Welcome to the connecting bus ladies, next stop morning sickness, booking in, and dating scans. Grin
Estimated Time of Arrive late May early June 2013.

I know we said we'd wait until the end of the month, But I'm so excited. and hungry, and need a wee again, and nervous, and my boobs hurt, and the voyeuristic spiders are still watching me

We'll keep our FX that we all stay the distance, and our ttc sisters will join us soon.

(ps I think my dog's picking up on something- he's even more cuddly than normal at the mo)

FrustratedSycamorePants · 23/09/2012 20:16

Yes. Avoid peanuts. (and after if you breastfeed) asthma and eczema.

Mine keeps coming and sitting at my feet lookingup at me. cats usually make a bee-line for the pg person in a room.

Thunder I know what you mean about being spooked about mc stories. I felt the same this weekend! Had to distract myself by thinking of names. I have fallen for Oscar for a boy but DH is saying no way :-() stamping feet time! He says it reminds him of a Sesame Street character...no idea what he's talking about because I never watched it. I wonder if 8mths is long enough to change his mind!!

Thundercatsarego · 23/09/2012 20:39

Oscar the grouch! He was a green grumpy muppet who shouted at everyone.

I think Oscar's lovely. I am having same situation with my OH, I am liking Billy but he's not warming to it. Going to let it sit for the next while at least!

Going to poas after OH gets out of shower.

FrustratedSycamorePants · 23/09/2012 20:54

Oscar the grouch was always my favourite. I have one ideal name that DH will love for a girl. Not telling him yet. Can see us disagreeing over boys names.

Snuffalopagus was my favourite. Not sure snuffy is a great name although pretty apt for current snot levels

peardrop2 · 23/09/2012 21:10

Ooooo let us know the result ;-) Hee Hee

Thundercatsarego · 23/09/2012 21:19

Well it was a little bit strange...not sure if I did something wrong. Nothing happened for ages, and then the lines very slowly appeared. Much slower than last time. Now the strongest is the pregnant line- the left hand one and the other one is quite faint. Hmmmm Hmm

FrustratedSycamorePants · 23/09/2012 21:27

That means you're proper upduffed thunder!
You used all the dye on the pg line there was hardly any left for the control line. Frer take 3 mins, so is slow.

OP posts:
peardrop2 · 23/09/2012 21:27

Well it is the pregnant line that you want to be the strongest! I really wouldn't worry Hun, you're pregnant :-)

Thundercatsarego · 23/09/2012 21:29

Oh!! Well that's good then.

I really am a proper plonker, on so many levels

peardrop2 · 23/09/2012 21:31

Yes you're a plonked :-) but now you've made me want to run out and buy a FRER!! LoL

OK, so even though I've had Fybogel, hot lemon water x2, shed loads of celery, 2x figs and tons of water I've got a full bowel and nothing to show :-/ Better go and get some sleep as I know what's coming next...delightful 3am bowel pains...lucky me! Night pregnant ladies :-)

Thundercatsarego · 23/09/2012 21:34

Oh pear, poor you. I'm still hoping that this will just bugger off disappear one of these days soon x

FrustratedSycamorePants · 23/09/2012 21:35

Congrats of the bFp thunder Grin

I hope it gets easier after all that pear

Night ladies

Morning! or I think it is, mornings without a ton of caffeine are not good. Have been nibbling ginger biscuits all morning so I don't inadvertently puke at work. (always a dread of mine) As it is i just feel nauseous and sleepy.

kittykatskumkwat · 24/09/2012 09:55

I've found you!!! Yeay
I've done my second digi this morning 2-3! Yeay it's gone up, I was fine yesterday but then feel abit wobbly today as wasn't so tired I fell asleep before 10, is that mad ( or just that I was willing to stay up as I love downtown abbey?!?)
Agree on the pet front my boy cat seems to love his mummy when I'm pregnant and wants to curl up on my tummy
I'm not sure if I'm abit constipated? My mum always said she knew she was of from that!! I do go everyday but I have always found it easy whereas this last week it's been harder to go and I feel I need to sometimes but nothing comes, does that sound like it?
I didn't have symptoms with dd and know I should be very smug but it does scare you when everyone else seems to have loads of signs they are pregnant!!

FrustratedSycamorePants · 24/09/2012 10:06

Yay for digi going up kitty how many tests have you done?

I wouldn't worry about the lack of symptoms. Everyone has totally different ones, and each pregnancy is different (cliché but true) I think is because you spend the 2ww obsessing over everything, that it's hard to let go, and just enjoy it. I'd be happy without the nausea. you can have my sore boobs. (but not the inflation, I'm keeping that) and I have the start of a headache, but I'm allergic to paracetamol. Trip to drs is in order to see what I can take.

Has anyone booked in with midwives yet

12ylnon · 24/09/2012 10:12

Ehem.... Hello! Edd 2nd of June... Still can't quite believe it!
Congratulations to all of you!

peardrop2 · 24/09/2012 10:31

Hi 12 and kitty

kitty I think constipation can come in all sorts of levels. Sounds like you have it mild. Maybe eat some grapes/kiwis/prunes to keep on top of things? My constipation is severe. I can go 3 days without doing a no2, I'll feel very heavy and bloated. The twinge pains keep me up at night so I become very irratible and grumpy at work :-/ It is also extremely uncomfortble to drive and wear any sort of normal clothing other then pjs! I really can't wait to tell work :-)

Frus I haven't been able to book a midwife appt yet as I'm still under observation at the Early pregnancy clinic at the hospital. I'm going for another scan on Friday. I'll be 6 weeks 2 days (I think) so I'm really hoping there will be a flutter of a early heartbeat!

FrustratedSycamorePants · 24/09/2012 10:32

Hi 12ylnon welcome aboard. Congratulations!

kittykatskumkwat · 24/09/2012 10:59

Frust I've done 4, I always buy in packs of 2, frer and digi, they've all gone now!! There has been 2 days I've not poasBlush
Pear- thanks, I definatly didn't think I had constipation as such just wondered if that difference was a mild cause as I've never had to " try" before if you get me lol

peardrop2 · 24/09/2012 11:07

Kitty - sounds like the progesterone is just slowing down your digestive system a little. I sound like your mum because the day I discovered I was pregnant was the morning I woke up with constipation pain...and then even though this is my first pregnancy from that weird point I just knew it was BFP even before I ran to Superdrug.
