Oh I'm on the weird pregnancy dreams too. Mainly dp leaving/hating/cheating and also lots about my ex Blush which I hate (the dreams not my ex)

SpottyTeacakes · 17/10/2012 19:17

Not that I love him still or anything it was years ago! It's just you know how it is with exes!!

Bellaboo123 · 17/10/2012 19:30

honey fingers and legs crosse for you - keep us posted!!!

Nipple cream - should I start using it soon? I'm sure I read it somewhere but may be imagining it (baby brain)!

MaMaPo · 17/10/2012 19:31

Spotty, I have dreams about my husband being difficult or unreliable - in one he couldn't tell me how my labour had been (I'd been out of it) as he had been at the pub; in another he cheerfully informed me he'd decided to take up smoking 2 months before becoming a father. And he was so proud of his decision!

HoneyMum21 · 17/10/2012 19:35

Got to stay in for steroid injections as swab came back with potential of going into labour soon. They're not sure- prob nothing to worry about but that doesn't really stop me being terrified

SpottyTeacakes · 17/10/2012 19:45

How many weeks are you Honey? Hopefully it is nothing like you say but whatever the outcome you're in the best place and they seem to be looking after you I can't do the flowers so have a Bear

MaMaPo that's hilarious! The human mind is a strange thing!

HoneyMum21 · 17/10/2012 19:52

32+4 spotty

SpottyTeacakes · 17/10/2012 20:01

I know some twins born at 32 weeks and they were home in a month. Only one needed oxygen for a few days Smile

Bellaboo123 · 17/10/2012 20:05

honey thinking of you I'm sure it's just a precaution but you're in the best place

utopian99 · 17/10/2012 20:08

Oh honey crossing everything for you... Do you have anyone with you to talk to/keep you distracted as much as possible?

mwahmwah · 17/10/2012 20:22

Thinking of u honey x

Mummycox · 17/10/2012 20:28

Hope you and baby are ok honey

pidj go get 'em

Got a growth scan tomorrow - with the horrible woman who did my laparoscopy... Dreading it. Update tomorrow night.

Secondsop · 17/10/2012 20:32

honey one of my friends had her baby at 32 weeks and the baby was in hospital for a couple of weeks only and was breathing by herself from the start. Everything is in your favour x

Re the dreams mamapo my husband dreamt that I gave birth in the kitchen. But happily he also dreamt that he cleaned up the kitchen afterwards.

WerewolvesDoTheFandango · 17/10/2012 20:33

Thinking of you honey fingers crossed it's a false alarm

Nothing much to report here other than a visit to my friend and her 4 day old baby boy. Lots of lovely cuddles and he got hiccups while I was holding him. Which probably wasn't fun for him but ever so cute to watch. He looked cross!

Hi everyone,

Was completely rubbish at keeping up with the last thread, but determined to do better this time! Only 7 weeks till due date now -eek! Starting to feel more organised though. Nursery is pretty well sorted and have got most things from the list. Also managed to get a few bargains (including a sling) at a Nearly New Sale at the weekend, so feel a little more justified in making any last-minute splurges.

Honey - good luck, keeping my fingers crossed for you too.

Pidge - hope you get it sorted, sounds like a nightmare. I have sent British Gas away with a flea in their ear on more than one occassion for turning up at completely inconvenient times without any notice to try and change the meter(after failing to turn up at all on the day DH took off work specifically for the purpose) but at least we didn't have all the faff of drilling outside etc. to deal with too.

Coffee - agree with everyone else that it is an outrageous breach of confidentiality. I'd be mightly pissed off too. Glad you managed to get a plan sorted eventually though.

emilyeggs · 17/10/2012 20:35

Keeping everything crossed for you honey, I'm sure all will be fine. Can't remember who asked but my flu/wc jabs itch a bit and are a bit red. The nurse said that might happen also re nipple cream, start using it a few months before birth to prepare, got mine today, might let dh apply it if he's lucky Grin

MyDaydream · 17/10/2012 20:59

honey everything crossed for you, hope your okay and they manage to keep baby in a little longer.
pidj sounds like you won, congrats!
I keep having dreams about big parties with a lot of old friends who turned their back on me when I split with my ex. They always seem like good parties, but I never know what I'm doing there and know its not right.

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 17/10/2012 21:19

honey when I had my bleed at 27 weeks a very dear friend calmed me down about premature labour. One of her twins was on NICU/NNU for a long time due to health problems. She told me that in their terms babies from 28 weeks onwards have a good outlook. So at 32 weeks your baby will be ok. Especially as they've caught it now and you are getting the steroid injections. My fingers are crossed for you.

well today has been a better day than yesterday so that's a good thing at least. Feel like I'm getting more uncomfy by the minute though. I can't wait to just be comfy!

PurplePidjin · 17/10/2012 21:33

I know a lad born at 29 weeks, he's now a strapping 17yo with a phenomenal talent for the guitar and a string of As at GCSE/AS Level...

cherrypiew3 · 17/10/2012 21:37

Honey hope you are ok.

Coffee agree with everyone else I would not be happy, hope you are feeling a bit more relaxed now.

Had flu and wc jabs today, flu arm is fine but wc arm is hurting a bit.

StrawberrytallCAKE · 17/10/2012 21:51

Hope you're ok Honey and they get those steroids in you quick sharp. Dh was born at 32 weeks and he's massive now!!

I am concerned about postpartum photos especially as i've had a recent hair disaster, first of all I looked like cruella de vil and now I look like I've got dark brown/red/black hair with blonde starting from halfway down. Its not a good look for me but I'm having it sorted hopefully very very soon. I just used a brush and a bit of bronzer last time before the pics (after the immediately after birth crazy eyed gas and air pictures that I think most people have) but 4 years later I may have to use a bit of tinted moisturiser and some pink blusher!

WeeJo08 · 17/10/2012 21:54

Hope you're okay, Honey. As everyone has said, you're in the right place.

Queenofsiburbia · 17/10/2012 23:32

Loads of luck honey. We're all thinking of you, and keeping everything crossed.
Keep us up to date Brew Biscuit

Mummycox · 18/10/2012 00:15

Can't sleep. Horrible indigestion and really thirsty. Water making indigestion worse. Very tired.

monsterchild · 18/10/2012 00:30

It's a horrible cycle, isn't it, Mummycox? Sometimes I wake up and I don't even know why, then can't sleep. It's horrible!
