Evening all!
On BIG computer instead of phone like normal, so going to do my best to name check now!
Congratulations on lovely scans sarah, three
Good luck for scan tomorrow sheldon we share scan days!! I'm at 4pm then DH and I are going out for dinner (which we've not done for ages) and mothercare shopping before hand, so I am V excited for lovely afternoon/evening!
sundae I have the angel sounds doppler and I have been able to hear beans hb since about week 16, that said, I lost it for a while (which made me panic as it was last week, I was not well, the house was full of fumes from the builters doing the flat roof on the extention) but then found it again! I do find it hard to get sometimes due to beans mobility, I find reassurance in the fact that I get thumps and thwacks and then a little train noise! I dont listen everyday, but when I woke up last friday morning at 2am following a vile dream convinced that something was wrong, I got a hb straight away and was very reassured.
em hope the toothache continues to improve - a tooth per child - bah!
Glad you had a nice weekend tramp
JoJo
at your crib!!! I really, really want one, but canot justify the expense, can I share yours please?!?!?!
zoey
re the friends and the baby clothes - how rude!!!
Hurrah for new osteopath manda and for weekend haul! Boo for cold though!
We have even more stuff from SIL now, two buggies a light weight one and the bigger 3 wheeler with pram attatchments for when tiny. Is all at in laws at the moment as our whole kitchen and dining room is allover the house due to extention etc. I feel your pain with the space issue!!
ood sorry you are not well, in my experience occy health say whatever you want them to say! I have never found them helpful as either a manager or staff member. They will probaby support you in whatever you need though, if you tell them what it is you want. IYSWIM??
I am feeling better although not 100%, have lovely cough and keep loosing my voice! I went back to work today and have made a few changes.
I am monitoring the temp on the ward so I have them clearly documented for the pregancy risk assessment I am yet to have! I have removed myself from active clinical duties as I am finding it far too difficult with the heat to remain safe in practice. I am purely supervisory managerial now. I have yet to inform my Matron, but seeing as I saw her for two seconds this morning and a prommise to return which did not materilise, it's her problem! Bean is my priority! As I have done the pregancy risk assessment, and regularly reviewed it, for my member of staff who is pregant, I am well aware of my rights!
I still accompany the consultants on the ward rounds but I now take a chair and sit down at every patient. It's lovely actually as when I explain to the patients why I am sitting down, que lovely conversations about their children when they were babies etc. It seems to make them all happy to talk of nicer times. Makes me feel like a nurse again with time to care - fabulous!
(phew..sorry for long post, will promise not to go on big computer too often and subject you to essays!)
