Sore, heavy, draggy pain vajayjay and back ache. Awesome.

Am in bed. Might stay here for a loooooooong time.

Titsalinabumsquash · 09/10/2012 22:26

Snap pass I think a bowling ball may be attempting to come out my bum/vagine at the same time. Hmm

Midwife said to keep and eye on the loss btw ( as predicted Smile ) and obvs go in if any waters are leaking or contractions start. Consultant on Friday anyway. Smile

Am currently on all fours arse up in the air trying in what I fully expect to be a vain attempt to move baby to the correct position as he is currently OP - back to back. Made the mistake of googling to read page upon page of very negative stories all saying their labours took days if not weeks and were much more painfull. Shock
As its baby no5 I had the rather stupid notion that it would be easier but seems like a baggy womb with too much room is not good for getting baby into "optimum position" for birthing.
On the name subject, I like Elijah too, is on my second choices list if we dont like Gabriel when the little man arrives. I LOVE biblical boys names and also have Rueben, Micah and Jonah on my faves list.
At my DD school there is a Jaxon. His mum is very young and has 5 kids called, Harlan, Leon, Jaxon, Logan and Zeren. Hmm

Izzybuzzybuzzybees · 09/10/2012 22:37

Sounds like things are gearing up for a few of you ladies then I'm not jealous at all, nope not me

blonderthanred · 09/10/2012 22:39

Passme, do you think it was the yoga? My baby definitely moved down during my class this evening, I suddenly found out there were some moves I couldn't do. I didn't have any Haribo though.

I've bought raspberry leaf capsules but can't work out how many to take and although I know they're only meant to tone your uterus and not bring on labour, I can't help worrying things will start happening too quickly - and I really need next week to get all my stuff done!

TheDetective · 09/10/2012 22:41

Poor Izzy :(

Jonah was top of my list. Til I saw the guy with the gigantic ding dong called Jonah. I don't want my child to have the same name as the guy with the worlds biggest dick! Well, I don't think I do anyway?!!

It put me off a little!

I like Benji, and Joel still, but DP veetoed them. Current list is Elijah, Jonah, Dexter and Luca. My mum dislikes the last two.... Grin

Passmethecrisps · 09/10/2012 22:44

More than likely blonder. Child's pose leaves me breathless and with a furious baby battering me for squishing it. All when I'm supposed to be "surrendering to gravity"

TheDetective · 09/10/2012 22:54

When will I learn?!

Seriously, the paracetomol DP bought did the job, and the pain went. So why did I decide to have a mad 20 minutes rolling around the floor playing with the dog and dancing headbanging to rock music. I've now broke the fanjo again, and can't have any more drugs for another 90 minutes.

Yes I am a muppet. I won't miss this bit of pregnancy for sure!

GTbaby · 09/10/2012 23:34

I must mention I bought all of that today, but haven't eaten it yet! Feel like not long to go now till Sunday so need to indulge in stuff now. I'm sure ill get silly comments about not loosing baby weight whenever I pick up junk after baby is here! So enjoy it while I can.
And it's the kind of crap only I buy when in tesco, n won't b going for a while now . Sad I love going to tesco.

Iheartpasties · 10/10/2012 02:43

Argh! Talk of UK crisps is not FAIR, a bag of hula hoops over here cost about $2.50!! They import them for greedy ex-pats!! When I returned from the UK I had a suitcase full of monster munch, yum yum. They didn?t last very long though!!

ShellyBobbs · 10/10/2012 06:23

Kirrin The watery discharge thing is a good sign for me, when I've had it before it usually means I'm about 3 weeks off which will take me to 38 weeks as I hoped for :)

I was in the 3am club today, lay in bed for a couple of hours wide awake then came down and ate the biggest bowl of porridge to fit in a microwave.

Got loads done yesterday, but don't think I'll have the energy to do much except lie on the settee all day today.

I'm officially on maternity leave! Not a text or fuck all from anyone at work so fuck 'em all! (That's in the last 4 weeks!).

Might go back to bed for an hour before taking the nippers to school.

MissMummy1 · 10/10/2012 07:02

In a shit mood with dh. He point blank now refuses to share a room with me because 'I fidget and keep him awake' funny that given I'm 8 months pregnant. I was really sick in the middle of the night and the arsehole just shouted through to be quiet then this morning had a complete go at me for 'getting up to pee too many times'. Dick.

