehog or something would be nice.

Mood I'm in the lack of fauna diversity might make me cry..

horseylady · 25/10/2012 11:35

We get the odd hedgehog, bloody foxes though (we keep chickens) and birds and our own dogs and cats.

Think my hormones have calmed down again? The odd feeling has gone away as has the bursting into tears. I feel alright again. Until the next time it happens!!

Iheartpasties · 25/10/2012 11:38

passme :)

TheDetective · 25/10/2012 11:39

Eeeeh, good luck MrWaiting!!

I am going to stay cool, calm and collected. I will not poke DP's eyes out. No.

Instead I will plot my revenge on the grumpy arsed bastard! Had the cheek to shout at me why don't you fuck off back to bed because I dared to ask why the kitchen floor was covered in the shit I asked him to clean up last night (shit he had covered the floor in - no one else).

Fucking men.

He can definitely do the drive now. I hope it rains. Grin He isn't getting out of it...ha.

In other news, I am having a bit of a flap about the wedding tomorrow. Been trying to find out all week what the arrangements are. The invite just states you are invited to the wedding of blah blah blah at blah place at 1pm. There are no further details on reception/evening do etc. So I asked my Dad, who asked my Nan (it is my cousin on my Dads side) and between us we can't come to any conclusion on timings, all we know is there is an afternoon reception and evening do all in the same venue. This is despite my Nan staying with the brides mother - as she is home from Aus for the wedding! The family aren't known for their organisation to be honest Grin.

(This is the same cousin who offered fish as the veggie option!)

Unfortunately DS will be at school - due to the mixed bag everyone is getting for half term weeks, cousin booked it as it is her half term (teacher) but not everyone is off on that day! DP is in work, and had no holidays left to book due to impending arrival of child - he has booked his quota of hols for the year. So I need to organise myself to attend the wedding, and then get DS from school, and DP to get to evening do (in work til 5.30pm). I did ask the headteacher my mum if I could take DS out for the day, but she asked me not to as there are attendance issues across the school at the minute.

But we have no idea of timings, and no one seems to know! I'm probably going to have to skip the reception now, as I have to be at school for 3.15. Siiiiiiiiiiiigh. And no idea what time to return with DS and DP - as no one knows the timings for the evenings!

Ballcocks.

Passmethecrisps · 25/10/2012 11:40

horsey I think I have caught it. Feel massively sorry for myself.

See, a fox might be good because its smell might stop the crazy neighbourhood kitty from pooping like a dog all over our garden. I wouldn't mind if it was in the flower borders like a normal cat. But no, this cat poops on the drive and on the grass.

FatimaLovesBread · 25/10/2012 11:43

Can I have your opinions please?
I'm a godmother next month and want to get something a bit different. I'm going to buy something from a company that a friend works for but I can't choose. What do you think of.....
Jigsaw name
Box
Block name

Passmethecrisps · 25/10/2012 11:44

Oh and I should add that said crazy cat is a Bengal. That's £700 of crazy poop machine. Just goes to show you can't buy class. My kitty was £26 rehoming fee from the SSPCA and she is very discrete about her poos. Always looks a bit mortified when DH cleans them out the tray.

Passmethecrisps · 25/10/2012 11:46

fatima I vote for box. Useful.

FatimaLovesBread · 25/10/2012 11:47

Detective Is the wedding and reception in the same place i.e. a hotel or is the wedding at a church.
From my experience of many weddings over the last couple of years, i'd say a 1pm wedding would mean Meal at 3:30/4pm and evening reception at 7/7:30pm.

Iheartpasties · 25/10/2012 11:48

detective how annoying! Surely the bride knows the timings for her own wedding!!
