Sorry for the not very imaginative title. Noticed old thread was full and couldn't find a new one.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Well I came back then disappeared again and now I am disappearing again.
Hope we are all good and enjoying ourselves.

Nothing really happening here at the moment.
Am going away for a night to Canterbury tomorrow, non-man and me, he phoned me up on Wednesday - am very very excited. I've never been either.

pregnancy wise it is all going okay I think. Getting into the swing of it all now.

Right I will be back on Monday :)

and thinking of you berri

Picklep · 09/11/2012 21:01

elly my DH is struggling with the pregnancy 'time of the month' every evening he sneaks through the door with a careful 'hello?' , never knows which DW is going to greet him; the normal loving one, the raging bull-like angry one or the sobbing pathetic one or a combination of the last two!

flamin i think the paranoia is quite common too with all these hormones!

seven77 · 09/11/2012 21:10

Thinking of you berri, send DH out for DVDs and colouring books/sticker books and just rest.

milk hope you enjoy your night away.

We've had good news today, our old flat which we've been trying to sell for 2 years has exchanged and is due to complete on Wednesday. We're leaving celebrating until after my scan on Thursday though.

I tried to put the iron in the fridge earlier Blush. Does anyone else have pregnancy brain yet?

babygeek · 09/11/2012 21:29

Oh berri, thinking of you and sending you lots of healing vibes. Take care x

I don't think I have "the rage", I seem to be a little over emotional though. I just cried at the John Lewis Xmas ad. It's only frikkin snowmen(people/folk)!! Oh dear.

lollypopsicle · 09/11/2012 21:38

Hello ladies. berri that is most worrying for you but it sounds like you have good medical care. Sending positive thoughts your way.
bunny glad your scan went well. All good for us too. A right little wriggler!

Have a good weekend peeps. We're off to London to visit friends for the weekend. DS is going to love the tube and buses, he is in to transport in a big way. Don't think I'm going to love the transport quite so much with MS and The Rage Confused

12+1

Picklep · 09/11/2012 21:38

babygeek I just cried at the same ad!

rachywhite83 · 09/11/2012 21:39

I'm having a weekend of luxury. DH is working nights all weekend so I'm staying with my parents. It's so lovely being waited on all the time ! They are taking me shopping tomorrow so cute x

seven I very nearly poured blackcurrant squash into a pan of soup this evening instead of my glass of water. A couple of weeks ago I got really upset because the shower was working. I turned and turned it but no water came out. Took me a while to figure out that I was turning the dial on the raiser (the bar on the wall the shower head is attached to) rather than the tap on the side of the bath Blush

FlaminNoraImPregnantPanda · 09/11/2012 22:32
  • because the shower WASN'T working
cuppateaandagingersnap · 09/11/2012 22:33

Thinking of you berri and also sending you lots of healing wishes.

wilderumpus · 10/11/2012 08:26

congrats on your scans lolly and bunny!

I have the rage (particularly in shops and with people walking slowly?!) and am getting more weepy too, but pg brain has lifted for now! I was terrible in the early weeks!

Ellypoo · 10/11/2012 11:02

Pah - just went to clinic for flu jab drop in but it seems I have a temperature so they couldn't do it. I suppose it explains why I feel so pants!
Will check in properly later x

Bunnychan · 10/11/2012 11:33

Hope you feel better Ellypoo! Is it too early to be have hot flushes at 12+2? Just had to lie down with under the open window as I thought I was going to melt! Feel normal temp again now after about 15 mins x

beaver33 · 10/11/2012 14:01

Urgh, at work today and really booooored. Sometimes Saturdays are busy, sometimes not. Today is not.

BUT we take it in turns to work late on Saturdays (basically, it involves coming in from 9am until midnight, a killer 15 hour shift). It's my turn today.....but a wonderful, thoughtful male colleague has firmly told me there's no way I'm working a 15 hour shift at the moment, and he has gallantly stepped in himself to take the pain.

How sweet is that??

FlaminNoraImPregnantPanda · 10/11/2012 14:07

Bunny I made it to 12 weeks without even knowing I was pregnant because of the hot flushes. I thought I had flu (yeah, for 12 weeksHmm) or was going through early menopause or something.

berri · 10/11/2012 15:19

Thanks so much for all your lovely wishes & flowers, so nice to have everyone on here to talk to Smile

Hope everyone has a good weekend, and keep the scan stories coming in, they are lovely to read.

Princessishavingababyboo · 10/11/2012 15:24

is it too late to join? I bring Brew Cake I am 15 weeks due may 3rd, my friends call me boo :)

SevenElvesAndAReindeer · 10/11/2012 15:57

Hi boo, there's a stats thread lurking somewhere in ante-natal clubs if you want to pop yourself on there.

flamin glad I'm not the only one with pregnancy brain!

beaver that's very sweet of him, hope he continues to be gallant for another 6 months!

I've got my scan on Thursday. Anyone else got theirs this week?

11+5

LittleBairn · 10/11/2012 16:20

well done 10 - I salute you. Have been totally the same - coming home late, throwing something stodgy in the oven and praying the small square of butternut squash at the bottom of a watery Tesco lasagne is enough to sustain a small life... I NEVER buy ready meals but the combination of work and exhaustion at the moment is too much.

Still at work, planning on a nice autumnal walk tomorrow to stretch the ol' limbs, and then perhaps I shall create a shepherd's pie or some such wintery goodness.

LittleBairn · 10/11/2012 18:42

I've been dreadful over eating, even lost half a stone!
Starting to improve slightly sticking to quick healthy snacks like nuts, lots of fruit etc my favourite food at the moment is hummus in a wrap with lettuce and thinly sliced salad veg, yum.

Bunnychan · 10/11/2012 18:48

Ladies, I admire your healthily choices! I was eating so healthily at the start but have been eating crap lately. Been shopping tonight and brought some fruit to try and start getting more vitamins. X

GeordieCherry · 10/11/2012 19:32

No healthy choices here. Ate up to 10 fruit & veggies a day trying to get pg. Now? White carbs alllll the way! Best thing at not making me puke Blush

Our scan on Thursday showed all well with the baby. It was asleep & upside down so not much to see! Glad we did though Smile

Looking forward to having a bit more energy in the next few weeks, shattered!
