Welcome to the connecting bus ladies, next stop morning sickness, booking in, and dating scans. Grin
Estimated Time of Arrive late May early June 2013.

I know we said we'd wait until the end of the month, But I'm so excited. and hungry, and need a wee again, and nervous, and my boobs hurt, and the voyeuristic spiders are still watching me

We'll keep our FX that we all stay the distance, and our ttc sisters will join us soon.

How strange how different we all are, I had to be told to do a pg test by doctor with dd as I really hadn't realised and this time I was convinced it was neg as I had nothing really ( well nothing a sane person would use Wink) my mum and sis had auful pregnancies but my dd was so straight forward and what you would wish for really, no sickness etc didn't show till 20+ weeks and she came 3 weeks early with a quick labour ( I had a mild case of obstetric coliostatus ) which runs in my family but it made the others really I'll, I just had abit of itching, didn't even get stretch marks, that brown line etc no heartburn.... Really most people did want to slap me I think
( as I've had a hard time of late though it shows we all have our luck in different ways)

FrustratedSycamorePants · 24/09/2012 12:01

I think I was obsessively SS in the 2ww. To the point that if I hadn't been pg I would have lost the plot and been lost in COD.

It was the boobs that were confusing me, then I did a fr, which was neg, but I could see what i thought was the indent, and I couldn't workout if I could see pink in it. So I did a cheapy and nothing. So I thought I was out for the month, and I'd got myself so worked up and convinced, and then the bfn with sore boobs didn't feel right. As I never get sore boobs preAF, and thunder was making me run up and down stairs, and poke them Wink
Then the 2nd fr fmu gave me a faint, And 2 frers got darker, then digi confirmed it.

But the rest of my symptoms including the nausea were typical of preAF. Although acid reflux at night a bit suspect but not enough to convince me.
No constipation here, but trapped wind is a good un.

Me too kitty . Had a little sickness but that was as bad as it got... i still get the stink eye from people when i tell them :)

Slightly sore boobs, cramps and heartburn were the give aways with this one.

kittykatskumkwat · 24/09/2012 12:32

Ah so there's another out there 12, I havnt met many!!
Did it worry you the lack of symptoms? Do you feel different this pregnancy? So far this is very similar to dd but I have had 2 mc since dd, first no symptoms and the next ( last month) loads!!! Very strange but obviously didn't affect the outcome

12ylnon · 24/09/2012 12:41

Yes, did it worry you? I had no symptoms at all when i had my MCs, so it's nice to have something. If nothing else i want some sickness to make me believe i'm pg!
It's still so early and my last full term pg was 7 years ago so i'm having trouble remembering what it's like!

kittykatskumkwat · 24/09/2012 13:05

It does worry me now but it didn't with dd, infact I was more worried when at about 9 wks I got back ache etc but no mums net then do I thought I was normal lol
I think everything just worries me more now because of mc but as I said I had alot of symptoms with last one which continued even after I lost it so now I know it doesn't mean anything really, I guess there are just do many people to compare yourself to here!!

peardrop2 · 24/09/2012 13:27

Kitty, yes I agree with you when you say there are too many people to compare with on here. Every thread I go on there is talk of mc which has turned me into a nervous wreck and I have to check I'm not bleeding every trip to the loo which is a bit sad really! If I wasn't on MN I don't think I would be like this but on the other hand MN is helping me in other ways as its my first pregnancy. It's a catch 22 thing isn't it :-)

Thundercatsarego · 24/09/2012 18:26

Hi all, welcome 12!

Just dashing in to say hello, am in the middle of a busy day- just got home from work and am going out again in ten mins. am now too tired for this high speed lifestyle!

pear I'm the same as you re checking when I go to the loo. Seeing the sac at your scan must have given you some ease of mind though?

