Ooooo! And my last day of work is now 9 November! Yay. Can't wait. So tired.

Bellaboo123 · 22/10/2012 19:13

My DP has said no to a stag on weekend of 30/11 dd is 11/12 - my mum said did I think that's fair - yes it's is bloody Amsterdam and ill be nearly ready to drop!

I'm measuring small but all of a sudden feeling mahooosive...breathless, constant heartburn/indigestion and my arms are getting chubbs too!!! I'm also starting to feel sick again...at least I'm not alone (in the nicest poss way!)

Chic fudge cake mmmmmmmmm

Bellaboo123 · 22/10/2012 19:14

Chic...I meant choc obv!

AlisonDB · 22/10/2012 19:22

I gave the Horlicks a go, must say I feel better than I have all day! Thanks!!! :-)

Im not really superstitious, We have everything from DS1, pram, furniture, clothes etc...
DH finished painting baby's room last week and I've been adding the finishing touches, washing and ironing clothes and getting everything else sorted.

I am trying to sleep slightly propped up, last night it was so bad I was almost propped into a sitting position which I'm sure contributed to the lack of sleep!

I'm do tired I could sleep now, but the neighbours have other ideas!
1 side of us are renovating so are banging drilling and making noise, (legally they have till 10pm)
The other side are having a screaming domestic!!

DH has slightly redeemed himself, he has canceled his work for tomorrow so he can stay home and help me with my job, I'm a childminder tomorrow is my busiest day -
2 x 14 month olds,
1 x 23 month old,
1 x 3 yr old
& now cos of school holidays my 5yr old DS!!

5 kids, 1 bump, my & DH and a partridge in a pear tree! Lol

PurplePidjInAPointyHat · 22/10/2012 19:45

I've basically said that all plans must be completely flexible from 8/11 onwards as that's when i hit 37 weeks. If PidjChick arrives before then, it'll be a panic anyhow with hospitals etc. Anytime after that is cool, but even if he arrives safely i won't be used to being a mum so can't commit to anything other than spaced-out-ness!

8 months on Wednesday Shock

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 22/10/2012 19:45

You are all welcome to choc cake! There's enough to go round.

DH has been invited to a boxing match on 15/12 and I'm due 16/12. I've told him if I've not had the baby he's welcome to go, but he's tee total and it's only in London so he'd be able to get back within 90 mins. Everyone has very little faith in me going to term though Hmm I'd be very happy with 9 days early like the other 2 tbh.

PurplePidjInAPointyHat · 22/10/2012 19:46

PS any news of HoneyMum since she got home?

Bellaboo123 · 22/10/2012 19:51

The wedding for the stag is 22/12 and I've said no way - I'd (hopefully) had LO by then but I'm not going to feel like a wedding and a WAG styled one at that! Told DP to go on his own and he can see where I'm coming from luckily!

CODwidow · 22/10/2012 19:57

Dh always goes out on a Thursday night and I've said he may as well continue that as the chances of actually going into labour and needing to go to the hospital is pretty slim and if I really needed then I can always call dm. I'm more concerned that he works about an hr and half away with no traffic and can often take over 2 hours to get home. With ds4 I didn't realise I was in labour and was sat eating steak at 6:30 and had him at 8:10!

SpottyTeacakes · 22/10/2012 20:01

Oh COD please let my labour be like that!!

CODwidow · 22/10/2012 20:08

Ha ha I'd had a few sleepless nights that week with contractions so they were obviously doing more than I thought! but compared to my week long labour with ds1 it was better Smile

Bellaboo123 · 22/10/2012 20:30

Ok advice needed please (yes I'm aware I'm turning into a hypochondriac - sorry!)
My chest is really hurting and v v uncomfortable - it's a pressing pain in between my boobs...is this indigestion? Ive been getting loads of acid but never pain like this. In drinking a chocolate Horlicks as I type to try and relieve it.

SpottyTeacakes · 22/10/2012 20:33

Could be, I would try going on all fours, or a ball if you have one, to try and move the baby, could be in a bad position. Pain just below the ribs can be a sign of pre-eclampsia but you would have other symptoms too. Have you got any Rennies or anything?

