My extra hour overnight was spent cuddling a sicky ds1. All it meant was it was an hour longer before cbeebies came on to help keep him entertained. Now me dh and ds1 are having a pj day. Just typical that I am also having twinges and could do without the wriggling in my tummy too.

SpottyTeacakes · 28/10/2012 09:26

I just had a doughnut in bed mmmmm Grin

WeeJo08 · 28/10/2012 10:03

Hope everyone's enjoyed the extra hour in bed!

Honey It's so great to hear your updates, it sounds like Dash is doing really well and you seem to be cracking the breastfeeding! How are you feeling otherwise?

Alison You sound like you've got nearly everything sorted! I think I am going to start washing everything this week. Only have a few items left to buy on the list...hopefully have them sorted after payday!

I have a friend coming for lunch today....I'm cooking roast beef with all the trimmings! She is an amazing baker so she is being lovely and bringing desserts! I am more excited about this than is normal (or healthy!) Going to have to take off the covers, hood & blankets of our Moses basket (as it's sitting out & we can't put it anywhere) otherwise we would definitely give the boy/girl game away!!

PurplePidjInAPointyHat · 28/10/2012 10:06

I'm sat in the car crocheting while dp does a 5k road race

SpottyTeacakes · 28/10/2012 10:18

pidj there must be an 'olde tea shoppe' Grin

AlisonDB · 28/10/2012 12:28

Ow ow ow!!! (Tmi)
Just had a shower (was warm but not my usual pre preg, end up with red tingling skin hot)
Every time the water touched my boobs my nipples felt like they where being rubbed with sandpaper!!!!

I do not remember this happening with DS1!
Is this normal??

PurplePidjInAPointyHat · 28/10/2012 12:47

There was a co-op, custard danish = yummy!

Alison, I've had sensitive nips on and off, had to buy cheapie padded bras at one point - I'm a 36D, really don't need the extra tbh [hwink]

WerewolvesDoTheFandango · 28/10/2012 13:26

Aquanatal has killed me off, off out for a big (low gi) lunch and then a nap may be in order. Hope everyone's enjoying their Sundays Smile

Has anyone else had sudden tiredness? Also had nausea for the last couple of days. Could be a form of indigestion?

Honey, glad you and Dash are going well. It's strange thinking we were due on the same day, and more than a little worrying. Hope he continues to do well and you get to have home home soon.

Cookiesandcream06 · 28/10/2012 14:51

Jealous pidjEnvy hope the crotchet is going well too.
alison I have days when my boobs are a lot more tender than others? If that helps. And days with leakage and sometimes even if I give them a squeeze (yes I do that BlushHmm ) only a teeny bit of clear liquid comes out.

And yes to sudden tiredness and sickness seconds was that you? My memory is insanely awful I have no brain power. Damn hormones.

Bravedshopping alone with DD today in exchange for soft play bribery . She semi Hmm helped find me some night shirts in Primark- festive looking and checked and button all the way down I'm excited to wear them. This week I will finalise my hospital bag (s!) ... Does anyone else feel like if they are super organised with it then they will go stupidly overdue?!?

EggsMichelle · 28/10/2012 16:06

Too much walking yesterday and too much cleaning today has given me swollen feet, an afternoon resting with feet up on pillows!

MyDaydream · 28/10/2012 16:21

honey it sounds like things are going well for you, you sound very calm about things. Hope it continues to go well for you both.
stacks if I overdo things I get exhausted really easily over the next couple of days. Sometimes it does just feel like someone flicks a switch and my eyes won't stay open.
We paid our pram off today and its being delivered next month! I want it now to play with but I'm sure I can wait. Keep meaning to get clothes washed but then I fall behind on our washing so it gets pushed back. I've given myself to pram delivery day to get sorted, I'm sure it'll be fine.

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 28/10/2012 17:15

Hi everyone just checking in from sunny Dubai (well not right now it's past 9pm).

We arrived safe and sound, tadpole hated the pressure change of take off and landing and went completely psycho, but was good as gold the rest of the flight. Dcs were also good as gold which helped.

Only downside is its still around 35-40 so I can't really walk anywhere without feeling sick and dizzy.

I hope everyone is ok. I'm really uncomfy too, but 33wks today so only 7 left to go now.

pmgkt · 28/10/2012 17:20

Is fibergel ok for us when pregnant? I'm struggling (tmi) at the moment. It's almost like the baby is so low blocking my back passage so its very painful. I don't remember this from last time, and my diet doesn't help I'm craving crap all day.

FriendofDorothy · 28/10/2012 17:37

I take one sachet of Fybogel per day. It has really kept me going (literally!) It's perfectly safe in pregnancy.

pmgkt · 28/10/2012 17:41

Cool I'll try that if I can stomach it! Thanks

pmgkt · 28/10/2012 17:41

They don't do a chocolate flavour do they.

StrawberrytallCAKE · 28/10/2012 18:36

pmgkt I'm with you on that one, can't stand fybogel an recently found out kiwi fruit is a great help, lots of it!!

pmgkt · 28/10/2012 19:11

Oh I like kiwi so I'll try that. I have just been so bad for chocolate and crap, I can go for days without anything healthy.

StrawberrytallCAKE · 28/10/2012 19:15

Me too! It's not that I don't like fruit, I love it but seem to just be stuffing myself with the worst stuff. Having massive issues with twix bars and millionaire shortbread!

emilyeggs · 28/10/2012 19:15

Yay! Got a new memory foam mattress today! Actually looking forward to bed tonight Grin

AlisonDB · 28/10/2012 19:48

I sm sooo unhealthy this preg, last one I ate so well, loads of fruit, veg, red meat, loads of variety,
This preg has been a diet of beige foods, with an unhealthy supply of chocolate and jelly sweets thrown in, anything else makes me feel sick
I can't wait to be able to eat normal healthy food.....
without feeling sick or suffering from heartburn!

JoJoB77 · 28/10/2012 19:53

Evening Smile

So glad to hear your updates honey and hope you will be able to take Dash home very soon.

Im not feeling the tiredness too much yet but i find i get breathless very easily now. It happens when i'm just standing so i can't blame it on some kind of exersion (sp?). I sobbed a bit today as i just felt so lumpy & heavy and well just crap!

I had the worst nights sleep, tossing and turning all bloody night so i've been to birmingham today and splashed out on a dream genii pillow. I have high hopes for tonight!

Hope all are well Smile

emilyeggs · 28/10/2012 20:06

Ooo jojo update us on the pillow and if it's worth the money.
alison I try to alternate bad food days, sometimes I just eat what I want but try to be good the next day (dosnt always happen and as I write this I'm downing a hot chocolate) Wink

SpottyTeacakes · 28/10/2012 20:12

Argh itchy stomach!!
