Welcome to the connecting bus ladies, next stop morning sickness, booking in, and dating scans. Grin
Estimated Time of Arrive late May early June 2013.

I know we said we'd wait until the end of the month, But I'm so excited. and hungry, and need a wee again, and nervous, and my boobs hurt, and the voyeuristic spiders are still watching me

We'll keep our FX that we all stay the distance, and our ttc sisters will join us soon.

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 19/10/2012 13:16

thund huge foreheads were deemed attractive and a sign of good breeding in chaucers time.

Thundernonk · 19/10/2012 13:22

Damnit, I don't really have a huge forehead, so I'll look you in the eye I'm such a commoner

Are you a bit of a literary buff, frus?

Well done jojo, get some of the good shit drugs x

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 19/10/2012 15:41

I'd say "was" more than "am" thund

I'm so bloated today I look pregnant. Ugh

Thundernonk · 19/10/2012 16:02

I'm belly-tastic too...

Nice to have a former lit boffin amongst us

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 19/10/2012 16:33

Glad I'm not the only one who is bellytastic. I swear people at work are guessing.
My 7yo has guessed but she has big ears too but we've neither denied or confirmed it to her as she has a big mouth to go with her ears

Thundernonk · 19/10/2012 16:45

My OH is saying he can't notice any difference on me blind to the fact I look like Father Christmas with huge sore boobs

So much for the loving ways our partners are supposed to note our body changes. Oblivious!

Lorelei353 · 19/10/2012 17:05

Totally big-bellied here too. Haven't been able to wear my usual skinny jeans to work - been in leggings with loose dresses and looser jeans all week. Definitely feel pregnant.

Think my DH isn't saying it's noticeable just to be nice though. No man wants to accuse his (hormonal) wife of having a big belly! Dangerous territory. Hmm

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 19/10/2012 18:10

DH keeps saying "no,no, you're paranoid you don't look pg" then he says "what if its twins" wtf you saying I look fat mate? Can't win against the hormones in this house. Wink

Thundernonk · 19/10/2012 18:36

Ha!! I was wondering if this belly might be related to more than one bun, but listening to everyone I guess not...

Jojoba1986 · 19/10/2012 20:21

Yes, Frus it's the take at night stuff. So unfair. I was really excited when DH returned with it hoping that I'd be feeling better soon but v disappointed to discover I have to wait! Sad

I'm also belly-tastic & am convinced it's twins! Maybe there's something in the air & we're all having multiples! Grin

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 19/10/2012 21:56

Yeah jojo we all have tremendously fast growing twins. Grin either that or our insides have all moved to make room for single bubs, or in my case have a bad case of bloated tummy Grin

Do you have promethazine jojo? It seems to be working for me.

MrsBri · 19/10/2012 22:32

I don't quite qualify for this thread, but can I join anyway?! I'm only a couple of weeks out...I know all of you lot

If it helps, my first degree was Eng Lit. I'm also a positive giant at almost 5'11"! You know you want me here really :-)

bringonthetrumpets · 19/10/2012 22:42

Phew! I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one dealing with a bump at nearly 7 weeks! My goodness, it just appeared and I'm having to do the whole hair tie in the jeans, bit.

DH also says he can't tell. Hmm. Hard to miss when it's your 3rd.....

Welcome MrsBri when is your EDD?

MrsBri · 19/10/2012 22:48

23rd June, trumpet :-)

I also have a little, but expanding, bump which DH claims to not be able to see. Bloody men!

Apparently I nodded off this afternoon. I didn't notice! I'm hoping that doesn't mean I'll drop off at my desk when I'm back at work next Wednesday and not know :-/ Could give the game away somewhat.

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 19/10/2012 23:19

Welcome mrsbri have you name changed? if you are upduffed then you are welcome on the bus, we have comfy chairs and a smoothie bar got to be careful about sleeping on the job.

trumpets I totally agree with hard to miss with 3rd. in my case if a 7yo can tell, everyone else must be too polite to say I'm fat already.

I've cheated and have some under-bump maternity jeans in the size smaller than I am normally. They are great, very comfy and Have stretchability.

Jojoba1986 · 20/10/2012 00:32

Frus yes, promethazine! I've just taken the first one & am planning on watching tv for half an hour just to make sure I don't go into anaphylaxic shock! Paranoid much?! Wink
It was interesting to read online about how it works... I've been feeling ok while lying still & only really felt nauseated while upright! Definitely sounds like an over-active motion sickness response to me! I like to know the medical reasons for things!

mrsbri Everyone's welcome here regardless of due date or height! I'm only 5'! Grin There is a general June thread around that you might want to join too so you don't get too frustrated when everyone has their babies first! Wink

bringonthetrumpets · 20/10/2012 04:29

Nice thinking on the maternity jeans, frust! I dug my box of old mat clothes out today and was just thinking of how much I want to go shopping for new things. I remember wearing all of those shirts on constant rotation with the other two....kind of don't want to do that again!

Glad the meds are working for you, jojoba!

DH and I went out for our anniversary tonight and I had the most amazing dinner ever.... working really hard that it stays in my belly and I don't waste a fantastic meal. A bit tmi....sorry. I feel like you all could empathize with the situation Grin.

Thundernonk · 20/10/2012 08:07

GOOD MORNING ALL!

Hi nic, good to see you, although shouldn't you be in a honeymoon whirlwind right now and not on MN?! How do you like our bus? Swish innit? Mind your head though, tall lady.

From what I understand you guys who already have DC have every reason to have early bumps. Unlike me who is just lardy.

Right better move, got to take car to garage. Boo.

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 20/10/2012 08:34

mrsbri are you nic?

Morning thund I'm in a goodish mood today. Children are up and dressed, on a Saturday!!!! and they're in good moods.

Thundernonk · 20/10/2012 08:55

frust - nice one! Good start to the weekend. I'm now walking dog back from garage to get home to get duvet onto couch, cup of coffee and Sat morning tv do lots of cheery housework

Yeah she's the married version of nic

MrsBri · 20/10/2012 09:35

I like your bus...the June specific one scares me a bit as I don't know anyone! I'll probably join after 12 weeks though :-) Only 7 to go!

We aren't really a whirlwind kind of couple! We are having an awesome, if knackering, time, however. The fresh air wipes us out! Spectacular scenery. Bastard cold though!

Today's tour bus has WiFi. The excitement!

Jojoba1986 · 20/10/2012 09:41

Good morning everyone! No time to feel ill today! In-laws arriving in 1.5 hours to kick off DS's birthday weekend & I'm semi-dressed & hiding in bed! Sooo sleepy! DH has just gone to the shops for a few last minute things & it's entirely possible that he won't be back until moments before they arrive if they're a little early! Scary!
I think the tablet has helped, although it made me feel awful a little while after taking it. Felt like my limbs & lungs were asleep but my brain was awake! I didn't want to sleep because it felt like I had to remind myself to breathe! Confused All good now though! Smile

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 20/10/2012 10:58

How's marred life mrs do you feel any different?

kittykatskumkwat · 20/10/2012 11:11

Hello < peaks little brown face in back from holl's> how is everyone, I've not caught up on thread yet just bookmarking it for later but spotted my little married friend Nic Grin

Thundernonk · 20/10/2012 11:26

Hi kitty! Welcome home, did you have a lovely time? Where did you go again?

Good luck today, jojo
