Welcome to the connecting bus ladies, next stop morning sickness, booking in, and dating scans. Grin
Estimated Time of Arrive late May early June 2013.

I know we said we'd wait until the end of the month, But I'm so excited. and hungry, and need a wee again, and nervous, and my boobs hurt, and the voyeuristic spiders are still watching me

We'll keep our FX that we all stay the distance, and our ttc sisters will join us soon.

Thunder really? Not even a little sneaky peak at the colours on the Mother Care website? ;-)

peardrop2 · 02/10/2012 11:52

Is anyone else hungry lots more than usual? I feel a bit weak if you don't keep eating. It started yesterday and carrying on today I see.

7 weeks today

Thundercatsarego · 02/10/2012 11:54

No not at all! The thought hadn't even crossed my mind which made me surprised to even read about it!

IBelieveInPink · 02/10/2012 11:56

thunder I'm the same, not even considered pushchairs or anything like that yet.
However am finding it very hard to resist all the cutie baby clothes, almost broke down in tears at an 'i love daddy' one the other day, however I am under strict instructions NOT to buy ANYTHING until after the scan. Which does make sense spoilsport

Thundercatsarego · 02/10/2012 12:07

That's reassuring ponk, altho you're still one step ahead of me, baby clothes do nothing for me either at the mo. just self preservation I guess and I'm just dealing with one thing at a time!

IBelieveInPink · 02/10/2012 12:08

I wish they didn't! I am trying not to go near anything baby related, but it doesn't help when it is all I can think about!! :)

peardrop2 · 02/10/2012 12:17

I've brought a baby changing bag Half Price in the sale on the Zulily website, two pram blankets, bibs, a bath thermometer because it looked cool and one baby grow! I like having a little box of goodies sitting in the nursery :-)

peardrop2 · 02/10/2012 12:17

Can't buy much more before we find out the sex in January!

Thundercatsarego · 02/10/2012 12:21

Oh God we don't have nursery!

FrustratedSycamorePants · 02/10/2012 12:35

Don't worry thunder our spare bedroom is being used as a walkin wardrobe. Grin am loathe to change that before bublin is 6months old. Grin
pear you've got loads

Ps some really good colours in asda for outfits/sleep suits. I love bright colours on babies.

Not to change the subject, as is amusing me :) but what is everyone doing about DP's coming along to booking in appointment? Mine asked me last night if he should book the time of work, and I had assumed it was just something I needed to go to. Are yours coming along for it?

Thundercatsarego · 02/10/2012 12:38

I'm the same frus. (liking bublin btw!)

Again ponk, sorry haven't thought about this either but I reckon probably not?

FrustratedSycamorePants · 02/10/2012 12:59

Hi ponk DH only comes to scans and birth.

peardrop2 · 02/10/2012 13:10

Thunder don't worry we've just moved into our first house which is why I have an empty nursery! Literally conceived two weeks after the move.

Frus ooooo they sound nice! I don't have a clue where Asda is around here, I may need to look online if possible!!

Pink good question! I asked DH this last night as our appt is coming up next week. I think I'm going to go alone to this one and maybe bring him along to others. My friend told me that further along you get to listen to the heartbeat so I might bring him to that. He's very busy working though so I wouldn't want to disturb that as he has his own company so time is money in his case!

IBelieveInPink · 02/10/2012 13:24

That's what I figured too. I think I will do this one on my own, he can come along to others if he wants to. Am going to try and persuade him to come to antenatal classes, so will save his time off for then!

FrustratedSycamorePants · 02/10/2012 21:27

Love these colours pear

The price is good Frus I would never think of buying clothes from George before you said. You would love some of the bold baby grows on Zulily at the moment! Not the same price as George though!

FrustratedSycamorePants · 03/10/2012 06:09

Eek. Blush but there's such a huge difference in price, it's odd. I think the cost of children's clothes should be capped as they grow so much in the 1st year they barely wear anything before they've grown out of it.

So the strange dream last night My ex was the white guy from rizxle kicks, I think we were trying to get a message across to people by painting a picture onto bread?! There was more but it escapes me now, I wish I could remember as its the kind of stuff you'd have been amazed I could make up!

FrustratedSycamorePants · 03/10/2012 08:06

Ooh sounds.. um... Wierd kitty Grin

Anyone else feeling green around the gills today?

OP posts:
IBelieveInPink · 03/10/2012 10:40

kitty that is most definitely a weird one! I've been having a few weird ones, but that is a winner so far!

frust no, not feeling at all sick, and to be honest am a little concerned about it. I know many will tell me I should be pleased, but in my head it just doesn't make sense! Anyone else still not got many symptoms? Should I be worrying?

kittykatskumkwat · 03/10/2012 10:44

Pink I've not really and didn't with dd, boobs have felt very there this morning and abit burpy this am in the I'm quite hungry sicky sort of way but not that you could moan I don't think, even the dreams had stoped for a week Untill the last 2 nights, enjoy it while you can, I think we are still early days and it could all change where we will be cursing ourselves

FrustratedSycamorePants · 03/10/2012 10:56

ponk I wouldn't worry just yet. I feel green, but not to the stage of being sick yet. Boobs hurt on and off. But there's still plenty of time to get them.

Jojoba1986 · 03/10/2012 11:03

I had no nausea at all with DS but have had a bit with Lickle Pickle! None yet today but I felt really quite yucky last night! Try not to worry too much ponk, I read that MS usually starts at around 6 weeks so there's still time for you to join in the fun! Grin

As far as DPs at appts goes, my DH will probably be coming to my booking appt partly to entertain DS (so we don't have to find a babysitter & risk them finding out why we need them!) & partly because I have the memory of a fish at the best of times so will probably need him to remind me of important info! He won't be coming to standard mw appts though except for the one when we hear the heartbeat for the first time!