Safe to say we're off the community's christmas card list this year too. I managed to set the car alarm off at 6.30 this morning and then lent on the horn while trying to clear the windscreen (minus 2 deg here!) to take HIM to work. All my fault of course... Cue another lecture from him THE WHOLE WAY HERE.

Grr stroppy missmummy1 is going back to bed when she gets home. And the git can walk home tonight if there's no apology text.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 10/10/2012 07:06

Don't stop detective you kept me company yesterday in between short bouts of nesting when I had my long bouts of spitting down!

Sophiathesnowfairy · 10/10/2012 07:06

Definately not spitting, what kind of girl do you thins I am????? Grin

Iheartpasties · 10/10/2012 07:13

missmummy tell him to buck his ideas up! When the baby is here will he get narky at them for waking him up??

StuntNun · 10/10/2012 07:18

GT go back to Tesco and buy yourself some pâté to eat on Monday Grin

MM sounds like your OH is being a bit of a pain. Spend the day plotting your revenge perhaps?

horseylady · 10/10/2012 07:34

Mm that's usually when the horses rugs come home and his clothes get washed afterwards.....

My dh is being very lovely!! Think he's suddenly gone very excited!!! 3 days left at work!!!!

DesperateHousewife21 · 10/10/2012 07:43

I've been seriously missing pâté, Brie, prawns (although have cheekily eaten some) and Stilton. Going to have a feast when baby is here.

Starting to feel so uncomfy and fed up, could still have 6 weeks to go though :( if I eat much at all after lunchtime I get a v uncomfy top of the bump, feels bruised and about to burst.

Iheartpasties · 10/10/2012 07:46

I cant wait to gobble down some oysters!!!! yum. I even know which bar i want tio go to get them!!!!

Iheartpasties · 10/10/2012 07:51

Argh! My dh's boss is being a major twat this week!!!

Lilliana · 10/10/2012 08:00

Wow Waiting you have actually done all the things I said I was going to do and haven't - can you come and organise my life please?

I can't believe how organised people are wrt cupboard maps etc but I am lucky and DH is very good at knowing where things go and putting them in the right places so don't need to worry about it.

Stupid question but what do you need to wear to breast feed? I looked at some nursing clothes online but don't get how they work Blush

Nervous I need bras too, someone said debenhams did a good measuring service so I'm going to try there; not sure what the bras are like but where I live there are limited choices and I've no clue what size I need to order online. Still waiting for nesting ...!

VQ one of the mums at school has just called her newest child Jaxon 'cos it's a bit different' Hmm

Detective we're thinking of Jacob if it's a boy. I like Elijah but not Eli which I guess he would end up being called.

Pikz we had a knitted boob too Grin

Smoke alarm decided to go bonkers last night and went off 4 times for no reason. First time about 10.30 and by the 4th time at 1.30 I couldn't take it any more so DH and I tripped all the upstairs electric just to shut the thing up. By that time I was fed up, uncomfortable and sleep was not happening Not feeling my best this morning, think I might make a sign saying stay away and hang it round my neck! (Sure it will be worse after we have the baby though!)

Had wc and flu yesterday and don't seem to have had any problems, now to see mw this pm to check blood pressure. Fx all is ok and we can relax for a while and I will be able to finish work in 2 weeks and 3 days (not that I'm counting down the days!)

Lilliana · 10/10/2012 08:01

oops clearly I did not have flu and wc, I had the jabs! I blame sleep deprivation!

Iheartpasties · 10/10/2012 08:06

www.ebay.com.au/itm/261077079430?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

I got one of these a few days ago - i love it!!!

Iheartpasties · 10/10/2012 08:12

It's a grabber so i dont have to bend over!!!

StuntNun · 10/10/2012 08:16

Lilliana apart from nursing bras you don't need anything specific to wear for breastfeeding. I usually sleep in pyjamas so I would just hoick up my pyjama top at night. If you wear long tops or dresses then you need things that unbutton at the front and quite low as well. You can buy these half-vest things so you don't expose your tummy when feeding but I usually just covered myself up with a baby blanket to maintain decency while whapping my tys out in public!
