Oh bollocks, I'm not going to get such a relaxing day. I forgot there are things I need to do Hmm.

I'll just have to settle with a relaxing morning. I'd of liked to soak in the bath for a bit. But I can't even do that! Stay in bed it is then Grin

I did have plans to have a relaxing bath every day while I have the time, except now I can't as I'm blaming them for giving me thrush! I have never really been a bath person, and didn't use bubbles. But now I've got time on my hands, I figured it would help me relax - which is true, I do fall asleep quicker after a boiling hot bath. 'Cept the increase in baths/bubbly shit has most likely caused the damn thrush.

You can't win, can you?!

Shelly Boot on stick is your friend Grin

DesperateHousewife21 · 25/10/2012 09:27

Lol at bubbly shit. I can't remember the last time I had a bath without ds so mine are anything but relaxing.

horseylady · 25/10/2012 09:31

I have a bath almost daily (shower always daily!!) and never suffer from thrush?! Was thinking this morning. Will I still be able to do this with the baby??!!

Right off out for a walk. Hair removal half worked. Would have been more successful if I'd read the instructions more thoroughly!! Also done eyebrows.

Come out soon baby!!!

Titsalinabumsquash · 25/10/2012 09:32

Morning.

I'm waiting for my sister to come collect me and take me to the day assessment unit. I called them and burst into tears when the midwife answered the phone Blush
I can't bloomin see anything today, flashy lights and an uber headache along with the usual. Hopefully I may get some joy from someone.

TheDetective · 25/10/2012 09:42

Grin @Tits.

Iheartpasties · 25/10/2012 09:42

oh tits!! sounds awful!! They need to do something for you! how many weeks are you now?

TheDetective · 25/10/2012 09:44

Damn that made me look like an insensitive twerp. Tits knows why I am Grin...!

Titsalinabumsquash · 25/10/2012 09:45

I'm 37 weeks. I would go in by taxi because my sister is in work until 11 but DP has ever so helpfully taken my crutches to work with him. Hmm
I cannot stop with the weeping today which will hopefully allow them to see the extent of the problem.

TheDetective · 25/10/2012 09:47

Tits get a wheelchair when you get there and make sure you explain your crutches are with Dickhead P...!

TheDetective · 25/10/2012 09:51

Is it wrong to actually enjoy getting Braxton Hicks? Everytime I get one I have to feel how hard my abdo goes... Because it is the only time in my life my abdomen will ever be that firm! Makes me feel awesome for 60 seconds haha! Check out the firmness... Wink

Sophiathesnowfairy · 25/10/2012 09:53

tits yep, get the wheelchair, keep the tears, make sure you tell them about your flashing lights and headache, no slap let them know how bad you feel. Will be thinking of you today. Hug.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 25/10/2012 09:55

A with you there detective

TMI alert MY PILES AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH driving me crazy, horrible. I assume they have got worse now I am fully engaged but I am just squirming the whole time.

kissyfur · 25/10/2012 09:57

Oh tits you poor thing, men can be such idiots too! Fancy taking your crutches with him to work! Angry hope you have some success today and get the help you need.

Congrats to YW! Lovely to hear from you and love the names Smile hope your boy continues to improve xx

Another one fed up with DP here, here's just being a right twunt at the moment. Really can't be doing with him. Also I'm stuck without my car and going stir crazy. I was hoping to get the baby clothes sorted and washed today but despite several requests DP didn't go and get them out of the loft for me, think I am going to go up there myself in a bit. Does anyone else feel like they have done most things for this PG on their own? I do Sad

Peaky1 · 25/10/2012 10:00

I'm still not sure if I've had any Braxton Hicks yet? I'm 39+1 and I do get a hard tummy but it's usually the baby moving, or so I assume. They don't take my breath away or seem to last for a certain time...hmmm.

Was it Lilliana that needs a baby moving? You can come help me paint some skirting boards today! Kitchen floor could do with a scrub too (though am counting on my Mum allowing me to borrow her steam mop instead because I'm not THAT feckin eager [hwink] )

Peaky1 · 25/10/2012 10:02

Oh! and good luck to Tits and VQ.

