Welcome to the connecting bus ladies, next stop morning sickness, booking in, and dating scans. Grin
Estimated Time of Arrive late May early June 2013.

I know we said we'd wait until the end of the month, But I'm so excited. and hungry, and need a wee again, and nervous, and my boobs hurt, and the voyeuristic spiders are still watching me

We'll keep our FX that we all stay the distance, and our ttc sisters will join us soon.

Yay. Happy roots

Thundernonk · 16/10/2012 19:40

Did you see the doc, frus?

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 16/10/2012 20:04

No appointments. bloody typical But managed to get one for later in the week. Even DH has said I wasn't this bad last time.

Thundernonk · 16/10/2012 20:11

it must be the boy
Oh that's strange. Annoying about appointment though, but good news getting one this week.

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 16/10/2012 20:16

I'm still slightly in shock that they left me make one for later in the week. That's virtually unheard off in our surgery.

Thundernonk · 16/10/2012 20:18

What do they normally do, make you keep ringing up?

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 16/10/2012 20:21

I told DH it was twin girls and that was why I was so sick I'm cruel me

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 16/10/2012 20:22

You normally have to ring on the morning or the afternoon to get an appointment for that am/pm they're arseholes like that

Thundernonk · 16/10/2012 20:32

Oh yeah I've heard of that system. They always have emergency appts though if it gets really bad.

Maybe it IS twins....

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 16/10/2012 20:41

They only have emergencies if you tell the receptionist your problem and the nosey cow she deems it to be an emergency.
The other way is to ask for dr or nurse practitioner as that usually means your desperate

Thundernonk · 16/10/2012 20:44

Sounds like you know your system! But if you said to receptionist you're pg and suffering from increasingly severe ms, for which it is recommended you get medical help? That's a good reason for an emergency appt? .

Not that any of this is necessary as they let you make an appointment!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 16/10/2012 20:51

This week is good enough for me plus their receptionists aren't know for their confidentuality

Thundernonk · 16/10/2012 20:54

Oh yes, not good, especially in the small town situation!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 16/10/2012 21:12

It sucks sometimes. On a plus note non pg related appointments today went really well Smile and feeling positive. makes a change from nauseous Wink

Jojoba1986 · 17/10/2012 00:07

Hello all! I went to stay with my parents for a whole 24hrs & feel like I've been gone a month! Just thought I'd check up on you all! Smile

Absolutely shattered now! I spoke to my mum about ms & she said she was sick until 16w with DB, 20w with me & 24w with DS! I could cry at the mere thought of it lasting that long! Sad I'm hoping that my lack of sickness last time means I start off further back on the scale than she did & therefore won't be nauseated much longer! Hush. It's perfectly good sleepy pregnant logic! Grin

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 17/10/2012 08:29

Yawn. Morning. Ugh. That is all.

Thundernonk · 17/10/2012 08:34

Ditto ^

IBelieveInPonk · 17/10/2012 08:56

Morning. 8 weeks today. Why is time going SO SLOwLY! It feels like forever until I can just relax and stop getting worried every single time I feel a twinge.

Aside from that, I have put on 5 lb in 5 weeks. Just thought I'd share.

peardrop2 · 17/10/2012 11:14

Ponk snap with the weight an everlasting wait!!! Come on 12 weeks!!

9+1

merrygiant · 17/10/2012 11:23

Morning. I called in sick today after getting up and throwing up big time. I'd also been quite sick after getting home from work last night. I know that its ms and not some tummy bug that I could pass on, but the thought of driving round all day without knowing where the next toilet might be was too awful (I was going to be doing home visits today) (sorry if all this was tmi or making you feel bleurgh)
Anyway, am secretly really pleased at the onset of not just nausea but actual sickness. I didn't have this at all in my last pg so in my pregnancy-logic-brain, this means that this pg is totally different and will therefore be successful...yay!
How's everyone else feeling today?

Lorelei353 · 17/10/2012 12:51

Bleurgh.

Probably not as bad as recent days but constant queasiness. Usually subsides by about 3.30pm though.

Boobs are beginning to feel big too. Hoping they don't get much bigger. I'm a 32E as it is!

Still, like everyone else, hoping that pregnancy signs = healthy, proceeding happily pregnancy. I've never been pg before so hoping it'll all just trundle along nicely. Also, I only took the one HPG. I couldn't bear to do it again in case it changed!

IBelieveInPonk · 17/10/2012 14:42

Hi ladies. I'm afraid I may have to love you and leave you. Had a big bleed earlier. Got to wait until scan tomorrow morning but I think we all know what that means. So sad. I really really hope for the best for all of you. Fingers toes and everything else crossed x

merrygiant · 17/10/2012 15:15

Oh dear ponk how scary for you. A friend of mine had very heavy bleeding at this stage and is now 32/40 so please don't lose all hope, although you must be terrified.
Everything crossed that your scan shows a good outcome xx

Jojoba1986 · 17/10/2012 15:22

Ponk don't leave us! Sad Hope all goes well at the scan! Like merry said, sometimes bleeds happen without it being the 'obvious' reason! Fx that everything's fine! (((Hugs)))

Lorelei353 · 17/10/2012 16:43

Oh ponk good luck at the scan. Hope it's not what you think/fear.