Bellaboo123 · 22/10/2012 20:35

Ok I've got a ball ill try both - grrrr loving pregnancy!! Thanks spotty - you're turning into my health guru!Wink

SpottyTeacakes · 22/10/2012 20:36

I think I just spend too much time on here Wink I've got feet in my ribs atm, very painful!

Bellaboo123 · 22/10/2012 20:39

Lol snap - I'll budge up and join my on the floor!

CODwidow · 22/10/2012 21:08

I've found having a cup of peppermint tea after lunch and tea really helps wind and heartburn. I know it if I don't have it anyway!

FriendofDorothy · 22/10/2012 21:58

I think I have an arse tucked up under my ribs on the right hand side. Very uncomfortable!

WerewolvesDoTheFandango · 22/10/2012 22:25

My DP drinks most weekends but the hospital is 2 miles away and my mum lives 5 streets away. I will be induced so I will probably let him have a drink or 2 and if we need to get to hospital before my induction date we'll work something out! will change mind when hormonal and crazy

Ugh I'm really regretting being nice and wish I'd never started. I offered to book me and my friends tickets to a Christmas show 1st week Dec. There were 5 of us, then mums got invited, then one person replied to say please get me 4 adults and a child. I have now discovered that the 1/2 price discount I had has run out. 15 bloody tickets at £30 a pop Shock! I am less than impressed and could really do without the stress and the expense!

ISpyPlumPie · 22/10/2012 23:08

Bellaboo - agree it does sound like indigestion, bloody painful though isn't it? Had a lovely afternoon tea with friends yesterday (sort of unofficial baby shower as one of my friends is expecting her 1st DC the week before this LO's due) but I really suffered last night due to too much chocolate cake.

Also had a call from the mw this morning - turns out I do need iron after all, despite being told when I rang to check last week that it must have been fine as "you'd have heard by now". Grrr. Took them with DS and didn't have any of the dreaded side effects, so not too bothered although I was kind of hoping I'd just manage it with diet this time.

The tablet tub has freaked me out a bit though - big warning about overdoses being potentially fatal but apparently one tablet is 464% of the RDA, and I'm meant to take 3 a day. Logically I'm sure it's fine given mw, Dr and pharmasist will have all checked it but still wondering whether I should knock pregancy multi-vit on the head now as that has iron in it too.

emilyeggs · 22/10/2012 23:38

Am really tired but can't get comfortable in bed so have given up and gone into the living room. Sad think it's gonna be a long night and the thought of still having 10wks to go and getting bigger is getting me down. Is it wrong to want my body back? I know I should be careful what I wish for but so uncomfy

emilyeggs · 22/10/2012 23:42

Can I ask to be induced ?

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 23/10/2012 01:00

Would quite like to be sleeping right now. This is the second time I've woken up already!

MyDaydream · 23/10/2012 01:05

emily I was thinking the same thing at the weekend, just so uncomfortable.
I'm up because DP is snoring so I'm on the sofa, which is becoming a regular thing, I'm trying to sort our spare room but am so tired, out of breath and uncomfortable I can't do much before needing a rest. I'm trying so hard to make this a nice tidy family home that's finished and unpacked, I've never really cared before but the basic upkeep is wearing me out I can't get round to anything else and it makes me feel so lazy when he's been out at work all day and it just looks like I've done nothing because the little I have done took so much effort. I'm sick of being pregnant and tired and achey, and I'm sick of feeling shit because my DP doesn't quite understand how I'm feeling and doesn't quite seem to care yet that in 9 weeks there's going to be an extra person here that we're not ready for. (Rant over)

Bellaboo123 · 23/10/2012 03:01

3 o'clock club anyone...?

Wow sounds like we're all getting to a similar fed up stage emily I'm the same just can't imagine being like this/worse even for the next 7 weeks!

Everything is such an effort - not sure if I'm being realistic about working full-time in a demanding job until 30/11.
