tits my flu jag was fine, it was the WC one that reacted like a bitch. The last one I had though, with the SF in it, was pretty horrid.

Lilliana · 07/10/2012 17:44

Congrats Evil, hope the BF gets easier x

34 weeks and had my bump shots done yesterday too :)

3 more weeks of work before I can stop. I can't complain though as apart from turning over and pelvic pain I've not had it too bad and am actually enjoying teaching atm (think it might have something to do with knowing I'm leaving before observations start and OFSTED should have been in before I get back Grin)

Went out dancing last night. Had a great time and everyone said how well I looked but paying for it today - soo tired and struggling to walk!

Titsalinabumsquash · 07/10/2012 17:45

I'll look forward to that on Friday then VQ! I have WC booked in. finally
I've never had a reaction to any jabs before and I had Swine Flu and I have the normal flu jab every year as DS1's care giver.

ValiumQueen · 07/10/2012 17:47

There are loads of them detective luxury ones too. How long would one set of clothes for baby and ten maternity pads last? Does not include nighties.

YellowWellies · 07/10/2012 17:47

I had my WC jag on Thursday and it's still red, raised and tender to the touch - i guess the preggo body reacts more vigorously to jags.

ValiumQueen · 07/10/2012 17:50

tits you are a bit under par at the moment though. May go some way to explaining, but they are different jags each year aren't they? It would be best to report it when you can next week as they 'yellow flag' reactions. Hope it soon settles, and obviously if worried, contact NHS24.

TheDetective · 07/10/2012 17:57

Exactly VQ, shit aren't they! Grin

YW 34 weeks was my turning point too, when it really started hitting me like a tonne of bricks. And a bus. Followed by a lorry. And a train for good measure.

I've suddenly got a proper proper bump now! I knew it would happen at this time! It did with DS too, at 36 weeks, even if I was 3-4 sizes smaller back then! I just didn't look definitely pregnant til late on. Too much cake was more the look I sported!

I'll do a pic later, as the top I am wearing really shows it off even though its filthy and covered in food stains from being a sloppy mare Grin and put it on fb! I may need to put a bra on first though!!! I had to sudacrem under the boobs, the rash is looking really bad now :(

Thechick · 07/10/2012 18:08

Ummm, had my baby this morning. 6 weeks early. Feel like I've been hit by a truck. Will give more info in a couple of days.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/10/2012 18:09

titsi m having the same with the flu and WH sites feeling very sorry for myself!i had them on Fri and they flared up yesterday, today they itch as well but are too soreto touch.

detective I can not believe the pre packed hosp bags, am off for a look. I also couldn't believe the you tube vids about what to pack....and they all forgot nappies Grin

Sophiathesnowfairy · 07/10/2012 18:11

chick no way, congrats. Hope the truck feeling goes away soon so you can update us!

daisychain76 · 07/10/2012 18:11

Hi all, not managed to catch up properly but congrats evil. My tips for bfing would be change nappy first to wake baby up, if he is getting sleepy stop and wind him, you can also stroke his cheek and blow gently on his face. lt does get easier

l am completely exhausted atm. Came home last weekend with huge supplies of blood pressure medication and pain killers (have to say l was really scared about the pain after a c section and it has really not too bad)

Baby is still on special care. Doing well - breathing on his own but still mainly fed tthrough a tube cos they want to make sure he maintains his weight (he is about 4 pounds at the mo), Looks like it will be 2 or 3 more weeks til he?s home. So life is spent trying to keep things normal for 2 older dcs and spending as much time as possible at hospital.

Looking forward to hearing of more new arrivals soon (but not too soon!)

YellowWellies · 07/10/2012 18:19

Bloody hell thechick you were due the day before me. Omiword... maybe all of that stuff on top of my hospital bag might need to go in it now. Lots of love to you and your wee one - hope you are both quickly home together safe and sound. Do let us know name, sex, weight etc when you get your head back together.

Daisy lots of love to you and the wee boy, he sounds like he's doing really well! It will be so much easier when he's home and you don't feel torn in two trying to be two places at once xxxx

ValiumQueen · 07/10/2012 18:22

thechick do hope you soon feel better Thanks welcome baby chick, but it sounds like you have given your mummy a hard time.

daisy I bet you are exhausted. Do hope your wee boy is home soon. It must be hard having your children in different places.

StuntNun · 07/10/2012 18:23

Congratulations Chick that will be some story to tell.

Good to hear from you Daisy, hopefully the next couple of weeks will fly in and you'll have him home before you know it.

Remember there's a post-natal thread if you want to have new baby discussions: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/1579907-November-2012-babies-are-here-at-last

Lilliana · 07/10/2012 18:27

Just checked the stats list and see you were due the day after me Chick- I'd better get those bags packed. It says you were having a boy, hope he is doing well xxx

GTbaby · 07/10/2012 18:28

Woop woop chick big hugs.

Been itchy itchy itchy today. Dr called n need to go in tomorrow for monitoring n more scan/ tests. But trying to be positive. As uncomfortable itchy ness is. It's just an itch. An itch which is driving me crazy. But that's the worse symptom.

Also just realised my WC jab is not until Friday. Most OC cases are induced by 38 weeks n im 37 now. So a lil concerned that fraggle will not b protected Sad.

TheDetective · 07/10/2012 18:30

Has OC been confirmed GT?

Oh my word TheChick you sound very shocked. Hope all is ok, and you are recovering, and baby doing well. Congratulations to you!

kirrinIsland · 07/10/2012 18:35

congratulations chick hope you are both ok.

Lovely to hear from you daisy hope he is home with you soon.

All these arrivals are spurring me on to actually pack a hospital bag....

ValiumQueen · 07/10/2012 18:38

GT get it earlier. Phone GP tomorrow and demand it earlier. They all have stock, and should accommodate everyone who requests it, especially in your situation. Do not take no for an answer!

rowingdowntheriver · 07/10/2012 18:53

Wow chick, congratulations! Hope you and baby are ok.

Evilwater · 07/10/2012 19:03
