Welcome to the connecting bus ladies, next stop morning sickness, booking in, and dating scans. Grin
Estimated Time of Arrive late May early June 2013.

I know we said we'd wait until the end of the month, But I'm so excited. and hungry, and need a wee again, and nervous, and my boobs hurt, and the voyeuristic spiders are still watching me

We'll keep our FX that we all stay the distance, and our ttc sisters will join us soon.

Oh man, DH was so mean this afternoon! Still makes me want to cry thinking about it. This is #3 for Pete's sake, you'd think he had learned with the other two....

So, ferocious appetite atm. Seriously cannot get enough to eat (I'm only 122 lbs, so I'm sure it looks odd to see me eating so much) but during lunch I was eating an absolutely delish personal-size pizza for lunch with DH. I was eating the last piece and he just starts laughing and says "Well, good thing it's hunting season (in the States), you can just go get yourself a deer for dinner, although I don't know if you'll make home with the thing whole though, I'd recommend cooking it first. You're really tearing into that pizza, Trumpets! Way to pack it away Trumpets!" Angry Shock.

He can't figure out why I would be upset and now thinks I have no sense of humour. Hmm

FrustratedSycamorePants · 05/10/2012 20:43

trumpets I am hoping you gave him a slap filthy look for that.

Try lemon and ginger tea with real lemon and honey in it. It's the biz...

FrustratedSycamorePants · 05/10/2012 21:28

Lemon and ginger tea ?

Thundercatsarego · 05/10/2012 21:29

Have you not tied it. Twinings I believe. Yum!

FrustratedSycamorePants · 05/10/2012 21:39

Will hunt it out tomorrow. And anything else to stop my nose streaming. I can't handle much more sneezing, I have to curl up if lying down or braise myself against a walk if stood because I regularly put my back out by sneezing. Sad

Poor you, that back sounds like such a nightmare. Definitely get some tea, and fresh lemon and good honey too. Head propped up whilst in the brace position too. Feel better soon hun x

bringonthetrumpets · 05/10/2012 22:34

A nice warm shower might help everything drain too, Frust. Sad Poor you!

Jojoba1986 · 06/10/2012 00:38

Aww! I hate being ill while pregnant! You're not supposed to take anything useful! Sad

Re: wedding, I'm not much of a drinker anyway so most people won't notice & I'll be needing to drive around a bit so I can use that as an excuse! The lack of alcohol has already come in handy when my cousin needed picking up from a further station than intended to avoid late night waiting for a train by herself! I had had a v small half of a v small glass of white wine with dinner but this is the norty bus! Grin Wine

Jojoba1986 · 06/10/2012 00:41

If I start to feel self conscious about my tummy I'll just go stand next to the bride! She's 20 weeks pg! Just makes this whole weekend that bit harder - they found out on Wed that they're having a girl & so we're all cooing over the scan pics & I can't say anything! Sad

FrustratedSycamorePants · 06/10/2012 08:52

Have a good day today jojo Grin

I've woken up with full blown stinking cold and feeling very sorry for myself. Must buy ginger and lemon tea later. and more tissues

I didn't take any with my cold even though I can, you'll be good. But some fresh ginger too I reckon- it works wonders x

FrustratedSycamorePants · 06/10/2012 11:23

Mmmmm lemon & ginger tea with a slice of lemon and some honey is actually quite nice. Still snuffly. Think I might call myself snufflelufigus.

You're a complicated woman, frus! Hope you're feeling a bit better this evening. I'm havering a fed up day. Spect it's just hormones, humph.

bringonthetrumpets · 06/10/2012 21:57

Official first day of queasiness. Nothing sounds good and nothing feels like it's going to stay down.....ugh.

Hope you're feeling better frus!

ella0 · 06/10/2012 22:46

Thanks for the reassurance re baths, I had a slightly more enjoyable one tonight!

frus hope you're feeling better soon. I got my BFP on Monday then came down with a stinking cold and sore throat on Thursday. I haven't slept properly since then and have been worried it'll do harm this early on. I seem to be on the mend today, but its horrible not being able to take any medication. I know paracetamol is safe during pregnancy, but the nhs site says to take it if you really feel you have to, so I chose to go without and I've just been having hot water, lemon and honey.