I'm on #1 too so I really wouldn't know what to expect with SS. It's lovely to be able to chat about all the stuff thats interesting to me but mundane to OH though.

kittykatskumkwat · 24/09/2012 19:46

Pear I knicker checked like mad first time too, to the extent even in the middle of the night I'd have to put the light on when I went to the loo just to check, I've even been out and bought a 5 pack of white knickers how's that ( although the optimistic part of me bought a size 14 so they should fit comfortably till end of pregnancy) it does get easier after the 12 wks, I think when it comes to pregnancy everything is normal to some so lack of symptoms or aches and pAins just take them with a pinch if salt Grin ( I keep telling myself this)
Frus you have 2dds? Any preference this time?

12ylnon · 24/09/2012 19:50

Glad to hear everyone's looking at their pants... we can act like loons together for the next 8 or so months!

stickybeans · 24/09/2012 20:10

Congratulations everyone!! I'm still hopeful for my bfp... . Just thought I'd pop in to maybe get a little babydust before my test this Fri.
Happy & Healthy 9 months and hope to be joining you soon!!

peardrop2 · 24/09/2012 20:33

Wow it's so nice to hear that others are looking at pants! Thank you, thank you!! Kitty I love that you previously brought white knickers...I have to admit that I've been choosing to wear the lighter colours recently :-/ Thunder Even though I got to see a sac it doesn't sadly rule anything out apart from ectopic, I was very relieved to see it's not ectopic though! Wishing you lots of babydust sticky

FrustratedSycamorePants · 24/09/2012 20:43

Hey kitty at this stage I'd be happy with a baby. I do have a preference, but I'd be happy either way. 50/50 chance. Grin

12ylnon · 24/09/2012 21:21

Know that feeling frustrated , looking forward to my scan, seems so far away. How many weeks are you?

Thundercatsarego · 24/09/2012 22:20

Ello ello I'm back again you load of knicker checkers! Hi sticky, fx for Fri for you.

Well what a bloody long day, I have driven for 3 hours, tramped about all over the place and tried to act intelligent and now I'm knackered! No thinking about sticky/unsticky beans though which is a good thing. Got first doc's appointment next Mon, I assume that making an appointment was the thing to do?!!

peardrop2 · 24/09/2012 22:47

Thunder it's lovely to have a distraction isn't it!

Thundercatsarego · 24/09/2012 22:52

Yeah sure is pear. Would love these next weeks to fly by really, but like you were doing the other day I still get caught up in mini excited moments every now and then!

IBelieveInPink · 24/09/2012 23:41

Omg I didn't realise there was a whole other Fred you were all on! I was wondering why everyone was a little quiet, cos I know you lot can natter!

kittykatskumkwat · 25/09/2012 06:51

I was asleep by 9 Blush
Hi pink, you found us!!!
Yes thunder a gp app in the next step although I think in some places you just book in with midwife but no harm in that first anyway, I'm going to ring today, feels better to know ive definatly missed af now, wasn't really sure when it was due but figure a week after test is a good indicator,
Frust I know what you mean about just wanting a healthy bean, love dd so much, I'd quite like her to have a sister as we are so close but at the same time we havnt a boy so that would be nice too, I think I have so many girl things though including nursery it would make life easier?!
Funny the names We liked first time I wouldn't use again now ( only a year ago) dd name was bottom of my list till she was born then I just loved it, names are always an arguement though usually we both keep vetoing!! reminds self not to get carried away too early Grin

FrustratedSycamorePants · 25/09/2012 07:11

Hi pink glad you found us. i zonked too coz no one was nattering, come back and you've all nattered
12 I'm 4+2

Apparently I have to get a pack from surgery, fill it out and return and the midwives call me. Hmm it's different every time.
430 am wake up call for me, but convinced it to go back to sleep after an hour. I am now knackered before the day has begun.

OP posts:
IBelieveInPink · 25/09/2012 07:24

I phoned the docs yesterday. I have to go in and pick up a pack too, I know it's the silliest thing but I'm so excited about it! Just because it's the next step towards 'doing' something if that makes sense!
Really can't be bothered to move today. Could it be any colder?!

peardrop2 · 25/09/2012 07:39

What will be in your pack :-) sounds exciting!! I can't make an appointment until I have my last scan on Friday.

Thundercatsarego · 25/09/2012 07:49

Hey pink, nice to see you here!

What's this about a pack? Do I get one too? Ooo!