Sophia - rubber ring and anusol!

StuntNun · 25/10/2012 10:05

Tits don't you need to get to the hospital ASAP if you're having flashing lights? Have you had anything like this before?

StuntNun · 25/10/2012 10:09

Kissy I'm sorting out the loft today as DH just won't do it and we still don't have the cot bedding. It's a ridiculous thing to be doing at 38 weeks but if he hasn't done it in the last EIGHT MONTHS then he is my going to do it now. It's great that he's oh so concerned about his sister and going to the funeral but not so great for me at being second in the queue for everything. I really thought I had done myself an injury yesterday bringing a box down that looked like it had Christmas decorations in but turned out to have an old desktop computer in!

TiAAAAARGHo · 25/10/2012 10:11

Tits - flashy lights and headache need to be checked out straight away as they can be symptoms of pre-eclampsia. Make sure the doctors know about them and good luck.

TheDetective · 25/10/2012 10:12

I'm never letting the dog finish off the roast dinner left overs ever again. Doggy turnip trumps are not my idea of pleasant. The stinky git.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 25/10/2012 10:17

stunt are you crazy? A desktop computer? [hshock]from the loft? [hshock] can see the cartoon now.

peaky. I know but, ewwwwww, I can't bear to touch.

I concurr with everyone else liliana crawling around on the floor will help...and...kneel on an armchair and vvveeerrrrry carefully lower your upper body onto the floor, with your forearms on the floor and your head inbetween for 30secs. To get back up walk your hands back and up back on to the chair don't crawl onto the floor. Check it out on the spinning babies website before you do it I try to every day. It sometimes forget.

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 25/10/2012 10:23

tits get to hospital ASAP as stunt says. Flashing lights and headaches are usually increased BP signs are they not? Maybe this means induction could be soon!?! Or am I being too hopeful for you! The young registrar I seen on tues was excited my BP was up as he would be 'allowed' to induce me before due date whereas for SPD and early induction he needed consultants opinion. He was actually grinning and willing my BP to stay raised!

Silly DH taking crutches to work. I told mine to take the car today and he has thoughtfully brought my crutches into the house! He has however taken our DDs bag to work with him meaning I had to use the new changing bag to send spare clothes to nursery!

Lovely to hear from you YW and happy you got your island birth. Hope the jaundice settles under the lamp and that little Jonas gets the hang of feeding soon.

WaitingForMe · 25/10/2012 10:26

Remember my DH has been made redundant? Well he's looking utterly gorgeous in his suit getting ready for a big interview. It sounds perfect - his favourite area of accounting, really close by and better money than he was on before. Can I please ask for a few crossed fingers?

FatimaLovesBread · 25/10/2012 10:29

Well the health visitor is doing well with her first appointment, she was due at 10am, still no sign. I want to get sorting my living room shelves out!

I'll join in with the DH moaning. He has always had a crappy phone as it gets wrecked at work, however I upgraded to an iPhone 5 a month ago and his phone was broken so he's inherited my iPhone 4 with an indestructible cover. Since getting it he never stops playing games on it, that would be fine if like me he put the phone down when something needs doing or actually listened to me in the first place. But he gets sucked in to it and before I know it he's been playing for 2 hours and he's done feck all!
I sorted out his drawers on Tuesday and left a pile of things to go through before I throw them away, they're still sat on the side. I left a pile of work clothes for him to put away yesterday as he was sat next to the cupboard, they're now on the floor next to the cupboard.
Last night I asked him to Hoover downstairs which he did, but when I came down for gaviscon at 1am the Hoover was just sat in the middle of the kitchen floor where he left it and all the things he'd moved from the floor were still sat on the sofa.
Doesn't he realise I'm nesting and when I ask him to do simple jobs it means I want them done now, not next week [hangry]

Oooh sorry for the epic moan

FatimaLovesBread · 25/10/2012 10:32

Fingers crossed waitingsDH
